Trying to send 15 page document and it is capped at 13. Booo!

The OCR is very good, but to Copy, Share, or use the OCR text in any way is an EXTRA HIDDEN FEE of $4.99 NOT described in SharpScan 's description at all, not even in the In-App Purchase section.

Furthermore, if in Airplane mode, OCR still works well, but you get no warning about NOT being able to Copy, Share, or use OCR text in any way without paying an extra $4.99 fee first.

I've used SharpScan to scan plenty of documents but then it began crashing when I urgently needed it to upload to google drive. Even the link to take you to rate SharpScan had a bug in it. I would use Adobe instead. MUCH better app!

For quick scans at work, seems to do what it says.

I needed to get good pics of documents and receipts. I tried 8 or 9 of the so-called "top scanner apps" and the were all mediocre at best.

I usually have trouble keeping the iPad steady for detailed receipts and this has great stabilization.
It also captures really well in lower light.

Super easy to send to cloud storage (box, Dropbox and other I think). That part is so much faster and simpler than other apps.

Use scanner to scan office documents time to time. It's really the best quality scanner!

This scanner is my office helper and I forgot my desktop scanner. I like SharpScan. Fast scanning and perfect scan quality. Now SharpScan has very nice OCR!

Easy to use, cleans up shadows easily. Scanned items can be renamed by client name. On iPhone 4S, Only disappointment, volume controls cannot be used to capture scan.

This was very intuitive and got the job done with good quality at no cost. I am so happy to have found SharpScan.

My requirement was simple: make a picture of a document look like it was scanned and then email that document. SharpScan did that very easily. There was no learning curve at all and the end product was clean and professional looking.

When i scan a document with my phone i want speed. If i want high quality i will walk to the office scanner. I have used several and this one is the quickest, mostly because it doesnt make u go through a series of silly choices. Scan. Send. Done.

This is the one to get. I use this app to digitize bound 200+ page file wrappers at an intellectual property law firm. It takes little more than an hour to scan that much once you get the hang of it. The interface isn't quite as polished as Genius Scan, but when you take into account both the reduced input requirements for each page and the faster, more accurate processing, SharpScan is about twice as fast for multipage scanning.

Intelligent. Auto select of image size is nice. Recognizes receipts as receipts, full page scans as letter. Easily opens image in Evernote to save. Dropbox support. Very good image enhancements. Hope this dev continues developing SharpScan. One suggestion on ipad would be to put image capture button on the right side to make the capture process just a little easier or a setting to choose where to put it. SharpScan is worth buying pro version just to support dev.

I use this to scan and e-mail reports to the office always! Great app, does what it claims and then some. I really rely on it.

Great for managing receipts. Efficient work flow, fast, compact files. Auto crop and conversion to B&W works great. I've tried many similar apps, some coating a bit of money, but keep coming back to this one.
