Beyblade X App Reviews

I have reviewed this game before and I decided to check up on it again after not playing for a while hoping there were some bug fixes. Last time I mentioned how there’s a bug where my screen does not respond to any inputs I try on the main menu, leaving the game unplayable. To my surprise this bug still hasn’t been fixed and I can’t play the game at all. At this point I’ve redownloaded the old beyblade burst game because that one actually works. Don’t waste your time on this game, stop coping by saying it’s not that bad, and I send my prayers to the psychopaths that still try defending this game.

Game is fine for what it is but, the true stinker is the lack of a point exchange for prize blades like what’s offered in Japan. Not being able to obtain prize blades is such a stingy bummer on Hasbros part. Outside that, an unappealing distraction, the part statistics can be useful sometimes.

Also, collaboration blades don’t show up in BeybladeXApp which is also pretty disappointing, guess it woulda have been to expensive for Hasbro. They could at least keep the same weight on their exclusive blade variants. Takara Tomy keeps winning I guess.

I’d give BeybladeXApp 2.5/5 stars if I could, so 2 it is.

The game is fun, don’t get me wrong. But the power core system is broken. When at level 1 in an all attack or defense power core there is one bar, lvl 2, two bars, 3, three bars etc. at lvl five however, is becomes one big bar that fills the whole side (atk or def). When you reach level 6 it goes back to 1 bar and gives you the ability to tier it up. However, this breaks the game so that if you reset it without tiering it up (which takes resources you may not have) it resets it to level one because they look the same. (Lvl 7 becomes lvl 2) and at lvl eight it’s supposed to turn the two bars into a half bar (half the atk or def side) but it also sees it as lvl three, so it tries to make it both three small bars and one half bar at the same time and softlocks the game. What’s worse is there is no way to stop it so you just end up stuck repeatedly leveling up the power cores until you can successfully tier one up.
Edit: it’s so much worse. I got tier three power cores to levels 5 and 6 and when the game restarted they became tier two level 1. This is insanity. Fix this or the game is genuinely unplayable.

It’s a very good game. It’s fun, it has a good season thingy, the customization is good, but the one problem is the bugs, and the bugs are horrible. It likes to crash on online battles and sonetimes after being open but not being played during the time im asleep. Sadly, if your unlucky, when you have to fully close the game for any reason, there’s a chance when your back on that your good power cores will be downgraded while your gone, so a crash can result in the loss of a lot of effort towards your power cores. I’ve experienced this firsthand. I tried to battle someone, it crashed trying to load the battle, and after the forced relog my max attack silver core was reduced to a level 1 silver core. Creators of BeybladeXApp, if you see this, please try and find a way to fix this, it’s always frustrating to lose core progress I had to go through many full battles for, some of which I had to sit out an entire battle that I will lose for. Also, the matchup system is also bad. Sometimes I get matched with absolute noobs and sometimes I get matched with people who have been playing for months and absolutely wreck me. Please try to balance the matchup system so I can have matches with people on the same level as me without the occasional easy win or brutal loss

I know the game is fairly new and of course there is bound to be some performance issues but this game crashes way too much and way too easily. The fact that it crashes after I do a single offline match and when I try to do a second one. I’ve also yet to complete a single online match due to the game bugging out and eventually crashing. The battles that I’ve gotten to have been very fun and cool looking if the game decides not to crash part way through the battle. It’s not just in battles it’s also crashed just on the home screen. Also please make it easier for use of the X rail there is no tutorial for it and new players only have like half a second to figure out what they have to do. The game will literally be perfect once these issues are resolved.
(Edit) After the update that’s supposed to fix the bugs BeybladeXApp won’t fully load at all. Granted I’m playing on an iPhone 11 so that may be a factor but I shouldn’t have to get a new phone to play a beyblade app

Everything else it at best an OK experience but one of the main focuses, online matches, is just terrible. Unstable connection, bad performance, and once everything actually does work the opponent can just disconnect and for some reason you’re just trapped there waiting. Why am I being punished for another player leaving? You could easily fix this by adding a time limit to how long people can be gone.

I really do like the game. However when players leave during my match it ruins playing so I have to back out the game and restart it otherwise I’ll end staying in game forever on a frozen screen. Also maybe skill based match making or a ranking system should be put into place. Also when ever I play battle league if I don’t wait till around the end people will have an amount of points that shouldn’t be possible it’s infuriating to play ten perfect matches and see a npc with an amount that isn’t possible. I’m glad I’ve gotten back into the series and I do like playing the game in real life. However if hasbro wants beyblade back into the public eye BeybladeXApp needs to be better

The game is awesome i love it except for a couple major things, combat its just basic skill checking the entire fight they took away the constant need for orbs or waiting for specials also the passive fighting of the old game, second bugs and or lack of sound the amount of bugs the game has is quite remarkable getting stuck on the loading screen is annoying the amount of sounds is also lacking i liked the old games constant fighting or sounds going on in the back round, third the skills or cores as they call em i personally would like to see the old skill system back make so we can charge one individually with different orbs instead of skill checking to see whose faster

