NeuroNation - Brain Training Reviews

So I downloaded NeuroNation like a week ago, and I am actually quite enjoying the experience so far. NeuroNation helps you memorize and analyze patterns that can be more challenging the more you advance in each sequence. This game can help those who have trouble memorizing and could help those who have dementia and other brain-like disorders. The game keeps track of how your responding and calculates them in categories (such as memory, willpower, flexibility, focus, verbal fluency, etc.). I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to improve their memory and brain power, seriously a great game for young minds, too great in fact that if children tried it out, they’ll have minds that are equivalent to professors (ages 4+)! 😃

Most of the training exercises created for each of the areas of the brain is very good in improving that region. Regular daily training has resulted in noticeable improvement in my deteriorating brain thanks to smart phones and computers doing most of the brain work for me.
The reason I have removed a star is because the verbal training tries to improve your vocabulary skills which to my understanding is your current memory, knowledge and understanding of words in the dictionary. Just like any word game, 4 scrambled letters can make up more than one word. However the game requires you to guess the exact word it is thinking. So even though you entered a word that is accepted in the dictionary it is not correct based on the game which then makes this test inaccurate in measuring ones skill and knowledge of vocabulary. This needs to be fixed.

I’ve had NeuroNation since it first came out years ago and have seen how it has changed through out the years. I simply love the exercises that clearly get your brain going and thinking it’s constantly prompting you to get better as well as letting you know where you stand compare to the rest of the users. All in all it’s a great app to truly get your brain going even if it’s just a couple minutes a day it feels like a game yet you know your exercising your brain so it keeps it fun. I actually started deleting games and using NeuroNation more often working the brain and having fun

this app is a quick “game” your can play throughout the day and night. You can give yourself a 5-10 minute break and play this app. Sometimes, it’s a welcoming distraction. One thing, I like about this app is competing with myself. I’m always trying to beat my best score. Another thing I like about this app is the stats it gives you after each game. With this app, when I’m frustrated, needing a “timeout”, or when I need some inspiration - I can play a quick game of this app and refresh myself.

NeuroNation is seriously awesome! I worked as a cognitive Training coach, and I currently subscribe to all of the major brain training programs. (Lumosity, Elevate, Peak, Memorado, Brain HQ, etc) As far as difficulty goes, this app is by far the most difficult of all the brain training programs. Bu that’s what makes it so great! The games are challenging. I can really see a lot of growth in my cognition.
Paying for the program is a small investment, but it’s completely worthwhile. Everyone should be using this app.

I enjoyed NeuroNation for about a month after I first signed up, then got a bit bored with it. A year later, without any head’s up from the developers, an $84 charge appeared in my credit card bill. They will not offer me a refund, but are happy to discontinue my service and give me a “voucher” for a friend. I think this is really dishonest; they would be happy to continue taking my money for years and hoping I wouldn’t notice on my cc statement. A reputable company that had a good product would offer a full refund to dissatisfied customers. Maybe this is the way of the world these days, but it truly turns me off to such enterprises. I had much better experience with LUMINOSITY and found them much more upstanding.

An excellent yet fun way to play while increasing you ability to critically think, an art that is missing from our modern educational constructs. This is so very important for anybody that strives to increase the value and quality of their and others lives. Truly, this should be required in our school systems which would result in raising the level of the oceans resulting in all the boats rising creating a more dynamic and brighter future for all!

I was having issues with being able to focus. Since I started training my brain with NeuroNation. I have been able to focus. I have also improved my attention, speed of thinking, and reasoning. NeuroNation is super well designed. I love all the games. My wife and I are addicted. Don’t hesitate to purchase it. Your brain will thank you later!

I think there needs to be a bit more detail on how to play the se games so that you can practice a little more before and understand what you need to do before you play an actual game. I understand why you might not do his so that the player can quickly grasp the instructions huni think just a bit of practice would be good due to tie explanations that aren't so detailed.

