This would be a real fun game to play. BUT, when you move screw, an ad pops up before you can put it in a hole. This happens every time. It would be nice to be able to do at least 2-3 puzzles before those irritating ads start.

Not only are there always too many screws at once and you lock a slot behind an ad. Whenever a piece is partially covering a hole, it does not let you move a screw into it.

And if you need to move one to progress, but all of them are covered, you just lose. There have been many moments where this is frustrating. On a hard level, almost at the end, wood falls in a way where it blocks the only open spot, can’t do anything this I have to painstakingly start all over.

Fix you game.

The game would be fun except that every other round you have to watch an ad that is between 40 seconds and a minute long. I will try playing for a little longer but if 40 seconds of gameplay costs me a minute of ad watching I will end up deleting the game.

I think this is the first game I have seen with an overload of ads. It is impossible to beat a single level without having to sit through 3 long ads… There are levels you cannot beat without having to watch an add to get an extra screw hole. It would be fun to play but it is extremely frustrating sotting through three minutes of ads…

would be great if you didn’t absolutely have to watch an ad to get the extra hole in some levels. I should at least be able to solve the level the extra stuff should only be extra help.

It was addicting at first but then I realized that one of the levels wasn’t even possible without a remove screw or add hole and you have to watch an add to get those
So I deleted it

Good game but does gets headaches if your on it long

I’m clicking the icon. It’s opening the game. It’s getting passed the loading screen. Then I gets stuck on the snowy background. I can kinda see what the play button screen, but it’s faded.

it did not do well at all well at one minute and 55 seconds it just wouldn't let me tap anything it's not my Internet I tried to every house of my friends it didn't work

I’m in level 3(?) and I’m deleting. Impossible to play two of the rounds so far without watching another add. Waste of time.

The game play looks entertaining and the puzzles interesting, but every level is interrupted by a video. No thank you.

I wanted to like this game, and I do in theory but the sheer amount of ads makes it unplayable. Do better.

The game is pretty good but the ads are between 45 seconds to a minute. The game isn’t worth that.

There needs to be an option with out a timer. Only 2 minutes? That’s not possible for the more intricate options. I literally just got this game and I can’t get passed the hard part of level 2 because there’s only 2 minutes. Not everyone can solve a puzzle in 30 seconds. Like come on. Also the holes keep getting covered before I can move the screw and then I have no other moves. It’d be cool if there was an option to tilt the phone side to side to get the pieces to move.

This game is the worst. No reset, unless you have a “ticket” and wouldn’t you know you have to purchase ticket , or win tickets, which are next to impossible to do because the wood prices always fall into a position where you can no longer place a screw. To be able to progress, you have to watch a bunch of videos. It’s one this to watch videos if you choose to get ahead in the game, but in this case you have to or else you are completely stuck with no out. I don’t like reviews, and I rarely read them, and I never write them, but this game is so aggravating, that I had to say something. STAY AWAY! There are far better game options out there!

Game is fun and challenging, but you have the same amount of time for an easy puzzle as you do a difficult one. Not really fair, considering you can only get several additional time extensions before you either have to start over or PAY for additional time. This is very frustrating when you have almost completed the puzzle and are faced with starting over. I may end up just deleting this game because of this.

This game could be so fun, but it’s lacking. Got the first “hard level” on like level 3. These things are nearly impossible to do without watching the ads or paying for “boosts”. I mean come on, there’s 4 different boost options, and it’s easy to need more than one per level. And each boost ad is a minute long. So unless you’re willing to pay to use boosts to pass levels, this is not a fun game. I’d like to know how many people that rated 5 stars spent money on this game to enjoy it.

The most frustrating game I’ve played in a while. There’s a timer countdown, so the “hard” levels don’t give you any time to actually think. Especially since the physics of the game require you to wait for some to fall. Additionally, you can’t even hit replay without spending money on “tickets” or watching an ad. This game is not free to play like it claims and it is absolutely not worth the headache trying to play it brings. There are plenty of similar games

this game has WAY too many ads and all the levels past 2 are literally impossible. also did i SAY too many ads? and then i tried to delete it and it wasn't an option. when you click "delete" "delete app" doesn't come up, the only option is to just delete it from the home screen, now it's just taking up space in my storage. DONT GET WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle

The ad says “best no WiFi game”. Don’t believe it. If you try to play without internet you get a message that says “check connection”. Which means you CANNOT play without internet. I guess if your using cellular data then technically you don’t need WiFi. Still…. Misleading at best.

