I downloaded it because I’m a beginner and was looking for something that help me on a deeper level help explain or if I have questions to ask it but it didn’t even let me ask one question before telling me I have to pay and I get it but some people download apps like this hoping for something useful but instead we can’t even continue without having to pay

Why would someone make an app that lets one get closer to God cost money? Some people don’t have phones and by the time they get one, do you think they are going to pay for a trial. This is ridiculous. I’ve been struggling with lust for years and I feel guilty everyday and I thought Haven would help. Apparently not. If you paid for the trial for Haven, your just making the owners money. I doubt they have any money to a homeless shelter or a church. Anyways 1 star have a good life.
by Joyful365
I got to use it once before it made me pay before continuing. It said it wanted it to be accessible to everyone… well this isn’t. I get having a subscription but at least add perks for whoever pays and let people use the dang app… I couldn’t afford it so I didn't pay and just deleted it. It’s a shame because it seems like a really helpful app, especially when you’re struggling to find help in other places. If you can afford it, it’s a great resource, I just really wish I at least had the option to use Haven for free.
by Dunterway
Very unfortunate that this is a weekly subscription. I’d understand a one time buy but I find it in bad taste that you have to pay for something behind religion let alone a subscription. Hate to see it because I saw that Haven could be really useful for understanding the Bible better but I can’t afford / won’t pay for a weekly subscription on something like this…. Wish for the best to God bless
by Nynynynynyyyyyy
i’m not one to write reviews but this really upsets me that you find a good app that says to help you deepen your relationship with God but then hit you with a weekly or monthly subscription just to use it . shouldn’t as followers of Christ , we should have the free resources to help bring others to Christ ?? i don’t understand christian developers nowadays. i get inflation in this world but that’s why we pray that God provides for us not charge us for his word . it’s just upsetting to know i really wanted to use Haven but im not going to pay $$$ weekly for a bot . truly heartbreaking community 💔
by Karinnnnnnn009
I really don't understand why you have to pay for that. Isn't it supposed to be an application to be a better Christian and that can help you? I honestly think this is ugly. I was on Instagram and I found a guy who was recommending Haven , I was excited because I really needed a guide to be able to read my Bible better, I downloaded it. I entered Haven and did everything it told me to do to be able to enter. And I needed help to be able to understand certain things when I read the Bible or ask questions when I didn't understand something🙄. It's really annoying because it seems and shows that instead of helping people they do it for MONEY! To seek help and things from the Bible we should not have to pay.
Matthew 6:24
24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

The developers know what they’re doing when they charge users $7 per week to use Haven . I think it’s great that they’ve developed a system that helps people grow closer to God, but the subscription requirement almost directly contradicts Jesus’s teachings. To the developers: you can repent and change your ways. God loves you.

I downloaded Haven when it was first released after it was promoted by a popular TikTok user. At that time, it was free to use. However, now it's inaccessible without a WEEKLY subscription, and not everyone can afford that in this economy. It used to be a great app and addressed all of my needs, but now I can't use it, so that's disappointing.
by Caliatlien
This costs way too much. Almost $30 per month? ChatGPT is just $20! Jesus is free. This isn’t new age spiritualism. This isn’t Keen.
by Idontlikehackers!
Why on earth is there a subscription? You’re using God to gain money, that’s not right. That’s like paying to get into church. Fix that.
by SweatCollector
Now look I will say Haven does deserve 5 stars because of everything in it such as Help with your faith Bible study your calling or anything but I don’t like at all that you have to Pay money
6.99 PER WEEK that’s ridiculous and 3.99 For only 3 days that’s too much but overall High prices make this a 1 star would only recommend it for someone to get a free trial and use that then to delete Haven because it’s too expensive but overall great app but high prices high prices is why I rated it 1 star but here’s my rating
1 star Prices
5 star Quality

I don’t get why companies use a religion as a money pool this is basically what it is I wanted to ask questions I want to know what to do with this sin I keep falling into and if I have to pay for that then Haven is nothing but a way to make money off of God,The Holy Spirit, and Jesus my faith is strong but I want to get closer with god with unconditional love not with money I want to understand him without having to pay for it you can call me cheap and say go buy a Bible and read off of that but Haven truly disgusts and hurts that some companies would go through lengths to make money off of The Lord god bless all of you.
by Miridical.
Haven has been recommended by so many people, and yet nobody wants to mention how you cannot use Haven without paying. What a sad world we live in where we have worldly people that are worshipping money, and “Christians” who use the Lord as a way to grab money too. In Matthew 6:3, it says “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,” meaning, give generously without thinking about it. I pray that whoever is on the development team or whoever manages Haven , making it inaccessible unless paid for, can open their eyes and realize that this world is in need of spiritual guidance (God) and holding back tools like this for money is cruel. God bless.