I love trying to see how ,”smart” I am, now that I have AGE AND WISDOM!!! Lol! Actually it is nice to know that you can still do some of these and also see how well you do against others! I definitely have some that are beyond my expertise, but I know brain exercise is just as important as physical exercise. I don’t do the premium but the price is right for me!!

All the buttons in the games to small to use them. First thing you have to do is to solve the task, next job is find out the smallest button with the correct answer. And the second step is much more difficult than the first one!!!!!!! Fix it it please. Make the most big buttons as it only cloud be!!!! On the first versions of NeuroNation the buttons were with normal size!!!! And kill you UI/UX designer!!!

I enjoy playing brain games and have been using these platforms to improve my mental alertness, memory, reasoning, and overall new neuro connections. This is my second time playing Neuro Nation and the levels in each domain have increased in difficulty…I like it! Always up for a mental challenge! I will pay for the year to see how much I can improve on.

I was having issues at work with different things and my therapist recommended NeuroNation. I was a little apprehensive since I don’t pay for apps but it came highly recommended so I did.

Since I started using NeuroNation I feel a lot more confident and not having so many issues. I love NeuroNation, best purchase ever.

Incredibly challenging games and works various “muscles” in your brain to keep you beyond sharp.

A great “tune-up” if you haven’t played in awhile and can’t figure out why you feel not on your game. This is the perfect formula. Play a few games in different categories and you’ll be back in no time.

NeuroNation is excellent for an everyday brain workout; I uploaded NeuroNation quite a few years ago just for that. However, five years ago, I had a concussion an NeuroNation became part of my therapy for recovery. My doctor was impressed with NeuroNation and added it as part of my therapy.

NeuroNation with no doubt is amazing. However, each time I update it, more and more games are getting premium. Now it’s practically impossible to use it for free.
That’s frustrating. I hope the developers change their strategies because now it seems that the only thing they are looking for is to get the users to pay for premium. That’s not cool. that’s not this app.

It gives you a variety of exercises to choose from. The material is perfect mix of being challenging, but not impossible..doable, but not insultingly simple. I feel like I also started noticing immediate improvement with my ability to recall things.

This is an amazing app, you don’t even have to pay for it to get a great experience. It doesn’t take long to play the levels are short and you can pick the modes and games you like to play. It’s a great way to keep your brain sharp.

Highly recommend this application for a daily mind workout that truly helps process information faster, more accurately and also teaches effective analyzing skills as well. It requires diligence and self discipline though.

Conceptually, NeuroNation isn't much different from other ones except the game designs are different enough to make it difficult when using more than one app. I hope that makes sense.

Some of the tutorials are not clear. Sometime with moving objects it’s hard to hit the correct one and have it register on the phone. It marks it as wrong, when you are clearly picking the correct one. The math ones seem confusing. All in all I enjoy it, I just hope it is helping my brain.

I really enjoy the thorough quality checking that NeuroNation provides with its content. I feel that there is good explanation and reasoning within NeuroNation . NeuroNation covers many aspects of cognition and conditioning. Will continue to use it.

But sometimes the game does not respond the way it should
It tells you a selection is wrong even when it is correct
Like the color game
Color Green and the image is different and you choose the correct color -it says wrong

The instructions are understandable, the colors help me with recognition and the exercises are a learning experience that i enjoy. I liked the revised process over the previous ones that this app was using.

I’ve been spending a few minutes each day on NeuroNation and I must say it is improving my memory and increasing my focus at work. Can’t say enough good things about this!

NeuroNation doesn't just make you smarter, it also keeps you busy. I HIGHLY recommend it for also children or those who need to keep their brain in check. Just make sure that you keep up with NeuroNation .

Love it. Explanations could be better but maybe it’s my problem since English is my second language. I just learn from my mistakes and keep going (fall seven times get up eight)

I find this app the perfect addition to my brain training routine. I use Elevate, Peak, and this app to challenge me daily and maintain speed, memory, and problem solving skills sharp.

I strongly recommend NeuroNation for any age.
