Watch out for expensive fees a week later!

If you’re wary about using this app like I was, just get this: you as a renter are very much at risk of getting slammed with fees by the vehicle owner - even a week after the rental. In my specific case, a 4 hour-long car rental ended up costing me $175 USD (or about 1800 SEK). I’ve never incurred fees from other companies, but I had a bad feeling about GoMore. After taking special care to return the car full of gas and back to its EXACT pick up parking spot, I hoped I had made it out unscathed. Nope! A full week later I was sent a Swish request from the owner for 1000 sek because of a parking ticket he received the day after I returned it. Yep, friends. YOU are responsible for the car 24 HOURS after you return the vehicle. Never mind the owner is the one who left it illegally parked for almost a week after I returned it. I was forced to pay the fee and threatened with a third party “taking it further” if I didn’t pay up. I really expected some degree of protection as a renter, but there was none. I’ve since deleted my account, since there are other companies offering the same service in our area and I just can’t afford to put myself in financial risk with GoMore.

Refused membership for no reason

I was refused membership and wasn’t allowed to use the app because I didn’t pass the validation process. I have no criminal record or traffic violations. When I inquired about what the issue was, they said “the details of the rejection are confidential as part of their privacy policy and specify standards.” Further attempts to get information were met with dismissive emails. Seems like a bad system when you can’t take any actionable steps to correct what may have been an issue when submitting personal documentation.

The App is full of scammers. So what happens is that a big chunk of the cars have no reviews, instead of gomore asking and verifying these scammers, they let them scam you, waste your money and time and then tell you they do not responsible. Worst company customer service with the best app