Otherwise, it is a fun, challenging time killer.

I enjoy the game a lot. Ads are a little excessive but it’s a great strategy puzzle game. Made it to around level 45 and tried the hint…. Made no sense any way I looked at it. Not worth the 30-60 second ad.

I actually really enjoy this game and its challenges. it’s my first screw game so i can’t really provide a good critique on it against its competitors but i think its really fun and addictive. i’m currently on lvl 32 and its the first one ive been really stuck on. i unlocked a hint but i have no idea how to use it?? like its numbers but it doesn’t have further directions. it would be nice if it told you which hole to move the pieces too and the timing at which you should place/remove the screws since this game includes physics. 🤗

I have been replaying the same level for the past few days, today I nearly got to the end (2 pieces left) when the remaining holes got covered up. I’m not willing to start all over again after strategically removing 25 other wood pieces, there should be a button that lets you undo your last move without having to restart the level all over. It would also be nice if there was a relaxing version with no timer.

Really enjoy the challenge but spend too much time watching ads (30 seconds per add). Then have to watch another ad to get the 3rd hole…No way to go back one step if you make an error, got to start all over. Quicker to get out of the game and re-enter.

Started seeing bad ads. Had to watch an ad for almost everything. When levels were difficult and I needed to purchase one more bolt eraser with my tickets it doesn’t give me an option to.

I like the game a lot but I can’t get any extra assistance since the ads do not load correctly. All I get is a blank screen with the bar at the bottom letting me know how long the ad is.

If you don’t complete the next puzzle you have to go back and redo the puzzle that came before. So when you are stuck on a level you have to keep redoing the puzzle that came before it, over and over again which is boring and frustrating. Deleting WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle now.

IF LEVEL 5 IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE I DONT WANT TO IMAGINE ANOTHER LEVEL, I got WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle so I can have no stress but now omg, Level 5 is just so hard and when I was about to do it the time stopped LIKE ITS LEVEL 5😭, ITS supposed to be easy but no man that’s the hardest level I’ve ever played in my entire life couldn’t even make

I would love this game so much more without the time factor. I don’t really care they have an easy level and then a hard one and then just rinse and repeat. I love sitting forever to figure it out. But forcing me to watch a single ad that’s 80 seconds long with no exiting it just to undo a single move… yeah, that’s annoying. Another undo, 30 second ad. That’s fine. And then another 80 seconds. Need another undo? 30 seconds. I think I’m on the fourth or fifth hard level and even now, they basically want you to spend money and they don’t hide it. And all of this is for a single hard level that’s maybe 3:30 minutes long. Why am I spending more time watching ads than I am playing the game? If this is all at level 5, why would I even bother continuing to play? If this was like level 60, I could hear you out on that. This is level 5. If you took away the timed part of levels, I’d be a lot less annoyed. That or installing a “zen mode” where you just play over and over and over while not trying to beat a clock or get a better score. I’m not keeping this because it’s incredibly depressing that even ads on streaming platforms are shorter than the ones in a single game where you undo a move three or four times. When you undo a single move, you don’t get that time back. Wanna restart the level? 50/50 chance you get an 80 second ad.

Got intrigued by the playable ad and of course they start out too easy. Fine. Got a hard level that was super exciting and was happy to keep playing the easy levels until they got progressively harder. Then after level 4 is this ridiculous hard level that I don’t get on the first try. Fine. But I have to watch an ad to retry. Fine. After retrying this bonus hard level a few times, I get desperate and watched more ads to get some power ups. Cycled through that a few times and after retrying this level with power ups several times and watching tons of ads, I finally pass bonus hard level #2. Regular level 5 and. 6? A breeze. Then bonus hard level 3. And the darn thing looks just as annoying as the previous hard level. Now, don’t get me wrong. I love a good hard puzzle you can sit and stew on for 20 minutes. I’m just kinda bummed that to do that, you either have to watch 5 collective minutes of ads or fork out cash just to be able to undo a mistake or have a chance to try again or get more time. Thanks but no thanks. Deleting after posting this review. Adding bonus harder levels with the super easy ones is a great idea, but the scaffolding is horrible.

