Seemed good in theory. Got a text saying someone “has a crush” and invited me to Cerca . Okay, I’ll bite. I download, set up a profile, then get told I can’t leave the waitlist without 100 contacts on Cerca (I had only 16). Who on Earth has 100 single friends, let alone 100 single friends using an obscure dating app I’ve never heard of? Could have seen some potential in Cerca , but it’s useless for anyone with a smaller social circle.

Don’t bother unless your phone’s contact list is full of people who are also using Cerca. I went through the entire verification and profile creation just to be told I was on a waitlist until I reached 100 “this app mutuals”. I had 26. Waste of time app that’s probably only made to farm data. Find another option if you want to meet people.

I received a text saying a “secret admirer” had invited me to join Cerca . I decided to check it out, made a profile, and then got to a screen telling me I have zero this app mutuals and you must have 50 mutuals to actually use Cerca . Needing more mutuals for Cerca to work makes sense, but it wasn’t clear beforehand and I’m not sure how I was invited to Cerca from a mutual if I don’t have any.

The concept is great but the requirements are unreasonable. Must have 100 mutuals to leave the waitlist but you can only import your contacts. This concept would work if you expand the mutual lists to social media and maybe lower the requirement to 50 to gain traction during launch.

The best dating app I’ve ever experienced! The matching algorithm does a great job of suggesting people who genuinely align with my interests and values, which made the whole process feel more authentic. I love how Cerca encourages meaningful conversations instead of just small talk. Plus, the safety features give me peace of mind while interacting with others.

I love this concept! Dating apps often create a lot of anxiety for users as you are basically being set up with a stranger, so knowing that you have friends in common with your date is so reassuring. Cerca is very organized and user friendly and I look forward to seeing it grow!

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I love how it’s anonymous too. The match drop at 8 is cool too I’ve never seen that before. I’ve referred so many people so I can search all my crushes throughout the years lol. Would highly recommend to anyone who is sick of dating apps like I was.

this app is unlike any other dating app I’ve used. The layout is super modern and engaging, and you have the opportunity to connect with people in your extended circle. It’s almost like going to a party at a friend’s house, but on an app. Highly recommend.

Been telling all of my single friends about this app!!! If I was dating, I would 100% use this over any other app. It feels more natural since there’s already a common connection with matches from your mutuals and friends of friends, and takes some of the pressure off of meeting new people.

I’ve been struggling on the dating scene for years now and have had little to no success. I’ve gotten more play in two weeks using this app than I did in two years using other apps!! Would recommend to anyone trying to date, especially if you’re sick of meeting strangers.