I’m struggling to say if I really like BeybladeXApp, or I really hate it, so I’m going to make a simple pros and cons list

Pros:
- The menus are phenomenal and the transitions in them are amazing
- The in-game graphics and models are a huge level up from the previous beyblade burst game
- Background music is sick
- No micro transactions
- Fair experience system
- Gameplay is simple to comprehend

Cons:
- BeybladeXApp hardly runs, runs at a lower than expected frame rate while in menus, stutters everywhere, and consistently crashes when I’m trying to load into a game (IPhone 13)
- The font used in multiple menus does not fit the beyblade x ascetic and really gives some menus this janky feeling
- There is a weird lack of sound effects for like half the game, and like the awkward font it makes everything feel very unfinished
- Manipulating and understanding the power core mechanic can be tedious
- The power core buttons in game are pretty large so you can’t even see the other bey (this is just nitpicking though)

This game holds SO much potential, it just needs a lot more time to be finished I believe, hopefully the cons can be taken as a priority in development

The game has mounds of potential but it’s all squandered. Performance is lacking, controls are confusing at best, and worst of all your opponents can just quit the match and you get nothing as compensation. Only a message saying “opponent has disconnected” and it boots you to Home Screen

I want to love BeybladeXApp, I really do, but these are CRITICAL errors that would’ve been picked up immediately by a focus group or beta test. These are rookie mistakes from a massive company

I love a good game I’m a gamer. I beat all sorts of games. I love the game and all but it’s super slow and I do get matched up with really bad people I mean really bad at blading and sometimes I get matched up with a really good players have been playing for months I know I’m kind of copping the only other ones comments but it’s true so I’m just saying

Everything works amazing besides when I want to use a color part for a blade, there’s no way to change the color, I got the purple Soar Phoenix blade there was no way I could equip the color, please fix this Hasbro, but other than that everything else is good though the fact that the launch basically determines the round almost all the time should be changed.

BeybladeXApp is AWESOME! But like all new games it has a ton of bugs. I finished the season pass collecting all the rewards, but I can’t use the blade recolors or the darkness power cores, and I really don’t want to miss out on these things! It took a lot of grinding to get this far.
It doesn’t let me level up my power core either.
If possible could you send me a new darkness power core? My gamertag is BlackThunder#23 I hope these bugs get fixed soon.

This game is well designed, gets updated often, and is just very fun to play for someone who likes beyblade. Although these are fun factors, my only concern/ dilemma with the game, is that when trying to upgrade a power core (The absorb power core) it starts lagging and I get logged out of my game. I have been trying to get this core to level 3 for two days and still no luck. Please fix this design, but other than that, the game is great.

Game is great and all but i feel like it could use some elements from the burst app. Like having the beyblade move around and randomly attack eachother while you charge up and could have like some scenes of when u attack with your special powers while you about to burst your opponent your hit them with the move and make a cutscene of them making contact mid hit and the opponent bursts 😍 this is a recommendation and i hope this is read and taken too consideration

I love this game so much, me and my friend have a blast with it. I do think that it could be better since there are a couple bugs however. I’m sure you want the best gameplay possible for everyone so I think some fixes should be made. Thanks again! 3 2 1 Let it RIP!!!

There is a big bug that will set the energy things back to how they were after you log out of the game, I had one silver with max attack and it went back down to one attack silver, please fix.

So it’s a really good game! All it needs is 60 FPS setting, more sound effects and more animation variations, more fun graphics and fun colorful animations and attacks, add impact frames, and this game will go up by one point. All the glitches there are tbh is when the screen would kinda freeze, like I wouldn’t be able to do anything. (very rarely it happens when I close BeybladeXApp ). One big update is all it takes to make this game 9/10 to 10/10. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I just got BeybladeXApp today and I was about to battle but it crashed 💥on my iPad so what am supposed to do now I was really looking forward to this. I hope you guys fix this problem. I gotta keep trying and trying to get it working. but great work on the next bayblade app. I hope the play it soon.

I like the application. I completed the season pass. Unfortunately you get the rewards but can use them. Like the darkness power core or the changing color. Hope there’s a fix to this. Also when you battle online and the opponent quits you don’t get the exp. And there’s a lot of quitters out there. Maybe a fix for that would be nice. Also sometimes when you battle your friends it glitches out a lot. It even switches out beyblade. Has a lot of bugs but this is an awesome concept and this platform is great!! The graphics are great! 100 percent recommended

Make a beyblade that’s an attack type and name it kratos make the avatar not like the god of war game but something different and make it powerful but not op and make it come with a string luncher and kinda do what you guys did with soar phenox but with a dark red color play it would make me really happy tell me if you need more details to make it and it’s an x bey not a burst bey PLEASE MAKE IT. PS LOVE BEYBLADES
