Looked up a State Park and could not link to the park-just froze

Website directed me here for maps, can’t find anything useful in MarylandAccessDNR . Would like to see bike trails, both off road and on road but ability to toggle types of biking trails or roads.

Took my DNR ID number directly off my license issued by the state of Maryland and MarylandAccessDNR says that the number is not valid. Frustrating!

Every word and sentence is on top of one another. I don’t know how else to describe it. MarylandAccessDNR is unusable.

No maps, no way to get to them. Interactive maps button returns you to the website. Useless.

Can’t select the white tail option but can select everything else.....sizing is off because it cuts off the whole top where the time is too.

Very little use, particularly compared to VA and PA apps. No electronic license, no offline regulations, etc

You can’t select white tail deer or anything at the top of the screen due to the sizing of MarylandAccessDNR and menu layout. Worked great past several seasons but now is rendered almost useless.

What a waste. If MarylandAccessDNR is just a fancy “front door” to the website with a worse browser.

Save the headache and space and just bookmark the website

A pet peeve of mine is phone apps that regurgitate a website. MarylandAccessDNR hits close to that mark. Otherwise, I've found it's ability to provide the info it offers the user varies between inconsistent and incomplete.
Net: not a big value-add.

I needed to use the game check 30 min after I downloaded it. When setting up the hunter profile it froze at the DNRID screen three times before I gave up and used the game check telephone number. The other features seem helpful, though i have not used them.

It would be nice to be able to see your complete Compass website info - I checked in said game only to press a button during the confirmation number reading and missed it.

Another bug. I got my profile set up eventually (connected to wifi at this point) and was looking at the game check process. I backed out. There was a reminder that a game check was in progress (nice feature), but I could not cancel it as the command would freeze at this point. I could back out and still use MarylandAccessDNR .

Three stars based on tremendous potential, but i haven't been able to use it the way I need it.

I enjoy MarylandAccessDNR for what it is, a nice directory of places to fish or to hunt and good identifications for different fish species and legal limits and the like.

What it needs is the ability to store your fishing license/hunting permit in MarylandAccessDNR , ending the need to carry a paper copy with you, and the ability to renew said permits and licenses right from MarylandAccessDNR .

Guys, gals - make this happen.

When I first downloaded MarylandAccessDNR on my iPod 4, it was an encyclopedia about all the wildlife in the different regions of Maryland. It’s now a directory for activities and hunting seasons.

So easy to check in your big game!!

When you search maryland dnr or even maryland state parks you can not find MarylandAccessDNR. The only way to find it is the link through the state site. This seems very counterproductive to me as a maryland resident who uses the parks and would love to share information about them with friends or family.

I find it to be a pretty handy app. Has a lot of information you can use and it makes it easy to report a harvest. It would be great if there was a FHFH location find, but other that that it is good.

MarylandAccessDNR is a great way to explore Maryland's State Parks and waterways. I especially like the 'Near Me' feature that let's me choose an activity, then figure where to go to make it happen. Also, the Harvest Check-in feature will save me a ton of time the next time I go hunting.
