Nut n Bolt Sort: Color Puzzle Reviews

I really don’t mind ads in games, and I feel like this game is very good at not giving too many, but I have a problem when some of the ads won’t allow me to exit out of them, so I have to close NutnBoltSort . This game doesn’t save my progress (this is especially frustrating with the hard levels) and I have to restart the level. I’m only on like level 30 and this has happened 5+ times already. Again, I wouldn’t mind this if my progress saved, I’m annoyed at having to restart my level when I was 3/4 done with it already.

Ads interrupt play for no reason then play for over I min and trap you to not get back to game, at mid- level : very very annoying and no good reason; also interrupt you for little piles of coins -wait till end. Could be fascinating game but should play ‘still’ without star twirly stuff after every move that also slows play and distracts (At least have an option for clear play). A competitor allows moving wrong color into empty nuts that is more fun than this baby version that only allows correct color to be moved in. Also playing area is very cluttered by game things like tools ads helpers etc that should not cover playing view. Next unwanted ad break will cause me sadly to delete.

Everything seems good but I have realized that some of the extreme challenge levels such as #4 will not load up so I cannot complete it. The color thing is also true though because some of them are super similar and hard to tell the difference here and there.

If it wasn’t for the incessant ads I would give this game a high rating. It’s quite enjoyable and addictive. Unfortunately, not only are there ads after each level but also ads if you need an extra move which you occasionally do. The frequency of ads is so bad that your phone will deem it UNSAFE from time to time. Such a shame.

The ads get stuck and cause lost progress. Super frustrating!

I like the game, but really dislike the timed aspect. Timers should be optional. Also, some of the colors are difficult to distinguish from others.

I like the concept of this game. The one draw back is you have to be very precise when tapping on the screw or it will not engage.

I purposely opened this review and started typing it, went and played the same level for the 4th time and the same ad broke the level and game again.

The ad is tangle rope:twist

The ad opens let’s you click done. Done goes to NutnBoltSort Store you close NutnBoltSort Store and it sends you back to NutnBoltSort for a no stop circle. I was on a hard level and made it 150 moves last 50 ish I bet and have to close the game again. There is no ad countdown to say the ad was incomplete.

I don’t want to try any more because this happened before today too!

Great game, not too many ads, always wish for fewer but I wasn’t mad about it until this kept happening!

I really like playing the game but the Ads are ridiculous! I know you put the Ads in because you are money hungry but nobody cares to watch the stupid Ads. I watch TV while the Ad plays or I close my eyes and count. I totally despise Ads! I wish Apple would put out a deal where we could eliminate Ads for certain dollar amount each year. The game could be so much fun without so many freaking Ads! I don’t want to play the advertised games because I’m sick of seeing their Long Ads that I can’t exit out of!

the game has way to many adds for a start after every level a 30 second add would pop up. Along with in the middle of the game adds would pop up many times. the reason i am deleting NutnBoltSort though is the game started to play itself. i revived myself and me and NutnBoltSort though we should take turns playing until it started to take things into its own hands. the game in fun i will admit but these flaws are annoying and make the game not fun to play.

They need an option to alter the colors or the screws for those of us that can’t differentiate all the colors. Maybe turn the “x” shape of the screws to a “+” on similar colors or use a different shape altogether.

I really enjoy the game but sometimes it’s hard to sort the colors. They’ll pick two colors that are VERY similar so it makes it difficult to sort. I feel like I have pretty good vision but it’s not easy. I feel like those who have even small amounts of color blindness couldn’t be able to play the game. Wish they’d make the colors a bit more obvious.

Also the ads are a bit of a pain but that’s what you get with a free game

I love the game itself, but the ads will freeze and when I have to swipe completely out of the game my progress is not saved. I am deleting the game because of this, do not download this game because losing all of the progress on a super hard level is ridiculous. I know just paying my real money to get a rid of the ad is the point behind this bug and why it hasn’t been fixed. I see other people have already made the complaint and nothing was done. Waste of time game, would have actually been fun if not for this flaw.

