No sound and no product support

I purchased Sherlock last week. After I installed it I found that there was no sound after I launched the program despite sound being set at the highest setting. I sent an email to their website the same day. As of January 4 I have not heard from them.
Beautiful, but not an adventure game

At first play I was stunned by the amazing detail of graphics and voice over. The dossier and collected items are exquisite in their detail and manipulability. Wow!
But..... Then I proceeded to work through this "adventure".
And that's when it disappointed. It's not a game or an adventure. Finding the items in the pictures with the magnifying glass is lame as they highlight in yellow and you come to realize there is absolutely no purpose to it. There is no "point" to this other than simply enjoy a digital book that adds an exercise of collecting things that just wastes your time. I guess it's all about expectations- this app should not be billed as a game or adventure but simply an elaborate digital book.
