This game was fun and I have enjoyed meeting a bunch of people from all around the world the past 6 years. However over the past few months the developers have changed the game and changed part of the game after money had been spent. This in particular is troubling because it means even though money was spent it doesn’t stop the developers from making changes to items you bought. If you want to be a free player, it is unlikely that you will compete much in the game. Finally, if you are a spender, beware, the exchange rates are not actively adjusted so there is a good chance people are spending 50% of what you spent. Others are gaming the system by buying in those countries. As stated above I have played this 6 years and if you asked for a rating 2 years ago it probably would have been a 4 star rating. However, with the things mentioned above the developers have proven to be unreliable. Player beware!

Through a programming error (wanted to buy a $4.99 event, was charged $9.99). They gave me another events items, which I did not want. Through lengthy communication delays to try to resolve this problem I was still not reimbursed money owed to me. Was unsure if this would happen again so I do not spend anymore on this game.

Servers should be added more often. I don’t wanna start out on a server that already has people with so much power and no way to catch up

There is a bunch of glitches in the game. In contacting developers they dismiss the glitches. I have played a long time. Won’t play anymore

I can’t log in on my freaking account I’ve spent months on stupid game is so freaking bugged out everyone should just rate this a 1 star and every other game this company makes.

Currently is frozen and will not load up my saved city and when I uninstalled and reinstalled it just keeps showing the loading symbol this game is falling fast

It’s gotten so repetitive of the same thing and it’s all about the money. There is no more fun in the game. The same old events week after week with the same old prizes that are useless.

Almost a decade of the same greedy developers, the same bugs and the constant issue of not being able to log in…. And the Truly amazing devotion of the support being non existent

People spend thousands of dollars on this game if your just starting out do not bother spending your hard earned money you will not get anywhere close to being good for a long time.
It takes forever to level your city and even longer to level your troops
This game is designed to take your money with 97% of events that are cash only to play and only 3 events at a time that do not require money to play

Galaxy Play Technology is a huge ripoff. I’ve played for years and suddenly lost everything I had built up. This is the second (and final) time it happens to me. Periodically they stop supporting servers with current game technology and require you to change. When that happens, you stand a big chance of loosing everything you’ve invested. It takes money to be successful in this game$$$$$. They will tell you it can’t happen but it does regardless of their lies. I wish I could give them zero stars

these devs abandoned another game (Blood Tyrant) after taking people’s money with no word at all. The same will probably happen with this one.

You should bring back the old servers just send a few out to test the waters. Back when there was only 5* hero’s, and titan gems was the strongest gems. Just try to do 2-3 servers and see where it goes bc this was a 5* game now it’s a 3 1/2 * rated

Well they certainly do try to take money at every turn and every link you hit haha but it seems like a steep learning curve I’m sure it should be fun once I get the hang of it? Just seems like there’s not enough opportunity for a beginner to grow and learn the game well.

I started my addiction for the game. When I thought I was the only one walking day by day and night by night. Looking back at all the steps and people I came across. I was merely walking while a fold was bond.

I've played for about 7 days now and so far the game is entertaining. I can check it for about 1 minute and still progress or explore and click around for an hour and still enjoy myself. The game has a lot of in app purchases but so far I've been able to progress without spending any money. The game offers a lot of daily missions that can be completed to acquire the in game currency to try and keep it fair. I give it 4 stars because I've only played for a week and don't know what the long term playability of the game will be.

I’ve played it before and more recently started playing again. Still the same old good game I’ve played. I love it. Would definitely recommend. Idk I don’t really write reviews so...

I have been playing for about 6 months and have enjoyed it very much. I have spent 0$ since the beginning and I still enjoy it. Progress I imagine, would be faster through spending money in the game, but I'm enjoying playing it anyway!

If you know COC is too easy, AOWE has many layers of build and tweak to keep you entertained for a long time. There are many types of i game competition and events that mimic almost every type of game style in mobile gaming. Pay to be the best, but no problem being competitive/participation completely free, spend $2-3 a month and get good boosts if you want. Adults typically due to complicated nature of the gaming system. I Recommend!

The game better now than year ago .

I have had fun competing with new friends and never ending objectives. It’s a lot to figure out but once you do it’s very fun. The only thing I don’t like is the game is very much biased towards people who have money to pay and play and purchase a lot of gold coins in game. It MIGHT be possible to compete without refinancing your home to buy enough gold.. but I doubt it.
But on the flip side for those who can spend, it’s a great time and very addicting:)
