I just used ReadingLogBookshelfTracker for the first time: I did a search for a book I’m reading, brought it up and it wouldn’t allow me to add it unless I entered the amount of pages the book was. This is a required field. What if I used an ebook and the amount of pages always varies? In fact, Im listening to an audio book version and there are ZERO pages. Bad first impression.
Frustrating
by PhelineCat
The search algorithm is dreadful. I'm trying to transfer my Amazon Kindle purchases. I can’t scan an ISBN, so I’m copying and pasting, but it can't find about half of the books. I have a lot of Joyce Carol Oates’s books, so entering the author’s name should bring them up. You’d think so, but nope. My results are *about* Joyce Carol Oates. I got the same useless results for Neil Gaiman and Sigid Undstet. A reasonable search would show their novels, and here’s a thought - give me related suggestions! What reader isn't always looking for something else to read‽
A reminder to read is absurd. I don't know anyone who needs to be reminded. Everyone I know is more likely to need a reminder to stop reading. When I wake up in the morning, I immediately want to return to my Kindle or the news. If you want this to be useful for heavy readers, you’ve got to make it easier to enter the data, and there needs to be a reason to use it, like generating suggestions. Otherwise, I can just screenshot my Amazon purchases and shopping list.

I’m sorry that I had to give you a two star review, but I was just looking at ReadingLogBookshelfTracker . I have to say, it’s a very splendid idea, but you need to upload more to it. I read a lot of books and I need to be able to add these books easily and ReadingLogBookshelfTracker hasn’t made it very easy. I can give you a few books I looked up that you didn’t have. You only had one of the Diary of a Sixth Grade Ninja, no Percy Jackson, no Buster, and no Riders of the Realm. That is only the touch of what I have looked up. Maybe you could add a way for your app buyers to add books, but right now, somebody’s falling behind. I would really like it if you could find a way to have ALL of the books. And I mean ALL OF THEM. I have somebody who wants me to use ReadingLogBookshelfTracker to keep track of all of my books, but I just CAN’T when I cannot find them! So I give you my personal opinion, and hope you can make it better, sincerely, Annabeth Chase.
Need to sync
by ICanHazDubbleCheezburger
ReadingLogBookshelfTracker has the right ideas, but the data needs to sync.
Hope to support the import of csv files exported from the software calibre ebook management, and the corresponding title, author, tag, isbn, formats, comments publisher and other corresponding information can be imported.
The relevant information of imported or manually entered books is incomplete. Whether the function can be added is to update the book Metadata information in the RLT in batches online.
Polished!
by Mstormer
Having used goodreads for years and compared various other apps, this is the most polished app I’ve seen. I hope it will continue to find ways to add a social element and syncing with existing popular services.
Please make type size adjustable
by LouiseLovesApps
Love many things about ReadingLogBookshelfTracker. The details and notes section for each book. The online lookup. How easy it is to add the book to one or more collections.
I do struggle, however, with the very tiny type when typing in a book name or collection name. Please make it bigger or have an font adjustment option.
Excellent reading tracker
by Ti' Ti Hung
I really like all of the features this tracking app offers. A couple of things would make it even better. When adding a new book using barcode scan, some fields may not be picked up from the scan. It would be helpful to highlight the required fields, e.g., Author, before Save button could be turned on. Also, being able to sync across devices would be a great addition. Overall, a clean and crisp tracking app for reading. 👍
Excellent Reading Tracker, but!
by Lucifersama93
ReadingLogBookshelfTracker is excellent, flawless, and easy to use and has greater functionality than Goodreads, BUT as someone who’s been using the latter for more than a decade, I’d say I can’t be too sure about switching unless ReadingLogBookshelfTracker could provide a way to link my Goodreads account to here, then I’d gladly give it 5 stars
I’ve used many reading trackers over the past 7 or so years of me starting my reading journey. I decided to recently switch to this one after my last book tracker gave up on me. So far the experience has been exceptional. I’d really appreciate if ReadingLogBookshelfTracker could have an import feature implemented allowing me to import books using CSV or Goodreads other than that it has everything I need. :)
Best app for avid readers

ReadingLogBookshelfTracker is fantastic. It allows you to track every book you read, offers online book ratings, and lets you take notes. Additionally, it provides access to a vast number of books online.

Great app for keeping tracks of books you read
by Jimmyblues
ReadingLogBookshelfTracker is great. I used to keep track of books by typing them in Notes- now they’re all in ReadingLogBookshelfTracker, with a pic of the book. There are minor snafus like when I looked up a translated Russian novel; ReadingLogBookshelfTracker couldn’t find the translation but found the original Russian. That’s OK. I just need to keep track that I read the book. Also getting the ISBN number through ReadingLogBookshelfTracker is hit or miss but you can input it manually and look it up online so I really appreciate ReadingLogBookshelfTracker. If you are a reader, this is a big help.
