It isn’t an update to the old this app app. I’m not going to sign up with a new user and lose all of the courses I’ve done and notes I have taken over the years. Too bad. I was looking forward to the update.
When using WordGo on an iPad you can’t turn it sideways, to landscape, so you can use your keyboard or not get whiplash from constantly moving your eyes to the next line when reading. Also, the Bible study questions are kind of shallow, not very thought provoking.
I used to love the this app App. I find this new release a mess. I always chose my summer study from this app., while on my BSF break. Looks like I’ll be finding another platform. I tried to do a solo study but wasn’t given the choices or a menu to select from. I’m really disappointed.
The content is second to none. It makes Bible study portable, accessible, & easy for anyone who wants to study alone or in a group. I love this for staying in the Word over the summer between BSF studies. It’s a little less intuitive than I expected for navigating all of the functionality.
My wish list:
Allow it to function in landscape orientation for iPads.
Add ability to set dates for meetings and reschedule as needed.
Great app 5/5, but I really miss the insights that the old app brought to the table.
I have enjoyed this app for several years and was excited to hear about the new and updated app. I like some of the new features, such as having the daily Scripture reading, questions, and notes on the same page. However, I am unable to locate the insights for the questions that the former app had, even though insights are mentioned. Also, the formatting needs to be tweaked a bit, because the numbering of points is not spaced correctly. Having said this, the studies are still the same BSF quality that I have loved for years, and I still recommend WordGo to others.
I love WordGo - it’s super simple to GO to the world with the Word: to your local community, neighbors, family, friends, workplace, and church. With redesigned weekly study features and all new prayer request and discussion sharing, this redesigned Bible study app retains all the great great content from the previous version and transfers it to a much more user/group friendly app. Praise God!
The content of the original this app app was already second to none, since it’s made by BSF. This new this app app improves the whole group study experience, with in-app discussions and the ability to share and discuss answers to questions from other group members. My family is loving this new app!
