4.2 out of 5

Poor support

2022-05-22

I am trying to delete account. There is no link that works for app support. I haven’t found Tocomail helpful

Disappointed

2022-06-23

Great concept, I was hopeful based on reviews. Interface very confusing as you have sent and received messages in the same box. Hard for a seven-year-old who is new to email to use the product. Not sure what the concept was including both in the same box, but as an adult I find it very confusing

Very mediocre

2022-07-24

Not much point to it as the kids find it difficult to use.

I tried to cancel my subscription but it does not show up under my Apple subscriptions. Please could someone from Tocomail enlighten me as to how I can cancel it?

Thanks

Keeps billing after unsubscribing

Not only does this app make it difficult to unsubscribe, but they keep billing you after. The customer service is non existent. I wish I could give 0 stars

Good app

You need to have a longer time on the video maker

Could use improvement in functionality

2022-10-27

I never posted a review before, but I’m hopeful this will show up on the Toco radar! I love the general design and layout and most of the functions. But it doesn’t feel easy to navigate as a parent with children. In order to “log in” it takes me to the log in screen with no option to “Remember Me”...I have to sign back in every time. Then it doesn’t take me to my view, it takes me to my child’s and I have to then back out to family chat. One additional thing that would be very helpful would be the availability to attach and send files such as music. Ultimately, I want to keep using it I would just like to see the layout and functionality enhanced and cleaned up a bit.

Not that easy to use

2022-11-28

Not exactly intuitive controls for parents, but at least it’s kid-friendly.

Good Email but Bad App

2022-12-29

This email is great for monitoring kid’s emails, but the touch on the Mailbox screen is off. For example, if I try to tap an email it will select the one below it. This makes me have to click above the email I want every time. Very frustrating. Please fix.

I reinstalled Tocomail like you suggested and this fixed the problem. Thank you!

Happy

I'm really happy with this ap so far. My 6-year-old is getting into it. Could be a little more user friendly. I can't figure out how to delete read messages, and having them all in the inbox is confusing to my son. I look forward to future improvements for this great ap!

Great App!

2023-03-03

Tocomail is a wonderful learning tool and a great way to communicate with my daughter. I love that she can either send a message almost like a text as well as in email format. Tocomail is user friendly for both the parents and children and I love that I can choose who she can email and I get alerts when she gets a new one. Also this is a good tool to communicate while I'm at work and she is with the babysitter. I really don't want to get her a cell phone with the ability to call, text, and go online not knowing what she could be doing so having Tocomail on her tablet where I can monitor everything is amazing!

So cool

Pros and Cons

2023-06-03

Hi,
I love Tocomail and my parents do too. It is an amazing app and I love using it to email my friends and family! Also, it doesn’t ever bill my mom! Awesome!! Thanks! Only three issues: say one of my friends or relatives use Gmail: they can only see my email and a giant S initial. Why is this? I’d like them to see my profile picture and first name. The second issue: I have to log in every single time I open up Tocomail . I recently read a review by Lilith Sternin and you replied to that person the possibility of Touch ID? Well for some reason I don’t get that. It might just be a problem with my server or something. The last issue: I can’t send videos. Why is this? Sometimes I like to send them like my family members can do in Gmail and Yahoo and DuckDuckGo; stuff like that.
Please fix these problems and I will give it a 5 star rating! Everything else is perfect, by the way. Love it except for those three problems. Thanks for creating this wonderful app!!

Edited: For some reason, it stopped working and said I didn’t have any emails, even though the day before I had probably more than 300. Please fix this!
Edited again: if this ever happens, you should delete Tocomail and download it again. It works very well. Thank you!

Great!

App good and bad

Tocomail has everything and is creative but needs a iTunes card to send email monthly or yearly

Works great for my two kids

2023-11-08

We are using this service for three years. Absolutely love it. It has non-intrusive parental controls and it is a lot of fun for kids.

I am really happy with Tocomail, they keep making awesome updates, I have been using Tocomail for 5+ years and haven’t had a problem. The premium features are great too!

Perfect for kids with two homes

2024-01-10

As a newly separated single parent with full custody, my child can safely communicate with her biological noncustodial father while I am able to screen all email content. Absolutely worth $30 for the year.

Training wheels for texting

Love Tocomail. It’s like training wheels for pre teens to learn responsible texting

Love Tocomail!

2025-01-17

My 6 & 8 year old boys both love this app. They email their grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles several times a week now and are always excited for their replies. I like that you can draw and send pictures as well as video clips so younger kids can use it.

One of my favorite features is that I control the list of approved email addresses. If they get emails from an address not on the list it gets quarantined until I approve it. The same is true if they try to send to an unapproved address.

Fun, yet Responsible, email for kids

2025-01-17

I am so glad I found this app. As a military family, we move a lot. this app allows my son to keep in touch with friends but in a safe and responsible manner. The emails to parents and quarantines are great safety measures which allow me (the parent) to track what he receives, especially if the email is not from a trusted source. Wish we had something similar for adults so I don't have to deal with missed junk mail. ;)