Come on bruh, I wanted to check Haven out because I want to grow my faith in Christ and get closer to him. But no, in order to use Haven, you have to give money to the greedy people who made Haven. I was very disappointed that it forced me to get a free trail to use this. Hallow is such a way better app since you’re not being forced to pay for anything and it had a huge impact in my faith. Pretty sure that in the bible, it said that it’s a sin to use religion for money. 😑
by BrayK27
I found this app through theist brooks and decided to give it a try as an avid Christian. Being met by a pay wall, and an expensive one at that is wild to me.
It’s super unfortunate that this tool of god is being monetized in such a way. I would have preferred ads and then a subscription service to use Haven with zero ads.
If this design flaw is fixed, I will likely return, but until now, this app is a dud.
by NMH360
I wish I could just ask questions without having to pay almost $30 a month. I have basically been scared into Christianity and thus I have so many questions with very inconsistent answers. I would’ve loved talking to this Christian ai, and I assumed the company behind it cared more for its people, but I’m just left off feeling even worse. Thanks a lot.
by UThirstyPartner
as much as i love the bible it’s pathetic to see an app take advantage of it by charging people just to ask questions about it.
by MigBoi
Got Haven because I wanted to strengthen my faith and ask questions like I would to ChatGPT about the Bible. Unfortunately this service is paid and I’m a highschool student and don’t have an income to pay for the subscription service. Unfortunately I didn’t get to even try what could’ve been an amazing app. I wish there was a free alternative with ads or limited usage.
by God Is The True Way
I saw Haven from brooks and I wanted to know more about the Bible. But you have to pay to use it I understand that your a small company and you have to money in someway.
by Noooo457678889
Forced trail is a little obnoxious..it also glitched a lot after a certain amount of time in the chat. If it’s suppose to help people why are you guys forcing a “free trail” that you can cancel at any time? maybe ask for donations but forcing it to the point were even if you exit out it comes back up with no exit is helping people get closer or a better understanding to god how?
by Wow.😐
Ive seen theist brooks, and other christians online recommending Haven. I thought that i should give it a try, i've answered a couple of questions then i was brought to a trial screen. It was not what i was expecting from a "guiding your way to be christian/better christian. It's probably a good app, but its the fact you have to pay that part throws me off. Some of the bible apps have stuff like this, but its not making you pay to go further.
by Happy_t23
Took my money after subscription no head up either was a good app tho

So I just wanted to feel out Haven but when I first saw it was subscription based and it was weekly I was like no but it said there was a free trial for a couple days or week or something like that I’m like okay that’s fine so I subscribed but again I already knew I wasn’t going to use Haven so I just unsubscribe from Haven and the subscription thing is telling me that my free trial subscription expires on the 4th of this month but I got a “to avoid future issues with your payment” message and I’m like confused for a moment as in what was I charged for and I seen that Haven decided to charge me even though I’m still under the “free trial” and plus I cancelled it so I shouldn’t had been charged regardless. I only used it like a few times and it’s not bad Haven itself but my issue is the payment thing because I’m still under the free trial thing and there charging me- I don’t mean to be a mean person or spread hate here because that’s not my goal here but I’m warning anyone reading this, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS because it seems like even though you canceled the subscription they will still charge you. Don’t let that “free trial” get you, listen to me THEY SHOULD NOT CHARGE YOU AT ALL IF UR STILL UNDER THEIR “FREE TRIAL” THING after that date yes but before the date from when you cancelled it no. You guys been warned!
by Alanajm17
This is a great app for all the questions you have about getting closer the God and finding where things are in the Bible. It’s just sad that the subscription is weekly 😭 Like I completely understand why Haven costs but by weekly is actually insane. Scratch that. People shouldn’t have to pay to get closer to Christ. That’s why he died. For us to have a relationship with him. Jesus already paid the price, so why do we have to pay??
by Wahhday
Haven is awesome. But I feel like if an atheist or someone who is curious about the Bible, while this is a great resource for it, has to pay $7 a week is probably the easiest way for them to stray away from it and to lose all interest.
by Noruto Flopa
The idea is amazing it’s supposed to be like a at home preacher or something like that but I’m a ten year old kid that’s lately tried to commit more my religion but I find hard because I’ve also been playing video games and exercise and soon I’m going back to school but having to 7 bucks a week is to much for I would much rather to have ads I’m sorry but I just can’t but the idea is really good

