I keep getting denied for work here and I have over 50,000 followers. I think they are not displaying my engagement rate correctly or something because I have no problem closing work with other agencies like Intellifluence, which is a much better platform btw, and much easier to work with. This platform lacks client/influencer communications too. If I have a question for the client I cannot contact them directly before I apply or during the bid process. Want my advice, move over to Intellifluence where everything works right, the company has great communication on all levels and you’ll get consistent work as an influencer. I’m hoping PopularPays will get better, but for now, it’s a complete waste of time.

This use to be a great app that provided fair paying campaigns but over time this company’s customer service to their creatives have declined. They hold their influencers to strict deadlines to create content but do not pay them on time. It’s turning into a rare event to hear from anyone when you have a problem. Currently they are a week behind in my payment and I can not get anyone to answer.

I can’t even log in or make a new account. It’s been a while since I’ve been on this platform I used to like it. Now I see too many people having problems with PopularPays all the time.

PopularPays used to be so good. Now it’s just brands using creators for free content. $0 for 3 images is ridiculous. When hiring a content creator you get a stylist, photographer, location scouter, editor, model, and makeup artist all in one and you want to pay nothing?! Such an insult.

Just downloaded PopularPays so I can stop getting taken advantage of as an influencer and start getting paid for my work so I can afford my education. All I see are a ton of unpaid gigs of people posting asking u to post for free. Spam. It’s kind of annoying. A little bit disappointed. U can’t even sort to have it just display paid gigs only or certain types of requirements

I don’t recommend PopularPays or platform to any content creators or influencers since they don’t compensate fairly. It’s incredibly disappointing to see an influencer partnership app ask for full image rights in perpetuity without appropriate compensation for EVERY collab. It’s 2021, this is no longer the standard in the industry. Pay creators fairly for their work!

I’m a writer who has over 44k followers on Instagram. Occasionally I partner with different brands and I was hoping PopularPays would make it easier. PopularPays was awful. I never collated with anyone in about 5 months and I just deleted PopularPays . There are much better apps out there, don’t waste your time on this one.

I never leave negative reviews, but it has gotten extremely unprofessional. I feel like they’re ignoring me. I posted content 10 days ago (it takes a month for them to pay you after the content has been registered as posted by their bots), well it still hasn’t registered. It says that it should only take 1 or 2 business days. I’ve chatted in, emailed, and even reached out on their social media with no response. Someone just please contact me back and I’ll remove this negative review. This is getting ridiculous. I’m definitely feeling like this is a scam.

I reached out to look into starting Popular Pays. They called and gave me a list of their stats and brands and asked for the starting $500 mth membership. I asked outside if the documents they create, is there anyway to get a real proof of operation as many companies produce a good sell but once you start it’s no where close to the same. By asking this, apparently it wasn’t what they like and so instead of showing confidence in their product, they deemed the information sufficient enough to blindly shell out $500 off documents that they provide. Sadly they couldn’t offer a money back garuntee. Shady!

As someone who has a very large social following, PopularPays caters more to micro-influencers (like 10k - 50k ish it seems). For someone with almost 2 million, I rarely get booked because my quote is so high, despite very quality applications. I also wish their support team was more responsive/helpful. Just my personal thoughts relative to my situation, but if you’re a micro-influencer then PopularPays may be for you.

This is a tough thing to navigate and I realize this as it is very “new” for companies and such. I appreciate the balancing act that is required by all parties including yours.

However, brands take a lot of time to get back throughout the entire process. This puts the influencer at a big disadvantage on top of the obvious disadvantage to begin with (big companies versus one person).

In other words, many of these brands/campaigns simply “over-take” advantage of hard working influencers.

This facts makes this platform a low option for me and many other influencers that I talk to.

I would like to see more to encourage my usage on this platform as there are many others out there doing better.

We’ve used this for quite some time with success! The only downside we’ve seen is large brands don’t want to pay nearly what the going rate is. If you can overlook that- it can be a great tool for smaller budget sponsored posts!

I have been on it for several years and it is great. You do have to curate your social media platforms so you get picked for a campaign. But if you’re good at writing strong proposals and ideas you will get picked also. But most brands are looking at your engagement rate so if that is low it will be more difficult unless again you’re talented content creator or writer

Honestly took me a long time but I finally made this my job. I use other platforms too (everyone should) however all the best gigs come through here. Almost every month PopPays literally pays for my life lol.

PopularPays has come a long way! Some people may be annoyed because the company kind of pivoted from a bartering model where it was easier to participate. Now they partner with more established brands and it may be harder to get picked for gigs.

All that said, the design is spectacular; very intuitive. PopularPays never crashes and if you get picked, the workflow is pretty straightforward.

I highly recommend PopularPays. You can partner with brands right away with a low following this can help you get experience and build your following. Since using PopularPays I have gotten two collabs and I am fairly new to PopularPays 🌟.

I’ve been using Poppays for years now and I’ve never had a hiccup or setback. They have created such a well thought out application and the support team is so great to work with. They go even a step further and in email letters they equip newer users how to present themselves to brands and create a portfolio.

Love PopularPays and it’s super easy to use! One of my favorite ways to get collaborations!

I have set up my profile and I cannot get my applications submitted! I have emailed customer support and have still not received a respond. Waste of download

No doubt that this app has their stuff together. Would be awesome if they would bring in more opportunities for the auto industry. Once in a while there’s a chance but wished more of that. Great company tho...

The email features need to be fixed. When attempting to troubleshoot it does not recognize the email in the account and just dismisses you. Also does the same when attempting to add Instagram account.

I love PopularPays. It has afforded the ability to work some great brands, my only complaint is that communication between Pop Pays and with the brands, is excruciatingly slow. It can sometimes take over a week to get a response.

I have applied to countless campaigns with 344k followers and great engagement rate and have never even heard back from a single one. Don’t waste your time

I live in Chicago and recently found out about popular pay. Since downloading PopularPays 2 weeks ago, I've been like a mad man! I've been trying out all these amazing coffee shops and doughnut shops. It's given me the opportunity to explore places I never knew existed. I am so in love with PopularPays!! I feel like a tourist in my own city. & the great thing is I've told my friends to download it, so we all have a reason to spend the day out and about checking out all these cute places. I can go on and on about PopularPays! Such a genius idea! Good job
