I had high hopes for Catchr to replace Fishbrain but Catchr won’t even let you USE it without a subscription like dang at this point I’ll catch my fish take a pic and long it into an album on my photos app at this point.

Big surprise they ask you to rate Catchr right before they let you know that of course it’s a subscription would not recommend you can literally just take pictures and use the Notes app on your phone for free. I would be cool with donations but a flat out subscription no.

Don’t buy it they make you pay for a free trial so you can’t use it without paying and I’ve reads the reviews and when the devs reply they give the same response by saying we offer financial aid to people but I don’t want financial aid I just wanna use the free version I just wanna name my fish please let me use it no pay I only want to use free version idc about the ai factor Fishbrain is better then Catchr

I hate what every app are doing now in days we are seeing news methods and easier ways to develop apps and websites but now that it is easier now it’s harder to develop? You guys do not need anymore money Catchr and other fishing apps I used to use to fish have now started selling their “pro” version just to make more money and Catchr is just trying to take money from you and I know that all of these reviews gotta be fake too because it honestly just a scam and developers are becoming greedier and greedier that they focus on making money and not worrying in you guy’s costumers

It gets the fish wrong a lot I can already identify fish so I just got Catchr for the cooler part where you can look at the fish you have caught in the past and name them. If your getting Catchr for the fish identification your better off using google.

I downloaded Catchr and it asked me to do the 7 day free trial didn’t let me skip it for a while then it did and bombarded me with “want a discount?” I couldn’t even get into the actual app still I like the overall idea of it

I was actually pretty excited to use this fishing app I saw on TikTok but then I go through all of the things you do before you use it and I HAVE TO PAY FOR PREMIUM like I don’t want to pay, I want to just use the free version. Please make a free version

Adding some new features like being able to swipe to see my other fish in the cooler would be a nice touch instead of having to manually click on the fish that I want. And Catchr uses 1 of my 3 camera on my iPhone 16 when taking pictures so the fish I take a photo of is always constantly out of frame and changing.

It keeps track how big and heavy the fish are

So amazing to look back at my old fish and the measurements are accurate

Really simple to use especially if you’re just now starting fishing

so much fun to have a place to collect my fish. now my friends finally believe me when i tell them my PBs!

This is the first app I’ve ever seen where the creators hopped into a discord call and asked people what they wanted added and way to fix it and there pumping out updates like no tomorrow I have a lot of faith in Catchr

Catchr is awesome! I scan a fish and it tells me it’s exact weight, even fish that I’ve already caught, and it’s extremely accurate.

You can’t use Catchr without paying a subscription

Why are you forcing me to pay a subscription for a all that takes pictures of fish?

The community around Catchr is legit! Developers are very involved every step of the way and it only gets better. So fun to keep track of my catches this summer, and at this rate Catchr should rip soon

I like Catchr alot, really! Community is very nice and it has a pretty good discord server with good people and nice tips! I like that the place where your fish pics are stored is called the cooler! I have great faith in Catchr

I haven’t had the ability to use Catchr just yet, but I do know that the creators are extremely active with there community and are working hard to improve Catchr .

Catchr is very fun and unique and the developers are very nice