I do genuinely enjoy this game it’s not extremely easy like other puzzle games and not even puzzle games like this just other games in general but I do like that it’s hard maybe a little too hard but fun, probably can be harder as you play but still fun. What I don’t like is I was just playing a level and I watched a 80 second ad to get a open hole and played more messed up tried to use a booster was watching the ad and the screen just went black. It went completely blank and that was the 2nd or 3rd time that’s happened I didn’t mind the other times cause I wasn’t knee deep in a game but this is infuriating. I have to watch these extremely long ads that aren’t even 30 seconds maximum and went in to watch another ad for the game to completely crash out causing my game to be completely lost. I had to close out WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle come back in and I have to restart and this level is very hard. Very fun game but it can’t crash like this randomly when I’m trying to play then on top of that lose my progress. What if I was at the very end watched ads and everything then it completely bugs out like this? Would be extremely mad fix this, and maybe pace the hard levels a bit really fun but disappointed.

Ok I don’t mind watching an ad or two but this is an insane amount. You only get rewards after like 15 levels and what you get is a ridiculously low reward for the amount of time and the endless ads you must watch. I might even be willing to pay to get rid of the ads IF the rewards you received were commensurate with the effort it took to obtain them but it’s not. After 15 or 20 levels you get 1 or 2 of one of the boosters almost always an undo and if you watch an ad (of course) you can double it so 20 levels and you get 2 undos? And the ads are 1 1/2-2 minutes long and you can’t even mute them. And usually they are for the exact same scammer games touting you can make hundreds of dollars for playing (dubbed game name). It’s beyond annoying.

DEVELOPERS: if you want a successful game cut down on the length and repetition of ads give better rewards so it’s worth the effort of playing and it’s actually possible people might be willing to pay to ditch the ads but nobody wants to pay to get rid of ads and then have to watch endless ads anyway just to get through a tough level!

First off, each levels has a timer. That’s fine and all but the time is so short that you’re furiously clicking on all the screws to try and get rid of all the woods as that makes your critical thinking skills go into overdrive. So, you’re stuck racing against a clock that the fun get flush down the drain causing stress. Not only that, but there are certain blocks that you have to wait on because they’re slowly rolling off the screws and you can’t make it move any faster because the only open slots are the ones being blocked by the same block you’re trying to move. Secondly, if you mess up, you can’t fix it because the undo and all the other things that’s supposed to help players cost real money. I didn’t get a single power-up thing to help me through any of the levels. The third thing is if you did mess up on the hard levels which is a lot of times, you have to repeat the easy level just to do the hard level. And lastly, as many of the other raters on this game, too many ads. I know you want to make money off of this game but you got to make it fun and worth it to play.

Honestly, this puzzle game is genuinely fun and engaging, but if you make two mistakes you can’t go farther, you’re stuck. That’s fine, part of the challenge. But you can’t just restart it without watching an ad or paying actual money for coins. I get putting an ad up to undo a move or get some other extra help, but just to restart? Your other option is to wait out the clock, so if you make your mistake early you might still have two full minutes until it will let you move forward. That’s just too restrictive. At the very least they should let you restart the puzzle whenever you need to OR make it so purchasing WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle will allow you to restart as often as you want. That’s right, buying it doesn’t mean you can actually bypass the ads. It turned this game from a fun one I want to play to a frustration I’m absolutely going to delete. I’ll find something else to play. Too bad because for once the ads were for games that would be interesting to me.

When I pick out a new game, it’s usually because it was an ad in another game and they let me play it and try it out for 20 or 30 seconds. I preferred that business method over if you touch the screen anywhere you get nothing but pop up ads.

I had it for two days and I realize that the ads are a usually a minute long. Sometimes after the ad, the screen changes, and then you get another ad that you have to close before I can return to the game. I played it for a half hour to 45 minutes before I decided to pay to have no commercials. I if five bucks or less can get rid of the advertising, I’m definitely going to do it because I like making sure developers get paid and don’t have to scrounge through advertising. The $4.99 that I spent lasted about two hours. I played it over the weekend and Monday, I deleted it off my phone. I don’t want to watch ads that are longer than each game that I play. The game was really fun. I simply didn’t get what I paid for.

