Radium for Internet Radio Reviews

I'll give it 4star only because it has no record or fast forward buttons and it would be nice to see a car mode like Tunein I would gladly pay .99 for xtras I love the interface but please update player locks up a lot

I like Radium . It’s clean and simple. It has just the electronica I was looking for. I use it daily.

But it’s very intolerant of the network connection changing from cellular to WiFi & vice versa, or changing from one WiFi network to another, or weak WiFi. Under these and similar circumstances, playback just stops, and you have to manually start it playing again.

Other streaming apps don’t have this problem. Presumably they buffer enough to keep playing while the connection heals itself.

i was using the mac app before the chocolate icon and it was terrific!!!
i was able to tune in stations of buenos aires i was listenin while i was a child. re discovered radio america and its amazin commercials. along with tons of stations from my country, argentina.
now, well theres no radio station to listen to, no really, in my country you cant connect to no buenos aires radio. theres nothing worthy for me besides news radio stations, and that my fellas is DEAD no radio in this app!
hope you could fix it, but seeing the direction you took the updated mac version i can only wait for Radium to die, and get banned from the appstore as afterpulse was ( wich in fact revived with a different house of programmers) i cant even listen to the official national radio broadcast!!!
i would love to see the mac app with the drop-down list of stations like before.
i would love to listen radios from buenos aires like i used to.
but the thruth is: this app is dead!

I bought the first version of this app ever, and have been using it ever since. This will definitely replace many radio apps I have tried on my iPhone. And cat pig studios is awesome. Anytime I've had a question the customer service is the best.
The only issue is it seems to drop streams. I'm sure it's a network issue. But with tunein they let me pick a buffer amount and I never have that problem

I am loving Radium! My radio stations are coming very clear, the search feature is easy to use and add to favorites. I am a blind user and am using Radium on my iPhone 6. Voice Over speaks all elements and all buttons are clearly labeled. I recommend Radium for anyone looking for a great and easy way to listen to radio stations! Trish in TX

I use Radium nearly every day and do like it...

One annoyance is for some time now when running Radium it reports that it may slow down my iPhone and that "The developer of Radium needs to update it to improve compatibility."

It's reported this for a few months now but the developer apparently hasn't gotten around to doing anything about it. It leaves me wondering if Radium is being abandoned...

This is by far the best looking radio app I have ever used. Unfortunately it sometimes does not play the station and I have to force quit Radium and reopen it for the station to play. The Mac version has a lot of weird bugs too where multiple instance will load and similar issue that i’m having with ios. I am on ios 11 and os x el capitan. otherwise this would be a 5 star app. i will try to revise this to 5 stat if fixes come.

Been using Radium on my phone and my Mac for years and there is no other radio app that could compare or getting close. Love that it shows me song covers (not just artist title) and the way it work with colors from covers. Thanks

I still use it everyday but I'm now getting messages from Apple saying Radium needs to be updated by the developer because it is slowing my phone. I'm willing to pay for an update. Please don't abandon the best radio app available. And keep the SuriusXM availability.

I have tried as many apps as I could find to stream internet radio when driving. This is by far the best, great clean elegant interface, virtually no problems with buffering and just overall works great. Highly recommended.

I love Radium and I can't believe I just found it! It's simple interface mirrors the macOS version. Adding favorite stations is super easy. No ads (so far...?) ... Listening to real stations all over the world. I hope it's still in development... fingers crossed! Bravo!

There are any number of apps that will play terrestrial and Internet radio but this app's design stands out. It just looks beautiful as the color schemes change with the album covers. For those with Macs, your station lists can sync with the accompanying Mac app.

Beautiful application. Works perfectly for all of my favorite radio streams. I'm leaving a review because I've happily used Radium for years and I was shocked to see how few reviews there are for this app. Apple needs to feature Radium!

It's on my home screen and will stay there. Quality app for both iOS and the Mac. Use it all the time and it's perfect for streaming SiriousXM radio. Support replies quick as well. Highly recommend!

don't buy this if you're on ios 10. it will not work. i actually used to love Radium. it was very easy to use; however, Radium has not received an update in over 2 years. Like many users, i have bought Radium and the in app purchases thinking that Radium would be around for while. if you haven't updated past iOS 9, then i'd recommend this over tunein radio and iheartradio

I don't listen to a lot of internet radio, but when I do, I use this app. It's got a great interface that is easy to use, and it links up with my Mac. However, it's now in that category of apps that may not work for much longer. I do hope the developers release a new version to work with future versions of iOS.

Still not updated for 4.7 and 5.5 inches screens. Low resolution and stretched screen looks bad and can't make use of bigger screen area. Still the best, but not perfect as the title suggests.

Audio tends to fail when switching back to this app from the background.

Audio fails to play after Bluetooth connection or disconnect and requires Radium to restart.

This program really is a treat to use but if these issues can be resolved I'd give it five stars.

This was the one app I thought lost to iOS 11 that was making me think of never upgrading. I use it daily and am so grateful that you have extended its life!

It used to be this was a great app to find all my favorite radio stations in one place. Now they’re unavailable and I need multiple different applications to listen to local radio stations streaming from my mobile device when I’m not at my car.

Truly a disappointment given the state of streaming audio on the web these days...
