Enjoy the fact that Pokemon created the app and I was hoping that when they updated the website event locator that this was due to the app having the previous sort by date/distance option. I am disappointed Pokemon is not wanting to make it easier for competitors to view which tournaments they can attend quickly and now players are forced to waste 30 minutes or more trying to find a tournament they can go to in the week or month. Under the previous version I was able to view which tournaments I can go to in under 5 minutes. Enjoy the app but the app does not change my main reason for using the event locator.

The app needs to allow viewing of events directly and sorting them by date. It’s unreasonable to force users to manually search store-by-store. Also, search radius should be at least up to 100mi instead of the current 50; many competitors are willing to drive more than 50mi

Assuming with time this app will get better but to release without the ability to sort by date and easily check distance is just sad. Worse than the previous event locator functionality. In its current state, the app is just a store locator. How was this approved for release is beyond my understanding.