The game is fun and challenging, but it is the same 50ish puzzles just over and over again. The ads are excessive, and long. A 90 second ad, followed by a 15 second unplayable demo, followed by two more screens to exit out of. The ads also crash the game, make it freeze, and I have to force quit WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle and lose any progress I made on that level. And there’s no option to play with no Wi-Fi. Which is ridiculous since it is the same recycled puzzles over and over. Each level consists of an “easy” puzzle, and then a hard puzzle. I would have preferred if each level was just one puzzle, with increasing difficulty, save for a few easy ones for some breathing room. I like the daily challenge puzzles, while they are a different concept, but the response time to the taps is lagging. It’s what I expected from the ad, and also not what I expected.

Harder puzzles take forever to complete because one small mistake makes you need to restart, and restarting makes you watch a 90 second ad. But then each level is a pair, so when you restart you have to do the level before the one you had trouble with again. You sometimes get ads between those two sections of the level, as well.

Of course, you get boosters—but there are no grace boosters and you can only earn them by buying tickets or watching yet another 90 second ad. That goes for all four boosters—one of them being the undo button and another one being the restart button just for that section of the level. It’s egregious and annoying, and it makes this entire app not worth it. I think im gonna delete it, even though I like the gameplay. Ads are wayyyyyy overboard

I started playing the game and it was interesting until I hit the first AD. It was a 90 second AD, at that time I almost quit, but I let the ad play out and I finished the level, and went to the next level. But everytime I needed a bonus or something (I’m not even sure what it was called) another ad played, I cleared another level and approached a more difficult one and I needed something (not sure what, and now I really don’t care). When the next 60 second ad started I quit the program, and deleted it.

After reading some of the other 1 and 2 star reviews I can tell it doesn’t get any better. I would have paid a small amount to remove the ads, but the length of the ads and the amount of ads, and now after reading the reviews to discover that removing ads, does not remove all of the ads, is ridiculous.

I was going to leave a 1 start review but what I did play of the game was enjoyable but it’s not worth my time with the number and length of the ads.

I have deleted this game and will not revisit it. The developers should be ashamed of themselves for their greed. I believe it could have been a well received game, and how it’s gotten 4.5 with the amount of ads just does not make sense to me.

This game is genius, I downloaded it immediately after playing it once through an ad from another game. I know ads are unavoidable, and I am willing to watch an ad or wait through one, if the game is worth it or brings a real reward. This game only allows for a temporary 3 day add removal for $4.99. Unbelievable. So I can’t buy one time and remove the ads forever? If I didn’t read the fine print, I would have paid $4.99 without hesitation. The actual game board is set to a timer so the only way to extend time is to watch an ad or simply start over. I spent more time watching ads then actually playing. Because the timer on the game is shorter than the ad. I would totally buy this game if it gave me some real play time. Instead it’s like playing red light green light. No thanks. I don’t like it anymore. It’s a turn off for me. Greedy developers.

I really like this game - it’s truly a truly challenging puzzle game. My struggle with it is the number and length of the ads. I know I could always purchase tickets to avoid ads, and also that ads pay the creators. However, the ads during this game are often over a minute long and then move to a second ad screen with another count down. The game itself has a three minute countdown, gameplay is often a quarter of the time or less than the ads. There is no “avoid ads altogether” payment option. All of this while there is an ad banner on the screen during game play.

I am sad; I enjoy the game but I am ultimately deleting the game because the ads make it unplayable for me.

I liked the game but not 30 second ads 3 to 6 times during one puzzle. So I paid to have them removed. Keep in mind removing ads only removes 2 forced 30 second ads at the beginning and end of each puzzle. Now after spending 4.99 to remove the 30 second ads, the ads for extra moves changed from 30 seconds long to 60 second long ads. Essentially you are watching the same amount of ads or more because if you use all the extra moves you are now watching over 3 to 4 minutes of ads per puzzle. so don’t bother wasting your money to remove ads. It just makes the ads for moves go longer and you spend more time watching the same ads over and over again until you want to stab your eyes out. Removing the ads is a scam!! The game itself is fun. Too bad the greed ruins it.