I really enjoy this game, but it has some sort of glitch now and is stuck at level 389. When I click to play, it goes to the loading screen and just freezes. Even after restarting, etc. I don’t want to redownload and lose my progress. And there is no easy way to contact someone to report an issue so I’m writing this review instead hoping the glitch gets fixed soon.

I really love this game but it constantly is opening some virus scanning in safari. This is the only app on my phone that does this so it’s got to be tied to NutnBoltSort

I made it to the first “hard” level (7) and had to shut NutnBoltSort down completely twice due to ads that refused to be closed. Since NutnBoltSort does not save progress during a level this forced me to completely restart the stage both times. As fun and calming as it was to play in the first few levels, I will not be going any further as the game is now nothing but rage inducing. If the broken ads are fixed maybe I’ll try again in the future.

If you’re on a hard/large level, and you close out of the game, you lose progress. It would nice to have an auto save option. My game has crashed and I lost progress in a hard level. Those levels take time and we shouldn’t have to keep NutnBoltSort open to hope we don’t lose progress. I’ll give 5 stars if this becomes a feature soon.

I really enjoy this game and while I’m not a huge fan of how frequent the ads come, especially at more difficult levels, it’s tolerable what I HATE is that it doesn’t auto-save your progress, and there are more and more ads that cause the game to freeze, which means that I have to start over. It’s incredibly frustrating!!!

I could play this for hours if it weren’t for the constant interruptions by ads. I would gladly pay to get rid of the ads, but the most annoying ones are those that break into your game when you get a prize. And on some of the ads, you’re caught in a loop that won’t let you back into your game. Not much of a business strategy if you want to keep players around.

I love the game but I feel the daily quests are too hard. To completely them, you have to do like 50 or more levels daily. That’s crazy. I know I don’t have to complete them but I hate that they aren’t reasonable.

Every time I try to play this game the ADS make it crash. Especially the ad for the I can’t untie the knots game. It launches NutnBoltSort Store and you can’t get back to your game in progress. All you can do is close the game and start over. Too bad, it’s a fun game but the ads make it completely unplayable. Deleting it until it’s fixed. Ads are destroying NutnBoltSort Store games.

I really love this game! My only complaint is now that im up in higher levels, they are repeated. Why are we putting the same exact pattern on different levels? Lame

I have been playing Nut n Bolt Sort and really enjoy this game, probably spending too much time playing. I would rate this a 5, but there is a problem with some of the ads. Today I have started a hard game at level 179. I don’t mind the ads, generally, but there are times when it will not let me back to the game when the ad is done, requiring you to close and reopen NutnBoltSort . NutnBoltSort does not save your progress so if you have to do this, you have to start the game over again. I have started this hard puzzle three times because I keep getting the same ad that takes you in circles. And there is no way to contact ABI about this issue. 😣

I just started playing this game and I don’t understand why I’m being forced to watch an ad. I don’t want double money I want to finish my puzzle without having to start over numerous of times. The ad Tangle Rope restricts you from going back to the game. It’s highly annoying and if this is a tactic to get me to buy the ad free…hahahaha I will delete this game before paying for anything. What is even more annoying is there’s no save for when u have to exit to get out of the ad and again you start all the over!!!!!!! This needs to be fixed! Give an option to skip ad bc I don’t care to double anything or just let us play in peace! Why are there ads in the middle of the game! A huge turnoff!

Don’t download NutnBoltSort. It’s very fun and keeps my attention BUT the ads GLITCH EVERY TIME - you cannot close NutnBoltSort link, it will keep taking you to the games site on NutnBoltSort Store. There is no way to return to the game when this happens. When you force quit NutnBoltSort Store nothing happens, still glitches. When you force quit this game, none of your progress is saved so it happens all over again. The developers don’t seem interested in solving the issue as there are multiple reviews citing this same issue. Deleting NutnBoltSort and moving on. There’s no way to progress in the game with this glitch. Don’t waste your time. Would give it zero stars if I could.

I love this game and I play about 35 levels a day. It’s the first game I play in the morning and how I usually end my night. My issue with this game is how the ads will freeze occasionally on
hard levels and I will loose my progress. When this happens, I will be taken back to my progress from the last time I “saved and returned to the home menu”. I constantly have to save the hard levels before reaching “50 moves” just in case the ad freezes leading me to completely close NutnBoltSort .

