I used the previous version of PokerStars Lite in the past before being forced to downgrade to Vegas Infinite. This app crashes on my 7th Gen iPad. But it doesn’t just crash randomly… it waits maliciously until it is too late to recover a buy-in to a tournament before crashing. Then I have to re-log in and have about a 75% chance that it will take me to the tourney but leave me sitting out with no way to become active again. So much fun to sit impotently by while being blinded out.
Beyond the crashing issues, the controls are cumbersome and non intuitive. This attempt to appear up to date was poorly implemented and just comes across as embarrassingly childish.
The only reason I still have it on my pad is because I was waiting until I had time to leave a review to warn others. I have done that so I will delete it in about 15 seconds

Might be better with VR, but compared to PokerStars this is way worse. Way more complicated getting to the actual game, and people take forever to play their hands cause they’re too busy messing with vr vapes and samurai swords. On top of that the board is much harder to read, people’s stacks are much harder to read, and having to peel your cards is completely pointless and annoying. It seems like they put VR functionality way above being able to actually play poker.
Also- PokerStars said Vegas infinite chips are 10x more valuable than PokerStars chips, so you get 1 Vegas chip for 10 PokerStars chips, when in reality the stakes are the same.
Completely disappointed.

Vegas Infinite is really fun in VR, but the mobile app is very buggy. The game doesn’t even launch most of the time. Nine times out of ten, all I see is a gray screen before the app crashes. When the app does launch, it doesn’t sync my avatar that I’ve setup in VR despite using the same account.
Finally, when playing poker especially, I wish mobile had the option to use a 2D interface similar to the real money PokerStars app. I think that would make things a lot easier to read on mobile, but still allow me to use the same account. Otherwise, this app is mostly just a way for me to spin the wheel every few hours without having to turn on my VR headset