UPDATE: nope. Hate it. I just spent time watching an ad to get extra time, an ad to get the extra slot (which is NECESSARY to beat the level I was stuck on) then was greeted with another ad after completing the level. Way too many ads. Sorry, but when you literally have a game that has a timer on it, it seems cruel to have timed ads (that go longer for 30 seconds btw)

I love this game. I first started playing it through an ad and decided to just get the game but I’m stuck on one level because the tiles move SO slowly… and because there’s a timer, it wastes precious time for me. Like, I’m sure I can complete the level if the tiles moved faster so that I can utilize the holes… I get that this is probably a physics thing but the it’s so penalizing with the timer. I’d rather it just time me as opposed to giving me a time limit

The 5 star reviews must be old because I can see how this would be fun in an old version without time constraints. I do like how they pair an easy puzzle and hard puzzle in the same level as a challenge, BUT I cannot get get over the time constraints. I rage quit after failing the easy part of level 15 too many times because it’s just too annoying. I literally had to watch an ad because the last piece fell one second after I ran out of time. You also have to watch an ad to get a bonus hole, which is ridiculous! Some levels it’s needed! It’s basically designed to make you so fed up with the ads you pay to remove them and then buy passes because you’re still getting minute long ads to stay alive. There are plenty of better puzzle games out there. I suggest literally anything but this one.

I play a lot of F2P games and I’m stunned frankly at the amount of ads on this one. While the game looks good and has a clean interface, the gameplay experience is awful. Most mobile games give you tutorials and a couple of free boosters when you start out, but this one requires you to either pay for in-game currency (to then use towards boosters) or watch ads. I didn’t even get two levels in before I had to watch ads to rewind my last play because the level was considerably harder than the previous one. It basically went 0 to 60 within the first level. Deleting this one - it just isn’t worth my time. I want to dissociate when I play mobile games, not get frustrated with the gameplay.

1. Please, for the love of god, change the timings on the levels. Give us 4 minutes on the hard, and 1 on the easy. There have been so many times that I’ve actually only needed like 10 more seconds to complete the hard level after a handful of tries, while it only took me 10 to complete the easy level on my first try. Please, I beg.-——————————— 2. Please make it easier to tell which blocks will collide with each other. Sometimes, it’s blocks of the same color, but this isn’t always true. Different color ones will screw (pun intended) me up, and make me have to restart the level. Please just make the colors signify which blocks have collision with each other.

Filled with fun puzzle and minimal ads, the first couple of levels are really cool however…the further you get.. one hole and swinging planks means watching an ad for the 2nd hole, watching another ad to unscrew only for planks to block any movement. I’m above level 50 so while I enjoyed moving up, it is now impossible to win without excessive Ad watching. Add that on top of ads before and after each board and a time filler becomes a time waster. 3 stars because I did have fun for 2 weeks but sadly I will be deleting the game. More time watching Ads then actually playing is a no-go for me. No Ads forever options available and temporary suspension just isn’t worth it.

WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle is fun, but like mini games issue comes in with the ads one very frustrating aspect about these ads is how invasive they are to your phone. I like watch videos or listen to music while I play games but apparently WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle does not allow that to happen while an ad is playing. They will take over and pause your video or music while the ad is playing and if you trying to unpause your music, it will pause the ad.

I could tolerate the incessant ads better if I had the ability to listen to music or watch a video in the corner of my screen but since that’s not an option, I can’t keep WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle.

It feels incredibly invasive to take control of what is happening outside of WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle

Discovered this game like most of us via an advertisement on another game. Drawn by my affection of puzzles I downloaded WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle . The UI is designed well for iPads so it’s a little clunky, however that is not the reason for a single star. As you progress in the game there are ads at every turn all going for a 60 secs or more. You get locked out and honestly it would be easier to spend that time opening another app.

As a solution there are 2 tiers available for purchase to address this concern specifically are USD $4.99 & USD $7.99. The lower price offers no ads as you go through the levels. The higher priced one removes ads should I choose to redo a level and more. But when I reran the program it all returned to original settings and provided another pop up for no ads, extra lives, and bonuses for a few hours. I would like to genuinely enjoy this game offline ad free and quiet. But would settle for no ads like I paid for.

As the world economy is in dire flux paying $8 to have a moment of solace via puzzles is a big deal. I want my money back.