The ads in the middle of rounds are very distracting, it’s hard to figure out what I was doing, especially on the harder levels. And I’ve currently hit a glitch on one level - the developer has no support function in NutnBoltSort . Finally, sometimes the colors are so close together that it’s nearly impossible to distinguish them. Instead of several light grays and yellows maybe try some blues and purples? Just a thought.

I really wanted to like this game. It has nice graphics and is challenging but after a few games it stops and then it launches your browser out of the blue to this bogus McAfee website saying your McAfee software has expired. At first I thought it was a fluke but after a couple of times this happened I deleted NutnBoltSort. Didn’t want to take a chance on my phone getting malware or getting hacked somehow- you never know. Hopefully the creators will see this and fix if they care…

Love your game, but you really need to remove the ad from Tangled Rope: Twisted 3D. I usually don’t mind the ads, even if It lasts for 30 seconds, but this one in particular is SUPER annoying! You get stuck in a loop barring you from getting back to your game. Only thing that works is to exit out of game then go back in, but then you have to start the level all over again.

This is a nice game but the ads make it literally unplayable at times. They’ll go straight to NutnBoltSort Store no matter how many times you try to close the pop up to download the game and even if you don’t touch anything. The only way to get past them is to close the game entirely and lose any unsaved progress which is especially frustrating on the hard levels. If it wasn’t for this, I’d have no problem recommending the game but as it is now, I just can’t.

I love this game soo much. My only complaints are having to watch ads to avoid having to restart the whole puzzle, when I already paid $5 to be ad free. It’s just annoying. My biggest complaint is that every 50 moves, the present INTERRUPTS your current move to go to the middle of the screen to show you got some coins. I could understand this function if it happened every so often. But EVERY 50 moves ?! It is SO annoying when I’m on a roll and have my next 3 moves planned just to be interrupted and not be able to do anything until the present goes away. PLEASEEEE consider changing this to only show at the top of the screen, not completely interrupt the player’s flow while in the middle of the level.

Overall Im addicted to this game. The only real issue I have is the location of the skip puzzle button. I don’t know if it’s because I’m left handed or something else but I have hit it twice by mistake. Maybe you could add a prompt to ask if we wanted to skip?
Maybe you could also add a brief explanation of what the helps do. I never can remember.
My last issue is with the colors. Some of them, especially the yellows are incredibly difficult to see the difference. The pinks can also be difficult if I’ve been playing awhile.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this game. It’s very relaxing for me and I love the variety of difficulty levels! Great game!

I would give this game a 5 star rating if they would fix some things. I really like the game but it has daily challenges you can’t complete. I am on level 1122 the same puzzles come up over and over again, I have completed all the challenge puzzles there haven’t been any new ones in weeks. In order to finish the daily challenges you have to complete several challenge puzzles but you can’t complete cause there are no new ones and you can’t redo the ones you have already completed. Some of the colors are too close to the same color. Please make some changes.

I love this game!!!!! Yesterday I had to delete it because a pop up kept opening in my preferred browser with a fake url. Once I deleted the game, I’ve had no problems with the pop up happening again. Just thought you should know about it. I downloaded from NutnBoltSort Store.

I am writing because at the end, the picture goes away. As soon as you hit the last one, it is gone. You don’t get to see the picture. Less satisfying than it could be. I want a moment of closure, please. 🙏😩😍 I think a lot of these games would be more satisfying with a few moments to review and admire the finished puzzle. Please? Also, level 8 ends with a yellow open nut and only a blue and black screw to switch. How can I win that? Only with a hint, but that pushes what would be an illegal move… ?? Please enlighten me.

I enjoy playing this game. I would like to suggest that when using a color please at least two tones brighter or lower than original so that people with poor eyesight can figure out the difference.

I really this game, however, the colors are way too similar. If they allowed for zoom in and out and the ability to pick your own colors or make a better distinction between colors…that would be helpful. Close colors do not make the levels hard or challenging in a good way…it makes them next to impossible and I have perfect vision.

