As a Brazilian living abroad, I find Ubook a good source of books in Portuguese, especially the ones in psychology. It's good to have a library in Portuguese with me, on my phone, at a reasonable price. The audiobooks collection in Portuguese is also pretty extensive.
I couldn't find page numbers in the books I want to read, and I don't know if it is just me or if Ubook doesn't provide that info. It would be important to know the length of the book before start reading it.

Couldn’t register
It is extremely difficult to subscribe. I’ve tried everything and got a succession of bad user/password (while already logged in) on top of an endless maze of never finding how to subscribe. I’ve tried using both the iTunes subscription and the mobile. I also tried going to the website. Only after about 15 minutes I found some small letters on the bottom of a screen of Ubook to click and subscribe.
In addition, I couldn’t find after 10 minutes of attempts how to change the marketplace.

It’s growing
Ubook is good and its library has a numerous amount of books and now has readable content too. Great! However it lacks in a sleeker design more oriented to usability. One example: go back a few seconds from the locked screen. Current controls only allow you to go back a whole chapter.

Cancelei minha subscription, mas não recebi meu dinheiro
Canselei minha subscription mas não recebi meu dinheiro de volta, usava esse app. Pagava todo o mês de repente fui cobrado uma parcela anual, logo que vi cancelei mas eles não me devolveram o dinheiro. Agora não tenho o dinheiro e nem minha inscrição ativa... Ajudem pós o app em si é muito bom merece 5 estrelas

PÉSSIMO aplicativo! Não consigo ouvir NADA e pago pela assinatura Pro, fora o suporte que diz que é "especialista em ouvir", mas ignora os teus clamores e não responde tuas indagações. NÃO RECOMENDO!

Problemas para aprovar a assinatura
O conteúdo me pareceu muito bom, entretanto estou com problemas para o reconhecimento de minha assinatura desde o primeiro dia.
A loja da Apple através do site, informa que minha assinatura esta normal, entretanto o meu perfil no aplicativo aparece como não assinante embora alguns conteúdos estejam disponíveis .
Ou seja .. Paguei pelo recurso de assinante mas não tenho de maneira integral !

Não vivo sem
this app é uma grata surpresa, já que é o único neste formato (assinatura) em português. Além do mais é ilimitado, coisa que os serviços em inglês que eu assino (audible e scribd) não têm. Neles você tem direito a um ou dois livros por mês .
Espero que a seleção continue crescendo - como têm , recentemente com as inclusões das revistas Veja e Exame.
Como sugestão de melhora a parte de estatística pode se beneficiar de alguns upgrades, pelo menos para podermos marcar livros "já lidos", embora outros dados também sejam interessantes.

O acervo é muito bom, gostei da ideia. Mas falando do aplicativo: adicionem a opção de baixar todos os capítulos e resolvam o bug de voltar ao começo do capítulo quando a reprodução é interrompida.

Vale a proposta, mas volto em alguns anos
Quando o Netflix chegou no Brasil, assinei imediatamente, mas cancelei depois do primeiro mês, pois o acervo era muito fraco, com pouco de interessante a se ver. Anos depois, voltei a assinar o serviço é sou fã, sendo que a TV a cabo quase não é mais assistida aqui em casa.
Pois o this app se chama de Netflix dos livros, e tem todo o potencial para ser. Porém, nesse início o acervo é muito pequeno e em boa parte composto de obras clássicas e de domínio público. Por hora, vou desinstalar o aplicativo, mas fico de olho no crescimento do acervo para assinar o serviço no futuro.
