The actual manual centering doesn’t work what so ever. So difficult to even get the picture to take then it’s not even centered in the slightest.

The lines used for centering makes it difficult to get a consistent reading because sometimes they are too thick and difficult to tell which part of the line to use. I’d suggest to make the line thinner and dashed to see where to place the line. After purchasing the premium version and changing the camera quality to the highest setting, still has the same quality as the normal setting. Using the regular camera gives you a better quality than using the scan feature with the highest quality setting.

Decent app to see how centered a card is before grading, however they advertise being able to see grading. But the grading is locked behind a paywall. Nowhere does it say in app purchases at the time of this review (14 Oct 2024). Would be nice to see at least one free and other available for purchase later. But alas that’s not available nor do I think it will happen.

I really love CardCenteringCalculator to help me grade edges but I don’t like having to pay a subscription to see what like PSA would grade it. That’s why it’s a four star.

Love using CardCenteringCalculator it’s been very helpful to me in determining which cards I should send in to be graded or sell ungraded whenever the time comes to sell

As someone who buys a lot of raw cards to be PSA graded off Ebay and elsewhere, CardCenteringCalculator helps a ton if you have good photos. Compared to the physical centering tool, i’ve seen no difference and CardCenteringCalculator is more accurate on a finer scale. A must have for the slab collecting addicts.

New user to CardCenteringCalculator; have used it on several cards to date. Very useful in demonstrating the approximate centering aspects. Some card designs are easy to reference visually, but some designs are tough to visually estimate without tools like this.