I was in the hospital for a few days and I was getting so bored of my games and I kept getting an ad for this one and I loved it! But I’m on level 83 and I’ve been noticing that they’ve been putting two different yellows that basically look the exact same. I do not have glasses and have never had eye problems or color blindness. And I’m not old so my eyes are still really sharp. It’s just annoying because I have to watch like 3 ads to get everything in the right place. And the ad every 50 moves is annoying but I get it you have to make some money with ads but I love it besides that. The color thing also included white and light grey, green and “dark” green, and the two yellows.

I love this game, but I am frustrated by a few things: 1. Getting interrupted every 50 moves on hard puzzles to show me that I get coins. It disrupts my flow. 2. I can’t find anything to spend coins on other than the “extreme” puzzles. Makes #1 doubly aggravating. 3. I’m *really* unhappy that if I go back to the home screen before finishing an Extreme puzzle, I can never go back to it. What is up with that?! Such a bummer. All that said, I *love* the game itself. I have played it waaaay too much this week because I’m having too much fun!
Second update: 4. I have bought all of the Extreme puzzles but the red exclamation mark won’t go away. 5. There is no way to ask questions or get help on the game. The only way I have to ask about this stuff is to write this review.

THIRD update: after playing this game for two weeks, writing a review, and adding to said review (including taking off a star), I would add two things: 1. There is no customer support. How do I spend coins? How do I make the annoying bouncing red exclamation marks go away? When are new patterns coming out?
And 2. It’s all the same patterns over and over. You can “buy” harder ones with in-game coins, but then if you keep,aging, you discover that those are in the regular rotation anyway.

I’m only giving it two stars now because I do love the game play.

Some colors are extremely difficult to tell the hue difference it’s ridiculous. Especially the yellows, I just have to resort to skipping it because they are just impossible to figure out despite the fact that I have good visions. Also, PLEASE get rid of the Solitaire Cash ads. Same ad repeats itself multiple times and then the screen turns black and won’t let you close it EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail, and the only way out is to exit the game and reload, which resets your progress. This is extremely annoying especially when we all know it’s a scammy app advertising as if you can win real $$$ by playing their stupid game.
Finally, I like this game and at level 700+ but the higher the level gets, it’s a repeat of the same patterns and it is very annoying and boring. Please add new ones.

I got this game maybe a few weeks ago and have been ADDICTED. I love just sorting all of the screws or whatever and it is so satisfying for me. I personally love the hard and super hard levels and the challenges because I get to see the picture come together in the top right corner. It also doesn't take too much data (as per when I am writing this) and taking a lot of data is a big turn-off for me in most instances. 10/10 would recommend for my fellow perfectionists, hyperfixators, and people with ADHD.

This is the first review I have written for a game, ever. I haven’t been playing long, but I will repeat some comments I saw before getting the game. I don’t mind ads in a free game, but why do they pop up in the middle of a level? I lose my place and the next move I had mapped out. The colors are way too close to be able to tell the difference…lavender looks like cream and the creams often look like the yellows. I got to level 29 and had to watch an ad to skip it with only 1 open spot. It was cream. I tried to move EVERY yellow and cream bolt to fill it. Nothing in a yellow spot would move. Every cream one just filled an open cream spot. I went through ALL of them 4 times and nothing allowed me to finish the level!!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

You can pay to remove ads between levels, but on the levels they consider increasingly difficult, it pauses you every 25-40 moves to watch an ad. This is so frustrating. The game itself is great- but this constant inundation of ads and while in the midst of a more involved level is not only distracting and annoying- but results in difficulty finding where you left off. There is a button on the bottom left to find it again- but still- you shouldn’t have to do this. Also you’re unable to zoom out to see the larger image and colors so you could more efficiently sort. I’m looking for something similar without these annoyances. I’d be willing to pay to remove THOSE ads and leave the ones between levels there.

