Junk Game Doesn’t Work

I’ve written a previous review regarding my frustration with the glitches where it won’t let you move past a level. Only after I submitted my review did I notice that almost everyone else is experiencing the same glitch issues. Their support team seems to never communicate or respond to anyone.

I really want to love this game. It is a lot of fun. But I’m so tired of the glitches that I almost feel like just deleting it. It’s not worth it. At this point I have completed 79 levels…but once again…you guessed it…stuck on level 79 which just cycles through rooms I’ve already completed. All in all I think I’ve had the same glitch issues (where it won’t move to the next level and just repeats finished levels) maybe about 6 times or more. Each time that has happened, I check Decolore Store to update the game to “fix the bugs”…and it maybe works for about 5 levels and then stuck repeating again. And there’s not always an update available…so you’re just stuck out of luck.

Like I said, I really want to love this game. But if you read this review before downloading it…just move on. Don’t bother downloading this piece of junk. These developer yahoos have no idea what they are doing and don’t deserve any accolades for a broken game that doesn’t work and that they can’t seem to fix properly. What a piece of junk and waste of time!

I want to love this game

I want to love this game more than anything but it’s extremely frustrating and hard to play when with the current “lifes” feature. It’s not fair that I just placed 100+ items and am 1 or 2 away from completing the puzzle but I just lost 3 lives because your app is so sensitive to where you put items especially bigger items like floors, foundations and walls. I’m putting them in the right spot but if where I drop it doesn’t match up exactly with what the game wants, I lose lives. Either give an option to buy unlimited lives forever or fix this issue. Honestly it should already be included with the no ads pack. Other than that, this game is great. Bummed about the life’s because I can tell I would really enjoy this game long term.

Editing to add that there has been 4 released “bug fix” updates since the bug with missing pieces has been in the game and NOT A SINGLE UPDATE HAS FIXED THIS

Great game … except…

I love the graphics… I love the play… would love to pay for the ad free version… but… after reading the reviews Im not so sure. Do not want to get stuck on a level that you can’t get past… and to be honest… right now… the game only shoes 19 levels. The sensitivity level is a big drawback… it does seem to sometimes just decide I have placed the item… when I have not. 3 lives seem a bit small… 5 would be nice … getting only 1 life after watching an ad seems a little to little

And I HATE the bomb…. I don’t want to feel rushed and have to beat a time to play this game… I play it to relax… not rush… no compete … simply to relax. There needs to be an option to disable the bomb… even pay a small fee… watch an ad or two… or skip it. This bomb will be the reason I don’t pay anything for this game… the bomb seems to go completely against the premise of this game!

Issues with levels

I would love to give this game 5 stars because it’s super relaxing and i thoroughly enjoy it. However, i got to level 110 or so and it started replaying previous levels, closed it out and reopened it same issue.. checked here it needed an update fine no big deal. Updated it continued on—then i get to 162 levels and it starts doing it again and wouldn’t move onto something new so i deleted and reinstalled. It doesn’t have a save so i had to start all the way over. No biggy i like it enough to just redo it. Then i get to level 109 and guess what it’s replaying the same levels again. I don’t want to start over again so if i uninstall it it will be for forever. I don’t know how to fix this issue since it doesn’t need another update. Unless this bug is fixed i will probably just delete anyway.

Ty.

Close to perfect.

This game is very enjoyable, and overall, a great way to pass time. That being said, i have one major issue with this game that makes it hard to enjoy to its fullest extent. The objects have to be almost PERFECTLY aligned with their grey counterpart, to the point it becomes almost impossible. I’ve found myself placing an object almost perfectly, sms still loosing a heart just because it’s slightly off. This makes an otherwise amazing game completely aggravating, something that would be frustrating anyway, but it’s 100x worse when you see this game is advertised as “relaxing”. If this one thing were to be fixed, just by broadening the acceptance zone by a little, this game would be perfect in my book.

