Each time I open AIAEvents the selections I have made to my schedule are gone. I also cannot filter sessions by timeslot.

Please fix before the event. Hopefully a few days before so we can us AIAEvents to plan.

Continues to not show CE courses that I have signed up for. Asked AIAEvents help desk and they said it was coming. Feels like the Convention will be over before app shows classes

Have entered my conference schedule twice and it’s not there. Takes time and is frustrating. Paper and pencil are saving the day! 😉

I tried to find presentation material on numerous seminars, including the one I presented, and cannot locate them. Heard the same complaint from numerous others.

I need to see how many CEUs everything is worth while building my schedule, but that critical piece of information is missing from “my schedule”! It’s infuriating!!!!

You have to hand it to the AIA. Just when you think the expo organization and app couldn’t get worse they somehow accomplish that.

I made a schedule spending an hour and at the time it was saved but later they were all gone. What a waste of time! AIAEvents also doesn’t show my purchased tours on my schedule.

AIAEvents does not work. I have tried to register for events using it, and at first it looks like it has saved them to my schedule, but if I check back later, they are gone.

AIAEvents is terrible, and app technical support doesn’t help. I am having issues with AIAEvents and no one helps. Is a terrible experience and the conference is around the corner and AIAEvents or their platform via swap card event webpage still doesn’t work.

I was excited to use AIAEvents and to transfer the notes I had taken for the seminar options I had selected. But as many other reviewers have complained, if I bookmark sessions from the full schedule, they’ll show up in my schedule while I’m using AIAEvents , but they won’t show up again the next time I open AIAEvents making it a waste of time for end users.

The practically infinite scrolling of AIAEvents makes it impossible to compare the content of the various sessions so that one can make an informed decision on which session to attend.

It would be great to receive a printed copy of the programs so one can easily and physically flip from one page to another.

In the absence of the above, a PDF of the program would be helpful but nothing - nothing - can replace the experience and ease of use of a physical booklet.

I find it hard to believe that AIAEvents was updated just 1 week ago and that this is the 4th major iteration of AIAEvents (Version 4.43.1). I will happily volunteer to beta test next year's app and provide real world user feedback as a service to our fantastic community of architects and allies. It is a shame that searching for a course number returns incorrect results when rushing to find a session's room number...! That, and many other glitches along with zero in-app help, make me want some of my money back.

I'll stop complaining here, and reiterate my serious offer to beta test next year's app, and encourage AIAEvents 's authors to reach out to recruit ACTUAL potential users ahead of time (starting next month!)

It would be best to allow pre-reservation for sessions to avoid the heartbreak of being excluded from an important one.

Information was hard to find, keep, and track. Should release app sooner and open information sooner.

AIAEvents has a number of problems that make it more work to use than just pencil and paper.
1. It is not pre-populating a session that I paid extra for months ago, and when I search and find it it says CANCELLED. An email to the convention organizers confirmed this is not cancelled but a problem in AIAEvents .
2. There is no map of the venue to show me where the rooms are and how to get there.
3. Since seat reservations are not accepted at any of the continuing education events I need to bookmark everything I’m interested in and then run around the Washington Convention Center (which is one city block wide by three city blocks long) looking for an event that has room for me. There is a seat tracker in AIAEvents but it takes 15 minutes to walk from one end of the center to the other, and without knowing where I’m going the seats will likely fill before I get there.
4. There is no quick way (chat function or bot) to troubleshoot issues within AIAEvents . If any issues crop up I will have to find a human at the giant convention center who can help me.

AIAEvents does not allow for zooming and the grey text on white is very hard to read. The text is also tiny. These are basic app design considerations.

Audio and video could be better. PowerPoint slides formatted too small for large venues. Let presenters know. Captions also obscure images.

I found AIAEvents refreshingly intuitive.