Save yourself the frustration and disappointment

The game itself is fun…even the super challenging levels that take you multiple tries. The problem is with the ads. Several are 90 second ads and there are more that are multipart ads where the first part is 30-60 seconds, then you close it out Nd a second part opens up and plays for another 15-30 seconds, and then another time you have to x out. It’s just way too many clicks and too much time. Ads should max out at 30 seconds. Any longer than that is a waste and an annoyance that ensured I will never buy or download what is being advertised. Additionally there are a few ads that glitch out and freeze, so you’ve agreed to watch an ad to earn extra time or a game assist and after watching the ad you can’t close the ad without closing WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle , which, you guessed it, means starting the level over. No bueno. Anyway, today I got on to play and the puzzle level comes up with a blank background and the timer running. No bolts, no boards…nothing to do. Timer runs out and I try again…same thing. This might be it for me. Fun concept but too many long ads and glitches, and I refuse to do in app purchases. Oh well.

I got hooked playing the advertisement for this game, but didn’t download it right away. I was hesitant because of the reviews. After several weeks I decided I’d give it a go for myself and downloaded the game. I deleted it once and thought I was too hasty and brought it back out of the cloud. I really like the concept and you have to think about the moves. What I don’t like is that you can get a good feel for playing the real game before you’re faced with big, difficult puzzles by level 4! I can see gradually adding 10-20 pieces but to go from 5-6 to 20-30 plus having a timer that doesn’t give you enough time to scratch adds frustration. Remove the timer and I’d be really happy. You can still run out of moves and have to start over, but why time a puzzle???? Puzzles are supposed to be time consuming and methodical, not rushed and timed and required multiple times with ultra lengthy ads in between….. PLEASE REMOVE THE TIMER and let us enjoy solving the puzzles and running out of moves on our own. Oh and it’s rediculous that it costs to undo a move and that you can’t restart to puzzle when you make an error

I have enjoyed this game a great deal except for two things number one: the ads go on from 28 seconds t60 seconds long and then it some times hard to close the ad out after you are notified the award has been granted . That can take up another 5 or 10 seconds secondly : the special level with the traped animals there are at least 30 screws and you are only allowed 18 moves. I get that you want to make money so if I want to continue I have to purchase screws. If the player decides not to purchase extra screws the little puppies and bunnies fall into fire and burn up(seems extremely cruel). I thought I would be able to skip the level since it’s a “special level” however that doesn’t seem to be an option So this may be my last time playing the game

I would really enjoy this game and give it a much better rating… but… being in my 60’s and wanting to just wind down and enjoy myself while solving puzzles! I do hate that they always stick these timers on so many games with no option to just turn the darn thing off I choose. Id so much rather just take my time and focus on completing them with no errors. Why does “everything” have to cater to the young and hyperactive or the flat out lethargic and decrepit. 🙄🤨 Would be a nice flip if they could just offer the choice and not force it on players. Everyone is different but these games are all the same anymore in that respect. Unfortunately I am quitting very early on due to this annoying feature. I typically stick with a game I enjoy for many years but they’re a rare find these days!! That said, this would otherwise be a challenging and entertaining game that I’d stick with. If you enjoy frustration and speed play than this game is for you, but if you just want to sit back and problem solve without having some annoying timer distracting you then choose another. 🫤

You shouldn’t download this game for these good reasons. First, my first ad was about 80 seconds, nope, your not blind you read that right 80 seconds! That’s a lot for one ad, you can make 3 small ads in that time! My next reason is you need to watch an ad to get another spot to put your screw. That’s wild! You should not have to watch an ad for an extra space, it should be free! It’s like saying, “You need to watch an ad to play this game!” Also, you are timed to play. Like you are timed per level. Some people may need more time so you shouldn’t be timing people! Fourth, there are two levels in one level! The first level is easy but second one is a little more challenging. I think it should be one level per level! It should be like: it gets harder as you go on! My last reason is you need to watch an ad to restart the level! That’s just crazy! You should be able to restart the level for free! I may honestly delete this game with all these bad qualities! In conclusion I think this game is horrible and don’t waste your time downloading it!

Until I actually started playing. SO disappointed. This is Absolutely NOT designed with a casual player in mind, nor with helping to keep an older brain semi-sharp. I am someone who really enjoys puzzles BUT my reaction times are not at all what they used to be; so the EXTREMELY short timers make this game impossible for me. Like so many, many, many other games, it is quite obviously designed as a cash grab. Can you watch an ad to get a little extra time for free? Sure, but you get one and ONLY one shot at it; then it is back to “open your wallet”. I realize that “you get what you pay for” and this is a “ free” to play game (you pay in time watching ads or you pay in money — there should be a free way to “earn” enough extra time or golden screws for as many tries as it takes even if it requires watching multiple ads. This would have been a really good game for my purposes but I am not able or willing to spend the kind of money that would be involved for enjoyable gameplay. I for one, will be deleting this. Such a shame.