Needs Changes

This is a wonderful game but very, very frustrating. If a few minor changes were made it would be a five star review as far as I’m concerned. There are some, like me, who prefer this type of game at a leisurely pace. When you reach the levels that have a timer but it has at least 100 pieces or more, you continually run out of time so it is highly unlikely you can progress to the next level. If there was an option to have a self paced puzzle as opposed to being in a competition or in a timed area, then it would be the tops. Because of this, however, I am deleting the game. I have tried to pass this latest puzzle numerous times so I’m now giving up.

Placement Issues make it frustrating to play

I’m thoroughly enjoying this game other then when placement is off by millimeters and I lose a heart. Most of the time, it’s the correct piece and will eventually go where I’m trying to place it, but after several restarts. Which is extremely frustrating. I have done some levels six or seven times just because a wall or whatever is being finicky. If it was incorrect, that would be one thing but that’s not what is happening here. It would be such a fun and relaxing game otherwise.

Cute and fun but…

I love games like this!! It’s got such a cute look to it and feel. I love the puzzle and looking for the pieces. My only complaint is the fact that you only have three lives per round. I understand the wanting to make it challenging but it’s just plain annoying. Sometimes the pieces that are supposed to go there make me loose a life if I place it wrong even slightly. Sometimes it takes away a life even if it’s not wrong. I loved this game at first but it’s just plain annoying and horrible now. Don’t change anything but the lives. Cute and fun game otherwise!!

Good game

This is a good game. Can be challenging at times to get some of the pieces lined up just right. Having lives on this game is kinda ridiculous. That being said I’m stuck on a level where there are two drawers you have to place that are behind a counter and no mater how I angle the picture or how I line up the drawers they just won’t go. I’m not going to continue to watch ads to get one life just to not be able to get the drawers in place. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. Some things need to be better defined image wise.

A little disappointed

I am on level 43 and I ran into an issue. I got the whole puzzle done, but two pieces that were not in the bottom tray. I uninstalled and reinstalled it to see if it was just a glitch, but no, the two pieces were still not there. The missing objects are a hammer and a wet wipe package. The puzzle setting is like a vet hospital. Please fix this issue!!!! That is the only reason why I gave this game a 4-star rating. Other than that, I absolutely love this game.

Love! but wish we had options

I love this game. I downloaded it as a way to relax and it reminds me of another game called Loona that I use to play but was way too expensive. The only thing I would request is the ability to turn off the timed ones. I don’t want to be timed…. It is not very relaxing. Now will I stop playing, no, but it can be very frustrating especially on some levels that have a lot of things to cover and very little time.

Enjoyable

I’ve been enjoying Decolore except for when there is a timer on hard levels. Then instead of enjoying I’m rushed to try to finish it and get frustrated with it. I also don’t like the lives for the simple fact that the pieces don’t always click into place so you have to try 2 or 3 times to get it to go and each try cost you a life (you only get 3). It would be nice to have an option to switch the lives and timer off so you can play all levels at a relaxed pace. I would recommend this game but be aware of the above items.

So fun, however...

First I love this game, the concept is fun, I love puzzles and the animation is absolutely fantastic, and the ads don't interrupt you in the middle of levels. However it can be so sensitive with placement. I am on level 17, and I have had the worst time with putting the wall up. I have lined it up exactly where it go repeatedly and it takes away a heart every time. So I have lost the level several times because it will not line up correctly. So this has caused quite a bit of frustration!
Otherwise I love it, thanks!

Great game, BUT…

This is a great game if a few of the issues would be addressed!

1. While sliding an object to its’ correct placement, my finger slips off the object and I lose a heart.
2. Some objects like wheels are almost identical, but if you place it on the left and it belongs on the right, you lose another heart!
3. At least 5 hearts should be given at the start of the game! 3 isn’t enough and constantly watching 60 second ads to earn a life is frustrating!
4. There should be an easier way to earn items like hints, extra lives, and anything helpful to complete a picture!

I would have given it 5 stars if not for these issues. That said, great game, beautiful music, graphics are amazing and mostly it’s relaxing. Please keep improving this game!

**When games get too many ads or become frustrating! That’s when I decide to delete Decolore ! I hope it doesn’t come to that!**

Almost Perfect!

