I can’t tell if it is a Scam or Deficient programming but I paid to remove adds yet I still have them and they want let you get out of them. I continually try watching 10 second videos and it will play a couple videos then an add will pop up on your screen and not allow you to X out of it as your tv starts blaring what ever program you had it on before you started TVAssist . At the same time on your phone you have to watch the whole advertisement as you continually try to X out of it anywhere from 5 to 15 times then it automatically re-directs you to TVAssist Store to download or buy the advertised app and you can’t go back to the TV Assist app so you have to cancel then start all over by clinking on TVAssist you’ve already paid for.
If you use TVAssist don’t bother paying to remove adds and steer away from anyone that has been on TVAssist that may be mentally unstable.

After downloading 5 or 6 of these TV casting apps and all of them not working with my stupid Samsung SmartTV, I was all but given up hope. This was a complete surprise that TVAssist really works. The ads are annoying and there is no option to hide the file name at the beginning of each picture, but for free I cannot complain too much. Maybe after a month of use and it doesn’t annoy me too much, I might fork out the money and actually pay for TVAssist. Which is saying a lot from this cheapskate —> me.

Free version is useless. You cannot do anything from the ads popping up right and left. When it figures that you cannot take it any more it asks if you want to pay so that you don't have the ads. You say sure, here you go. Unfortunately ads don’t go away, and you have to keep “restoring the purchase” hoping that you will finally do what you paid for. Wishfull thinking. Forget what you paid and move in. Do not waste your time. The only reason this has the four star rating is that every time you tap on something they flash this request to give it a five star rating. I cannot
believe that this is being sold in TVAssist store.

The first couple of reviews I read said that TVAssist was”trash” and that I should not get it. However, TVAssist had 4 stars so I decided to give it a try and that was the best idea ever. I can know not only stream music, picture, and videos to my tv, but I can also set custom backgrounds on things like my Xbox as well!!! Overall TVAssist worked like a charm and I would recommend TVAssist to anyone reading it.

I downloaded this because my mom really wanted to see a new movie so I went to the web feature to go on one of those free movie websites, and it wasn't the website because I've used it before. Besides the point, it didn't even work! It said that it was playing but my T.V want doing anything! I wasted all this storage, my time, and my moms time trying to figure out how this piece of trash works! Now I have to come up with a way to repay my mom because I was taking up an HOUR of her time telling her, "Oh, It's almost done,the suprise is almost done" Ugh. This really is the biggest waste of time.

TVAssist is an Awesome app! If you want to bring your videos to life I highly recommend using it! I video my hunting and my wife and daughter see a whole new part of my hunts! They see the wildlife and everything on my phone on a 65” big screen TV ! Take about Amazing! Your in for a real treat! No joking here! It’s Awesome! Try it and tell me I’m wrong! It worked perfectly fine for the first few hours, but after those first initial hours; ads kept on showing up, stopping my music mid-play of my game or just sitting there listening to it. I was super happy to have found something to connect and play on my Xbox. I have multiple speakers and earbuds, but something about playing my game and having access to it just right there was cool. Now TVAssist is useless and cannot and will not play music for anything. Something needs to be fixed. Wish I could give a better review:(( had high hopes

I have been using this application for almost 2 years now it’s magnificent as long as any TV is connected to Wi-Fi you can play anything on it you don’t need to carry your Apple TV with you all the time it’s really great the only problem or the minor problem with it doesn’t support some players on a few websites

I downloaded TVAssist and paid the music charge. TVAssist only recognized a third of the mp3 files I have on my Ipad & Iphone. I requested assistance and for a while they were responding. Now it looks like they have considered my emails spam because I get temporary failure notices for the last two weeks, after they asked for an mp3 file that was not registering on TVAssist that is on my Ipad/Iphone. there has to be an app out there where I can listen to my music on my home entertainment system from my Ipad/Iphone. So far, can't find it and won't be using TVAssist.

It’s really lots to me that only TVAssist can work with my iphone and my sony brabia tv KDL-W750D ..I even try to and wasted my time with sony official apps which never connect with my phone and tv..Thank you so very much for such a great hard job on this wonderful working Apps and keep it up wish you all the best

Finally after many fake apps I've tried in app store it worked well! I remember when steve jobs p.b.u.h was alive there wasn't single fake app in here! Anyways still one thing is missing on it when you wanna mirror a movie with subtitle still you cant because Tv assist doesn't support .srt and ....

Ok so I’m here at night and I’m bored while playing my Xbox, and I’m thinking too myself “is there anyway I can stream my music on to my Xbox?” So I found TVAssist and it was a big mistake. Apparently the music needs to be owned and you can’t play that music that you have from Apple Music or other files. You need to own the song in order to play it on TVAssist. It is beyond ridiculous the fact that you can’t play that music on TVAssist. A complete Outrage!!

I can cast whatever media I want to my XB1X with relatively few problems. If you are having problems casting music to your Xbox try a hard restart. At first casting music was a bit of a process but after awhile things configured and it’s now smooth sailing. TVAssist is a godsend!

Have tried multiple apps for my Samsung and this one works the best for photos and videos. Love that it gives the option to change the size and quality of the pictures. Also so great that it converts videos so they will play.

TVAssist will show photos from iPad to TV. That's it.

However, even after ticking the "stop playing on quit" button in settings... the last photo displayed from the iPad still shows on the TV after quitting TVAssist ." This is running through our modern Dish console. We had to quit the Dish console and restart it to "erase" the photo.

TVAssist does not display photos in a folder as a slideshow, although the UI implies that it will. TVAssist will not play any movies or any music that are already on the iPad.

I paid for TVAssist to play unlimited photos. But after upgrading to the latest version, it is asking me to pay again. I am surprised to have such illegitimate issues in this day and age.

I bought TVAssist so i would not get interrupted by ads. I am still getting the ads and they happen to be difficult to close. They interrupt the slideshows a random intervals on there seems to be no way to get back to the slideshow. Also, the instructions for set up are dismal and it took a while to get the whole thing running with my Sharp Aquos TV.

I’ve been using TVAssist for a few years now, and has always been my go-to to stream music to my TV. Today I discovered that the Apple Watch interferes with it. If the raise-to-wake feature on the watch is activated while TVAssist is in use, it will stop all streaming to your device. That’s the only issue I have with it right.

I think this is the first review I’ve ever left, so here goes.

TVAssist does show pictures and videos projected from your phone to your tv, however, it also runs ads directly before or after any and EVERY picture or video you try to play and some of the ads DO NOT have x’s on them that you could press to cancel out so you literally have to shut TVAssist down and re-open. It’s basically what I would expect the 9th circle of Dante’s inferno to be.

I purchased TVAssist to display my photos on my three year old Samsung tv. I’m quite pleased but have one major problem. Seems every minute or two it drops the connection with the tv and I have to go in and restart it. Very frustrating.

Can somebody offer a solution to this problem?

Easy-to-use media utility. All in one video manager. I was having trouble finding a program to play downloaded movies on my lg oled tv from my iPhone until I came across this baby! I love it because it’s not rocket science and it works(worked for me)

This is the first one to actually work. Looking at many of the reviews, it appears that the earlier versions may not have worked as well. So far, this is doing what it says it does.