I rated this game 5 stars but I beg you to add a cancel option to the skip level button. I can’t count how many times I was on the verge of completing a very challenging puzzle and POW, it’s gone because I must have accidentally touched that part of the screen. So frustrating. But thanks for otherwise great game

I paid MONEY for ad free and didn’t receive any goods! I feel robbed and extremely hurt that I spent MY HARD EARNED money for the benefit of no ads and didn’t get what I spent money on. I still have A TON of ads that I have to deal with REGULARLY! It’s also repeat ads that I’ve never had any interest in adding to my device! It’s the same exacts ones, ON REPEAT! Either give me what I paid for OR refund me my money… do SOMETHING to fix this and make sure it doesn’t happen again! I’d never get ANOTHER app from this developer if they were the only ones left IN THE WORLD!

The ads that interrupt keep glitching and I can’t exit without closing the game completely! This could be a great game if it weren’t for the ads interfering in the middle of a simple play, and it plays the same ads over and over that restarts in the middle of the ad (Solitare Clash) and a couple other ads won’t let you just go back to the game at all. I thought it was just my phone being stupid until I read other people’s reviews and saw it is a problem with the game. I don’t mind watching ads to play, but too many ads that keep getting in the way is a problem. I’m just going to delete it.

I use to LOVE NutnBoltSort. I’d play it split screen while watching shows on my iPad. But after the last update NutnBoltSort forces you to listen to the ads, even if you mute them (this is while using PIP/split screen.) so now I can’t play while watching my shows, because it’s constantly streaming ads on the bottom of the screen. I get that the in app purchase to remove ads is how they make money, but there are pop up ads during each round, and after. The constant ad on the bottom taking over the speaker is too much, and I will be deleting NutnBoltSort .

I really love this game. I have played it way too much. There are a couple things that I find frustrating.
I'm on level 1083. I've never made it past the bronze trophy. I've had the game for about 3 weeks, so I don't think it's because I haven't played enough.
I have long since purchased all the extreme puzzles. Those are my favorite. I like that they show up in the regular rotation with different colors, but I wish there were more. There is now nothing to buy because I'm not a fan of the power ups. It might be that the game is old and the developers aren't updating it as much, which is too bad, otherwise it would be a 10/5 game for me.

I love this game. It makes my brain feel nice. My only complaint is that I finished the entire game and now I'm just redoing old puzzles. I hope they continue to update the game with new levels. I prefer the hard and extra hard levels. They don't have a timer. I can just sort and sort for hours.

Good game. I have enjoyed playing it very much. You recommend it for ages 9 and up. I would not allow my young grandchildren to play it unless you change the advertising. A lot of your advertising is recommended for 17 and older. Even at my age (very senior), I find it inappropriate. And as many others have said, way too many of them. Especially those that interrupt the game play.
Additionally, I was playing one of the hard games. My game play was interrupted 6 times with coins and ads. I might have won it, but now I probably won’t retry, which was an option. I was considering purchasing the ad free option, but your explanation says ads between games. It doesn’t mention ads during games. Please let me know if those will be excluded. I like the game enough to pay, but not if the during game ads are not also eliminated.

I love this game for the most part, but the colors are sometimes way too similar for me to really see the difference (and I’m not colorblind. I’m actually really good at seeing the difference between colors because I’m an artist, but with some puzzles I have to adjust the settings on my phone to even see the difference). I also wish there was an option to zoom in and out instead of having to scroll all over the place to find the right color on the larger puzzles. There’s also a lot of ads in the middle of puzzles, which is understandable but annoying. My main issue is just with the colors and mechanics

I really loved this game, cause it had a different spin on the screw, and bolt game. Well when I got to level 600+ the more challenging parts started repeating itself. I don’t want to take up my space on my tablet, just to keep getting the same challenges as before. So if you can make different challenges that are not repeats then I will download NutnBoltSort again and be Happy to give 5 stars. I Really Hope You Add better challenges. I do want to give the developers a pat on the back for the effort that they put into this game, because I like screw, and bolt games and when they came up with this they did an amazing job.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🫶🏽

I absolutely love this game! If I could change anything they would be - On your challenge pages, I accidentally hit the wrong button on a few and was kicked out, and could never get back in to finish. Let us go back. I’m tired of the same designs. You need new ones! I’ve stopped playing because part of the fun is the discovery of the design. I loved completing Starry Night - beautiful..