This game is one of the best decorating games out there since it doesn’t give you too many ads and the levels are pretty straightforward. They do have a life system, which can be frustrating to some, but I think it offers a fun challenge! The main issue I have is that there is so much stolen content from the game Unpacking. There are so many unique, original ideas in the game despite this, so it’s super disappointing to see at least one thing in each level from Unpacking :( Lean more into the original content for future levels and the game will earn that last star for sure!

Love this game, but…

Hi. I personally love this game, but wish it was just a bit easier in the way that it’s very hard to place the objects correctly, and if you don’t place them correctly, you lose a heart. The placement is just a bit flimsy at best and very frustrating at worst. I don’t like the fact that I could place the object right on top of where it’s supposed to be, but it ends up being two spaces off, and I lose a heart because it wasn’t exactly on point.
Game devs, please fix this. I love your game but if it ends up too frustrating for me, I will uninstall it.
(Sorry if this was really oddly worded. I just hope I got my message across).

Really like this game!

So I really like this game. Very unique and fun. I like that some levels are timed, some have the cute keys that you need to gather items, and some have hidden objects inside doors etc. My only complaint is that when you get to a certain point, there aren’t any new boards. They are repeat boards you’ve already done labeled as whatever new level you’re supposed to be on. Just don’t like repeating, and why label it a new level?

There was only one weird board that looked like it had an adult looking into a bathroom window at a child on the toilet…otherwise they have been super cute and detailed interior/exterior scenes.

Keep the new stuff coming please!

Phenomenal!!

I have never (not once) ever paid to have ads removed in a game - until I found this app.

I cannot believe how perfect this game is for decompressing. It’s exactly what I have been searching for in a game but have never been able to find.

By the way - the missing items feature was a great idea! For those of you who believe there is a glitch, you need to look for hidden objects inside the level. It’s not an app issue.

The designs are so simple but yet so beautiful and charming. The color palettes are amazing. I love all of the different contrasts. Side note : Kudos to the stranger things “nod” - that level was fantastic!

I don’t know what it is about this game that has me so mesmerized - it’s unexplainable. But I am able to just relax, zone out, and find an inner sense of calm. If you battle with anxiety, Decolore really does bring peace.

I do not want the levels to end. I just now started to see repeats at level 91 but came to Decolore Store and discovered an update (thank goodness 😅)!

Sadly, I know I’m nearing the end. This is the first actual review I have ever completed. I am writing this in hopes that the developer reads it and is aware of how much enjoyment the game brings to players.

Please continue to create levels. I know the number of ratings are not very high yet, but don’t let that be a deterrent from building more scenes. It just hasn’t caught enough attention yet, but I know it will grow rapidly.

I wouldn’t be here raving about Decolore, submitting this review, if it wasn’t worthy of receiving a recommendation.

For those of you who haven’t tried the game, I promise you will not regret downloading it.

If I can honestly say I have no regrets paying for the ad free version - then, trust me, it’s REALLY that good.

QUICK EXTRA THOUGHT:

Thank you for kind response. Please continue bringing the objects to life, making the lights and candles turn on, the fire burn in the campsite and fireplace, the food appear hot, doors opening to reveal other objects, butterflies flying, animals moving; the shadows flickering, the interactive elements play a HUGE part in making this game incredibly special and unlike absolutely NO other that exist.

Great game…BUT

This is a 5-star game when all glitches are fixed! Currently, Level 43 is missing 2 pieces , so can’t complete. (103 pieces instead of 105) Please fix, because I want to play! Tx, Ellie Update: Level 43 (Veterinarian Shop) is now Level 44 and is still missing 2 pieces, so still can’t complete and move on.

Update: Seems glitches are fixed, with fabulous results! So fun!
(Now we just need more puzzles…)

This game is awesome!!

I absolutely love these types of games. This one has been my absolute favorite game so far. It’s relaxing and the animations are so cute and detailed! I love the random challenge levels that are timed too. I am on level 46 and am already dreading the day I come to the last level 😩 please create an infinite amount of levels so I can play this game forever lol 🫶
