Avid player of ARPGs. Torchlight Infinite is fun for what it sets out to achieve. I won’t comment on the monetization model as it has already been discussed. I will note that I have spent money on the game.
What is awful however, is the customer service. After experiencing a bug that crashed my game, I can no longer load my character without the game crashing. I leveraged both the game’s ticket system and submitted a bug report on the game discord. Neither received appropriate responses. The ticket system told me to report it on discord or use the in-game customer service system. How could I use the in-game system if my character is inaccessible? There is literally no other way to reach out to the devs outside of reviewing or social media. I haven’t been able to play the game for nearly three days now.
The game is admittedly in open beta. I’m not faulting the development team for game bugs, but you should be having an open dialogue with your players on how to rectify issues.

That game was not good. Total cash grab. Why did you reskin it and slap “Torchlight” on it? Does this company have any good ideas or are they only interested in money? Well, it only takes looking at the spin wheels in their games to find that answer ($25+ for a skin….)! I mean they made it to where you have to lvl up your shooter in T3… do you know how gimped that makes you starting out? Same in Flash party. They will build any game to entice you to spend money, but beware if you need customer service. Not much more than 1 sentence replies. Your customers on flash party are begging for content In the social tab I’ve noticed. Like why is there more characters on T3 than flash when flash has been out longer? I’m just not sure about this companies priorities.
