Nice game, but...

After playing for about a week, I like the game. There is a lot to like. There are a variety of games, that generally take less than a couple minutes per turn. My biggest pet peeve is if the other person doesn’t take there turn they just take up one of your slots. You can only engage with two opponents at a time, unless you want to pay for more slots. I have had an opponent not take there turn for several days. You can “nudge” them to encourage them to take their turn, but if they don’t the game just sits there blocking a slot. Instead of them just timing them out and freeing up the slot, the game forces me to watch an ad to quit the game and I take the loss. That seems extremely unfair. So I am about ready to give up on it. Since you are playing against random opponents, there is no way to know who will actually finish a game and who won’t. You can enjoy it until your slots get blocked or you get frustrated with taking losses for opponents that don’t finish the game. I am going back to words with friends.

Quick, competitive, & gratifying way to improve my cognitive skills

I’m a young professional woman in SF with a high stress job, so most nights I look to iPhone games to decompress. The more addicting, the better. BrainBuzz is exactly what I needed. Competitive and relaxing? Yep! Games are quick and since the point is improvement, I don’t feel bad if I lose a match. Instead, I’m excited for a rematch! Plus, the music and sound effects are soothing, the perfect sensory input at the end of a long day.

I enjoy playing all of the games but some are more challenging for my brain than others. I love seeing my skills improve and where I fall on a bell curve. Now I know my strengths and I am eager to improve areas that could use some TLC. The Logic game was a great example of this—I found is super challenging at first but it has been so satisfying to see my rank go up over time. Now it’s one of my go-to games.

I am hoping to get my IRL friends on the game too, but in the meantime, I use the spin-to-match feature that automatically pairs me with a partner and a game. It’s more fun than playing against “the computer” like other games and the animated emoji’s are a fun, low-stakes way of building new connections. 🤓

Overall, I definitely recommend this game for anyone looking for their next digital addiction!

Great games

I love the games and find them very stimulating. I don’t mind having to earn in game rewards to unlock new games, because I like having goals. I enjoy that in game there are both daily and long term goals, as well as the option to do quests or beat your own time in addition to playing against opponents. Gameplay functions smoothly as well. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is I find the number of slots for playing others to be far too restrictive. Granted you can buy new slots through real money, in game earnings, and leveling, but it’s slow and seems to me a bad idea to only start with 3 people you can play at a time.

Fun Things for the Brain

I love how BuzzGames is always going. There are so many games, rewards, settings and options. It sets a time limit of 24 hours for your opponent to play so you don’t get stuck. It also doesn’t require attention for long, so it’s easy to pick up and entertain yourself for an hour, or a minute. The games make you think, but are definitely NOT mentally exhausting. There are lots of easy ways as well to earn free game lots or extra plays for FREE by watching ads. It seems like they are pretty good at updating BuzzGames for fixes and adding new content as well which keeps things interesting. I’m excited to see what games and features they deliver in the future.

Overall pretty great, but with a few suggestions

Love the concept getting to compete in pvps, I like the social aspects of chat and gifting even though not many people use it.
Games pretty fun but really basic maybe I wish there was a bit more complex games. I would like to suggest tier rankings as in bronze gold etc. also with tier insignias or frames maybe award medals for decor on profile. I think it would be fun to also add a community chat or team games if possible. But overall I am enjoying the game, there’s a few ads but not excessive, it’s also not too hard to earn gems or coins which ads to the exciting pace.

this game is alright but kinda frustrating

I’ve been playing this game for a couple days now, and it’s been doing alright but i was playing against my friend and we both had a major glitch where it said on her screen that it was my turn but my screen it said it has her turn, so we both had to delete and re download BuzzGames , which kinda sucked cause the progress on that match was gone, so i hope that you can fix that from happening again, thank you

Awesome game but glitchy

I enjoyed this game when I started playing it but went to update my profile pic to my new fb pic and it wouldn’t, so I deleted the game account thinking it would be no big deal and I’d just reconnect it with fb and restart bc I am not that far in. This was not the case. It will not even let me play or get past the purple loading screen now. Please fix this, I really enjoy the game and regret the decision to delete it. I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading BuzzGames to no avail.

Awesome BUT...

I agree with many low reviews. The games at are great, lots of variety and challenging. My only problem is that when you’re playing someone who doesn’t take their turn, it doesn’t time them out as much as you nudge them. It gives you the msg that your opponent has 24 hrs but that’s not actually true. I’ve had 3 opponents not take any of their turns so I’m stuck with all of my slots full to play others instead. I don’t think it’s fair for me to cancel them and that’s then a loss for my stats. Developer should really fix this obvious and unfair flaw. Otherwise great game but disappointed this is an issue.

