Despite updating the app and my phone and even un-installing/re-installing, this app continues to give me “crash” reports. There have been several times in which it fails to go off. Then in the morning when I open the app to see what the issue was, then it decides to go off in that exact moment (which is several hours past the time the alarm is set for) so I make sure I check it every morning, otherwise if I forget to do so before I leave, whenever it randomly sounds then, I’d have no way to turn the alarms off because I wouldn’t have the barcoded item with me to scan. Which left me with absolutely NO option but to have to turn (and leave) my phone completely off as that was the only way to “disable” the constant alarm noise on my phone. (Unlike my other app, if the alarm got missed, it would still show it is set but it lets me turn it off without triggering it to ala first). Obviously turning my phone off was inconvenient and aggravating because it meant missing calls too and not being able to use other apps. As if this wasn’t enough frustration, the app crashed again last night and apparently over rode everything else on my phone again as my other alarm clock app didn’t sound either but the most aggravating was that this app somehow turned my phone completely off!! Making me oversleep by a few hours and missed taking a critical medication at the correct time.

Has only worked three times out of the past six days I’ve been using it. When it does work, it works wonderfully and I get up and going much quicker than I ever have. However, with only a 50% chance of my alarm going off in the morning, I just can’t trust it to do its job :( The app is constantly crashing in background mode. When it crashes, the alarm doesn’t go off until you open the app manually. Often hours after I was supposed to wake up.

Please keep working on it! Or release a simple barcode scanner alarm clock device, a dumbphone of sorts, that won’t constantly fail to go off at the right time. It is so sooo helpful when it works. I’m genuinely sad that I need to go find something else that is more reliable:(

Been using this app for a couple weeks. I like the idea and it’s definitely helped me get up, but there are issues. Most significantly, I am getting 5, 10 or more “crash notifications” every day, with a confusing message about background mode. One morning this all happened in the night, so the alarm either didn’t go off or went off so quietly that it didn’t wake me up. Also, this morning, the window on the screen where you scan the barcode was misshapen and off in the corner, and I couldn’t get it to scan.

Overall it feels a bit amateurish in its design and functionality. Hate to say it because it’s a helpful tool, but the app needs work.
