Some of the things I hate about this app... It makes updating work orders extremely time consuming. The "home" screen is useless without the ability to search it or at least put in the ability to sort by location.
I update/close about 15-20 work orders on an average day and spend about an hour at least fumbling around their interface. Just not intuitive and extremely outdated . No batch updating. Can't customize what you see. On to SchoolDude ... NO BACK BUTTON FOR THE BROWSER! This means as soon as I locate the one work order out of 200 in my team queue and make my notes and close it.. I have to start over right at the beginning. You might as well just use safari because SchoolDude just slows you down even more. A work order system should not make you less efficient. You guys really need to update this antiquated system.

SchoolDude is always having issues but yet in the 3 years I’ve had it there has yet to be any kind of update. There is still no iPhone X version which cuts the screen display way down. My school system will probably be changing soon. You think with only having 1.5 stars they would be trying to do something to fix that.

I’ve been using school dude for six years and their app for four or five years. During this time SchoolDude has stayed the same, there have been no significant upgrades or improvements. SchoolDude is essentially a slower version of their website. For those looking into operations management software, do yourself a favor, cross this app off of your list.

We have it for the help desk feature, temporarily I hope because the web version is so slow and difficult to use. SchoolDude though doesn’t function at all. It gives some exception error and doesn’t do anything. It appears they have abandoned SchoolDude , no doubt their best talent has long since left.

After the last update the notification list screen ( the list screen for SchoolDude ) doesn’t sync anymore. You have to go to Maintenance direct to see your work orders and you your better off using your laptop for that list which makes SchoolDude pretty much useless.

I'm sure they're making a fortune off our companies for this product. At least make SchoolDude mobile friendly. I use Maintenance Direct and it's pretty much an access to the website. It's hardly an app. Only reason I use it? Who uses a desktop anymore! Make SchoolDude user friendly please.

As the title says 3 yrs ago they did a update. If you have any type of modern phone forget about this running. Have uninstalled, reinstalled, force quit and restarted multiple times and never actually works. And even if you are lucky enough for it to work it still runs like hot garbage.

Takes forever to load. Exactly the same as the desktop version. Using chrome or safari is a better choice than this.

SchoolDude doesn't even load. Just keeps spinning, but nothing happens.
Their online web browser version is better by leaps and bounds. Not sure why they have a mobile app if they don't test it before release.

Unreal how long it takes SchoolDude to refresh when you save or make a change. I have used SchoolDude on my IPad at work, at home and on 4G built in to this iPad and it's so slow. We have purchased 30+ new iPads all with 4G and it's slow on all of them. PLEASE FIX YOUR LAGGY APP!

Just like the web based version, school dude is a clunky clumsy system. SchoolDude just crashes on login. Having used school dude for 7 years, SchoolDude is exactly what I expect. Don't know why my district still uses this product.

If school dude stops working on your iPad, update you iOS and apps. Delete school dude and reinstall it. It should work ok now, mine is back to normal. Hope this helps.

I have used SchoolDude for fsdirect, maintenance direct and inventory with no issues. The interface basically duplicates the web site however access is quicker for me. I also like the notifications when there are requests pending approval. I wouldn't mind an update to make the interface more "phone friendly" however I've had none of the issues mentioned in the reviews I read like slowness and I also do not find any of their products to be clumsy.
