I’m trying to login in anyway with my MSG+ credentials whatever happens I get an error. Have to keep resetting password. I cannot watch my games, let alone purchase a plan !?! This is encouraging watching privacy! Please MSG take back control before season starts!!

As bad as MSG + is , at least I can log in. Also , very poor communication rolling this out . My login page is still spinning circles .

I have a YES account. When I enter my email it says it recognizes my account, but then when I enter my correct password, I get an error message. Fix this. Hockey season has begun and Hoops is around the corner:

Subtitles displaying even though they’re turned off, awful stream quality, audio constantly desyncing, and issues linking a TV provider. Went from a perfectly functional MSG+ to an app that doesn’t work.

Absolute trash. Connected my tv provider but cannot access msg. Try live chatting and waiting over an hour with no response. Not sure why we needed a new app when the other one worked just fine.

For the price being charged you’d think you would have a high quality stream but it’s far from it. Watching hockey is a juttering mess with a low frame rate compressed stream. For $30 a month we should have 4k60fps.

Clearly a rushed App rollout. I needed to subscribe to MSG only and did that in my laptop to only login in on my smart tv and it not recognize I purchased already. Same goes on the phone. Also need to add BlueRidge cable for YEs. I have access to Yes on the YEs app through blue ridge login

Every year I have to download a new app to try and watch the Rangers and every year they continue to make it harder and harder with new apps that require a ton of information but still dont work correctly. A shame for people who want to watch their teams on the go.

GothamSports freezes, has buggy caption settings, and shows zero stats. You’re luck if you can log in with your provider and view games. Not sure what they were thinking but they know they have you over barrel if you’re a fan, so I’m not even expecting a response. But I’d think twice before paying for this if you could get it somewhere else.

They need to figure this out. I have a YES account and have both YES and MSG via my TV provider yet that option does not work. Problem with launching either not fully tested or not fully functional features. Terrible app til they fix it.
I hope Apple removes apps from GothamSports store that are below 2.5 starts so they will be obligated to fix their apps. Otherwise, a lot of these developers will continue launching terrible non-functioning apps.

Absolutely terrible streaming app. First it wouldn’t let me pay or restore my MSG+ subscription - the only way I was allowed to pay was through Apple Pay instead of any other credit card I had input. I sent a support request in about this issue and never heard back about my issue. Finally I paid through Apple Pay only to find the actual viewing of the sporting events were dark, dull, and extremely poor quality. Wish MSG+ still had the rights to the northeast sporting events because this streaming service is pure trash to be spending $30/month on. Could not say worse things about GothamSports.

Keep getting error when trying to sign in using my Xfinity account.

Can’t sign into any app on my iPhone or my Roku. Create a login then try connect the TV provider and it still wants me to pay when clearly it says I still have access to over 500 games. Clearly I do not cause once I login and and connect nothing work and it only gives me the yankee and nets, when I want the Rangers!

On every device , every day I have to re sign in and link my tv provider. It makes GothamSports pointless, it’s so sad they can’t release such a simple app without all these stupid glitches that make GothamSports unusable. Please update this and stop making accounts sign out every day !

I downloaded GothamSports on my Samsung TV to watch Knick games but for some reason I can’t log in on GothamSports . An error message pops up that says login with social sign on. I checked to see if my TV is compatible it is. So I called customer service they tell me that the issue is inter with GothamSports it’s like a glitch. The developers have to fix this fast because I can see that I’m not the only one with this problem

App not allowing me to login. It says it recognizes my email as YES but I’ve only ever used Fios account to use YES. I do have a MSG+ that I access via Fios but it’s not recognizing that. Forgot password says I have no account despite Gotham suggesting otherwise. Get this fixed!

I subscribed solely so I can watch Islander games on my Samsung TV. When I try to log in, I get an error message saying my email is associated with a social login, whatever that means. I called customer service and was told that I can watch games on my phone. I didn’t pay 250+ dollars to watch games on my phone. The customer service rep literally copped an attitude and told me all sales are final, it’s a well known problem and to check GothamSports for fixes. I will be on the phone with American Express tomorrow getting my money back. Ridiculous - product doesn’t work and rude and unhelpful customer service.

Been trying for a while to log into my tv provider (I use MSG+, YES! all other apps without issue). First it said I needed to turn off tv provider access in my Apple settings because of some SSO thing. I did that, and now when I log in, it gives an “unable to load the metadata” error every time. Not sure what else to try.

Didn’t recognize my MSG+ login, threw three errors trying to link my FIOS account, only showed the Devils game & wouldn’t swipe to other games, despite the dots below that banner, then when I went to schedule and selected the Islander game, it told me it hadn’t started yet (it’s in the 3rd period). So, after all that, I missed the end of the game.

I have a YES subscription and was able to access in the new app. I don’t have a MSG subscription and it won’t let me add it. Guess I can’t watch the Rangers this season

GothamSports is showing me final scores before I watch a replay. There does not seem to be a way to turn this off. I will not use GothamSports until this is fixed.

MSG+ is just completely missing from GothamSports still. Tv provider is connected but still cannot access anything on GothamSports . Clearly rushed the rollout.

I have a Fubo subscription and according to the new Gotham Sports app, you can sign in using your existing email and password however, when I do, I get an error saying incorrect password.

I don’t have directv stream but I do have directv. It won’t let me change the sign in from stream to normal directv. If it’s free and you fix the problem I will change the review to 5 stars.

Currently dealing with a bug that won’t recognize that provider access is already turned off.

I wish I could give zero stars. I created an account and connects my provider. It says I have access to Yes and MSG but GothamSports shows absolutely nothing from MSG, no games not even the channel. And everything from yes is locked. Everytime I try to watch anything it asks me to subscribe or connect my provider, which I already did. When I try to click it again nothing happens. GothamSports is horrendous!! I really hope they fix it soon! Does it only work for people that pay the ridiculous prices to subscribe directly?

This was clearly not ready for prime time. There are a ton of bugs, the bar won’t go away at the bottom. Half the features are missing. Don’t launch a half baked app with the amount you are charging people

>UPDATE: Ok. I figured it out and it works. Just had to change my Password in the MSG+ App first, which didn't affect my existing sign in for my cable provider.
I shouldn't have had to jump thru hoops for this. I have my passwords stored manually in an address book, typed into my Apple Notes App, and stored into my Passwords App in iOS 18.01. I know my password. Why didn't they?

This crashes several times during Rangers games (commercial breaks only, thankfully). Incredibly annoying.

Just downloaded GothamSports , and while it looks great, there is a glitch. While GothamSports will allow you to subscribe and/or proceed to purchase the service/plans, it will not allow, at this time, you to connect to your TV Subscriber. When you click on the “connect” button - nothing happens. Would be great if this can get squared away.

Comcast Xfinity is not on the list of tv providers

As a YES app subscriber, this feels much more sleek and intuitive.

This is a horrible app and unreliable! I only had to use it because of the issues with optimum. They are rude, unprofessional and make excuses when you ask them to troubleshoot. Avoid this app! 2025 review.

Impossible to access via Roku Premiere. Every other streaming service works fine on Roku. Gotham customer service is woefully useless. Representatives, when you can understand their heavily accented English, have no solutions. Two calls and I was promised call backs to escalate the tech service. I never heard from them again.

The worst app ever. Locked out of my account and have no access to the app whatsoever and they continue to charge me monthly. Absolute rip off. Do not purchase this app.