Outside of Haven being subscription based, I love it! As someone who is trying to step back into the word of God, Haven has been helping me a lot! Any question you have, the response gives you an answer, a verse, and even encouraging words. I use Haven for my bible study, as i am still having trouble finding meaning in some verses. I type the verse, it gives me the verse and an explanation, and if i am still not understanding i just ask for more of a deeper explanation. Doing this, i also ask for a prayer to go with the verse. 10/10 recommend Haven!!
Ps. Thank you TikTok!<3
by Nataliagui
i think this is an amazing app to let all people no matter what their beliefs understand God in a better way. my only problem is the subscription, i know these days everything is about money but it’s very upsetting to know that just to get to know God and help understand what he was done i need to pay. it’s sad to see greed has taken over the world, but i understand. overall great concept!
by Mady👺
I really like Haven and it gave me verses for my problems that really helped, honestly as a broke student I really don’t think I or many people can keep up with the subscription and it would be cool if you guys made revenue off ADS or something, maybe in app purchases but making it free would definitely make it more accessible and reach more people who might need it💗
by Okay, No Thank U
I downloaded Haven because of Theist Brooks, amazing Christian debater, I feel in love with Haven . The subscription thing when getting started is annoying but I do really love Haven. I just dislike when I try to close out my chat to read the words the bot is telling me. The page scrolls upward then glitches back down and it does this continuously unless I go back into chat. I hope this problem gets fixed, but overall I fell in love with Haven.🥰
by TrishaREED
Im sure its a good app based off what I have seen but it doesn’t tell you that you have to pay to use it.
by Mitchell Hintz
I got Haven because I saw it on Instagram. It is amazing and asks you questions to encourage your faith. Also, you can ask it any verse, reference, or anything related to the Bible and or God. I just wish it was free because I’m 15 and don’t have a debit card to pay the monthly subscription. But at the same time it’s only 3 dollars. Overall, it’s a great app and is fun to use. I use it daily and hopefully I can work something out for the small fee.
by Jaileelee
Thank you Theist brooks for promoting Haven on your platform 🙏
I’m sure most people have their doubts and questions when it comes to god and religion
For example, why does god let bad things happen if he’s all powerful? Not having answers to questions like this may stir people away from god.
Haven does a wonderful job answering basic questions and the more complex questions. I was genuinely surprised with how quick Haven was with their responses to my questions.
I love Haven I hope more people find out about it.
Might sound a bit like a reach but after downloading Haven I got many answers to my many questions and I feel like my faith in the lord has deepened.

I learned Haven from a TikTok influencer Theist brooks I’ve watched his content for a while and normally I don’t watch Christian TikTok because I feel like it’s not all the purpose of God or just to get views, but I see in Theists is truly for the purpose of God and nothing else to educate so that’s why I’m getting Haven a try.
by I Have A You Tube Channle
I would like to say Haven seems amazing! But i’m always skeptical about free trails. I feel like Haven should let you chat a few times before the free trail thing pops up. I didn’t get a chance to try Haven because I didn’t wanna get charged unexpectedly, but I don’t want to give a bad rating because Haven seems amazing💗
by Collestkidevertolive
this app is incredible.
Is it possible to do subscription options?
Have you guys considered a percentage reduction rate based on time commitment?
Monthly 20% weekly rate -$4.90 (forgive 7x70 = 490, nice)
Yearly 40% subscription $218 (that’s a big chunk of change and I’d pay it)
May God bless you and may HE bless the JesusGPT you created

Finding this app to be super helpful to sort out complex personal issues, in confidence.
by Slixeee
This is the best app to ask questions about personal struggle, or even things you want to learn more on, it will give you verses as well as actions to help you walk in Faith. It’s free as well. Other ones make you pay for that, now what kinda Christian would make you pay to hear the Word of our Heavenly Father? Haven. Download it now. You will not regret it.
P.S. (message to the creators)
God bless you for creating Haven to help others with their faith, by giving steps and verses it can help strengthen faith and take the blindness from sin away and steer us to the right path, Amen 🙏🏻
by SavannahLynne14
I really hoped that Haven would be free but I completely understand why it’s not. It seemed like it would’ve been an amazing app but I just simply don’t wanna pay each week for it. Good luck on progressing with Haven !!
by Dncjfbd
Haven seems to help a lot of people in understanding Christianity and I wasn’t capable to use Haven since it costs money and a child like me can’t afford to pay. I would suggest some form of ads since I know you do have to make some form of money. Thank you to Thiest Brooks from this recommendation and when I get the money I will come back.

Haven is perfect it has helped me to know about my call as a evangelist and everything and helps me to know about the anointing and it helps with faith and everything I would recommend Haven to anyone who is a fellow believer the only thing about it that I don’t like is you have to pay and sometimes it will say you have no internet when your internet is on but I would recommend Haven it can help a ton