Wow! Love it!

A suggested this and challenged me to a match, and I was apprehensive. But after playing this I am really impressed with how fun and challenging this is...not to mention the fact that I can feel myself sharpening parts of my brain that I haven’t used in a while! Plus it’s fun at the same time!

The only negative I’ve found so far, is that I’m officially addicted and my work performance may suffer! But hopefully after using BrainBuzz, I’ll be able to complete my work tasks even faster!

Tutorial is broken or something

This game seems amazing and i want to play it but when the tutorial says that your opponent has 24 hours to play the tutorial screen can’t be skipped so i can’t go on to the next thing of the tutorial or do anything. I have tapped everywhere and i can’t get past it and when I reset BuzzGames it just forces the tutorial agian.

Not very user friendly

I like the games & enjoy the competitions & tournaments. But it really frustrates me that any interruption forfeits your game & causes you to lose that round or cancels your tournament entry. If my phone tells me I am at 20% battery, the game cancels & makes me forfeit. I would think the programmers know that sometimes people text you on your phone or even call you! All the other games pause & you can come back after a couple minutes. This one is way too touchy. Think about it-some people have to do other things besides playing your game!!

I love this game but it could use improvement

Ok so I love this a lot I like that we could create games we could play with each other level up buy accessories, but there’s only two types of games that you can make puzzle and one of those jumpy games so making them is getting kids boring so I think that you should add more types of games that you can create.

Fun! Food for your Brain!

Awesome! I love the quick thinking, fast paced games. It’s really challenging my mind to make fast decisions, in different ways of thinking. It’s Brain training at its best. I love playing with people all across the globe. What a great social networking concept. Now I can meet people with the same intellectual improvement interest as myself. Pretty cool BrainBuzz! Keep the games coming. Five stars across the board.

Good games but glitchy

I enjoy the games & tournaments they are fun and challenging but the game is too glitchy. I constantly have to shut BuzzGames down and reopen it. I also have lost a lot of coins I’ve purchased to play in tournaments b/c of the glitch. I’ve reached out and was told an update is in the near future to fix the glitches, hopefully sooner than later

Could be good

I want to like it but…
On the plus side - Games are interesting and for the most part universal. Three different skill levels provide a choice between Fast Play and making your brain work harder.

On the negative side - there are not tens of thousands of players. There are barely 1000 active players as you can see by the Leaders board. In fact It appears that several of the players are computer generated simply to provide the sense that there are more players. Unfortunate.

Love this app BUT

I’ve been using BuzzGames for a year now, daily, and really like it, but what I don’t like is that they change the UI pretty frequently (not always to make it better, today’s update is a great example of change that makes it waaaaay worse and goes against so many UX best practices) and completely ignore serious issues they have for months and months. They really need to learn how to prioritize

Great Mental Game!

I have been playing this game since early in the 2020 pandemic and I can honestly say that the games, the community, and the competition have helped keep me relatively sane in what has been an insane year. The game continues to evolve, adding new challenges, and overall continuing to improve itself time and time again.

This app is very good

I just Love BuzzGames because it does not need to load and crash or freezes my other app called :ReadyMaker: does nothing I am a person who like technical thing BuzzGames is great for making cool games and puzzles BuzzGames is great for playing

Really fun game!!

I really like this game!! The mini games are fun, you can play with friends and real people not just CPU’s, and you aren’t just given games. You have to earn coins and buy them. There is nothing really wrong with the game except they could of at least given you 3 or 4 game slot so u can play with more people.

Quick & fun

As others have said, having few available slots to challenge is a drag at first. (You do get to unlock more as you move on.)
It’s a good collection of quick games. I like the variety, & like getting to choose which new games to unlock.

Is This Just Me?

Nice Start- This seemed like a great game to play after just one Ad about it. I was very excited to try this game out and it seemed to have amazing reviews. It also seemed safe for kids of all ages, even though it is online, because most online games are not young child appropriate. What?- After excitement to play, The game was loading. “Wow,” I thought, ‘’this is taking a long time.” It filled the bar to load, then froze immediately. I tried so many times and it still would not load- I even rebutted my device and still did the same thing. This disappointed me extremely. So…- So, I dont recommend this game unless it is just me, it probably is, but don't get your hopes completely up. This might not work. Again, its probably just my devices issue, but in case it is not, beware.

Great but some suggestions...

Very fun and good game but when the week ends and it was the other players turn then I should have won٫ it gets so annoying cause so many people do this to me and it just gets so annoying. Also it gets kinda boring because you can only make five types of different games and I get very bored but other than that its very fun.