I JUST told my bf this is my new favorite game. Love the variety of challenges, daily puzzles and later on get level up boosters on winning streaks. NICE!
Then at level 302 it is a blank game. Counter ticking and nothing to do, losing my streak and literally STOPPED my playing with no other choice but to play another game. No ‘contact us’ to report issues so sorry folks, but everyone gets to hear it in the review since is the only way to let you know.
Please fix. I might even delete and redownload to start over, but that’s a bad app experience to make you do that. NO ONE wants to start over their progress.

Odd that is says 4.5 rating since I only see 2 or 3 star reviews. I agree with everyone else. I like a challenging game but this is ridiculous. Every level starts with a super easy puzzle which can be finished in 6 seconds. Then you wait for the second half which is impossible to complete on the first try. To replay, you need to waste your time playing the the easy puzzle. Each time you make a wrong move you go back to the easy puzzle. Makes it very frustrating. I paid for WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle and still need to watch excruciatingly long ads. I usually give up after several tries not because it’s too hard but because its just frustrating to keep repeating the stupid first puzzle and waste time waiting. I don’t mind having to retry a level but don’t add something dumb to make me feel like I’m solving it in hopes I’ll spend more money to continue. The biggest waste was the money I paid for it.

I got sucked in by the ad while playing another game. I’d give it a 5 star because it’s a fun, challenging little game. However, it freezes multiple times per level. It gives you the option to use a booster to undo a move, remove a stuck board or remove a screw. In order to use the booster you have to use either a magic ticket or a silver ticket or watch a 30-60 sec video. The magic tickets and silver tickets require a credit card to purchase or randomly winning a ticket. If you watch a video it will give you a booster for free. 9 times out of 10 the video freezes and I have to completely exit out of the game, which means I have to start the level all over again. As fun as it is, I don’t think I have the patience to continue to fight the videos and redoing the entire level. Will be uninstalling the game.

I actually really like this game. I only really do puzzle-type games on my phone like this and it’s engaging, challenging and simple without too much flashing lights and moving parts. That being said, the ads are insane. 15 second ads after 40 second ads. 10 second ads before 60 second ads. 80-90 second ads followed by a 10 or 15 second ad. Half the time WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle is open I’m setting down my phone and waiting for another ad to finish playing. These games seem like they’re designed (after a certain while to get you hooked) to be unable to complete without having to watch an ad to get an assist feature. They have an option to purchase no-ad playtime but it’s $5/hr. If the people running WoodNutsBoltsPuzzle see this, I understand ads are how you create income off a game, but please god make it less torturous.

This game is fun, almost addictive if you’re a puzzle fiend like me. I also love the fact that motion and “physics” play into the solving of the puzzles. I could play all day. I could…..HOWEVER, you have to watch entirely TOO MANY ADS. It’s ridiculous. In order to replay a level if you fail (which you will, multiple times) you have to watch an ad. In the three days since I started playing this game, I’ve probably lost a year off my lifespan to watching these ads. If i see another crappy ad for Royal Match, I think my head will explode. I get that they want to get players to spend real money to avoid the ad-watching, but let’s get real. People aren’t spending their money on a phone game when eggs cost $9,000 at the grocery store and whatnot. So enough. Almost a perfect game, but it’s been ruined by these excessive ads to the point the i’m deleting the game just out of frustration. It didn’t have to be like this dawg. 😔

I really love this game which can be challenging but fun. But what takes the fun out of playing is if you want to do something, you have to watch an ad. One ad, Royal Match is 80 seconds long & that’s not even the end of it. You still have to wait a few more seconds for it to load another game then a 5 second countdown before you can ex out of the a, which pretty much ads up to a minute on one ad. Another thing is after you’ve completed one level, here comes another ad. I know the game is free & ad supported but at least let us play 2 or 3 games in a row before having to watch an ad. I may end up uninstalling the game because it’s gotten irritating & the numerous ads takes the fun out of playing!
