Sketchy right from the start with a full page low effort spam ad for “unlimited games”, then another junk ad, then on to asking for a selection for paid subscription, then straight to “enter your cc info, but we won’t charge you”. The entire vibe is off- it truly feels like one of those tourist trap markets that preys on gullible travelers, or like a guy selling pirated DVDs in a Walmart parking lot, or one of those fake “uber” drivers hanging around the baggage claim offering rides into the city. I’m actually creeped out by how untrustworthy Comet appears and deleting it.

How did this pass Apple Apple Store vetting? I stay in the Apple environment to keep away from apps like these that just show ads and are unsafe to access.

What a garbage trash it is. Apple immediately take it down for the safety of the users.

Comet is a scam; it wants to portray itself as Perplexity’s this app, and is nothing more than a scam to steal money from fake subscriptions!

Comet is not the official this app browser from Perplexity. Do not download or enter login information into this application.

I don’t know why I even tried this. It’s terrible and not user friendly or intelligent at all.

This scammer used the same name Perplexity AI announced for their AI browser. It’s an ads based app, probably gathering user information and passwords. Comet should be removed from the Apple App Store

Just charged money. Not able to log in. Think it is spam.

I already paid $200 to Perplexity for an annual account. But the iPad App won’t let me sign in, it wants another $7/month. Plus it’s full of misleading links to adware.

Do not confuse this ripoff with the desktop version of this app. It is so bad that I actually wondered whether it was a counterfeit.

This “browser” is basically an advertising portal, not withstanding its misleading claim to be 100% add-free. (Ads still appear on linked sites in its paid version.) When you open the browser, you have to wade through pages of links which you cannot edit.

Unlike the desktop version of the same name, you cannot import bookmarks from other browsers.

The AI capabilities are basically links to AI services, with no apparent integration of AI into it searches. Any complex search — anything more than a few word —simply freezes.

Above all, do not subscribe to the pro version. It does not deliver any of its claimed advantages. Apple should refund the subscription fees that suckers like me paid for it.

In my excitement to experience the Commet browser by perplexity, I downloaded this. Oops! I even paid for it. Oops again. Don’t waste your time. It has no relationship too Perplexity the AI company

Within 20 seconds I was bombarded with Ads and it launched several other Apps without asking.
Go back to the drawing board. I think AI got the best of you🤣

It opens up a tab in your browser and asks too many questions. The actual app took me to porn immediately. This should be removed from the store.

Wow. Horrible. Keeps showing ads. Keeps asking me if I like Comet when I haven't used it yet. Unclear how to start a search. When I finally got through all of that, it brought up the Google search page. Huh? It was satisfying to delete Comet . Never again.

This developer got ahead of Perplexity’s launch of the new this app browser. Comet asks for access to other apps, and requires creating an account. The scammer likely hopes to find users who use the same password with the associated email. Do not download, and definitely do not create an account.

Just use google or literally anything else. They literally copied perplexities launch of the this app with web browser on desktop also they just keep spamming ads everywhere and the privacy policy is kind of concerning on how they deal with your data and share it with so many third parties do not download this is actually trash

Easy to use simple

This is an amazing and dynamic AI Agent, Assistant, and Browser. Very fast and feature rich. Once you get the hang of it, it beats some of the other mainstream browsers!
