Milestone Reviews

Several complaints but the biggest complaint is that Milestone doesn’t play through. It stops and skips which completely defeats the purpose of the Milestone .

I’m also suspecting that it’s read via AI since the pronounciation of certain words seem off and the voice is… too mechanical.

I’ve tried other summary apps and all have been better than this one by a mile. Shortform is my favorite and if I plan on getting on a paid summary app, that would be my top choice.

I paid for the year. My app is blank. I have no books, I have no choices and I can’t make choices. I wrote the support and I have not had a response. It worked for two books. I was on the third and as they say….crickets because I have access to nothing. HELP!!!

I have sent more than one request for Milestone to be fixed. I have sent images of what I see…which is nothing. I should be given my funds back if I cannot use Milestone . Especially since I paid a year.

Please fix or refund.

I like having all the books at my fingertips. Not sure why there are 20 different payment plans. My biggest issue is the AI narrator. It sounds almost exactly like the AI narrator on instagram. It’s hard not to zone out. The reads are 20-30 min. I think a real person reading would be much better to help the knowledge stick. I often hear it but have to listed a second time and go back and read the narrative.

Not everyone has always been able to read to themselves and understand.. I’ve totally struggle my entire life. The last 15 yrs maybe the audio started kinda of peeping to the surface.. I’m very appreciative but I totallly hate havin to pay for everything here online and then most take the titles away if u cancel and even paid ur monthly dues. I I think I would maybe be OK with the monthly fees as long as I got to kept keep the titles which I was under the impression that I did and I passed experience I was not able to so yeah, once again I don’t agree with that, but other than that, I do love audiobooks there a lifesaver 💕💕💕💕

I like the book summary has two functions: Read only, and read with text displayed on the screen. If Milestone has highlighted on the text is reading which will enhance the focus to continue on the reading. It would not help me because I got side tracked so many times and unable to concentrate with retaining the information of the book. Thank you.

Great way to get the highlights and cut out the other parts of a book. Just get straight to the point!

I’m glad I have the opportunity to read the summary of this book. It is a great book, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I do. It makes me want to pickup all the pieces I left behind and undone for many years.

I am a writer and author, which means there’s only so much time in a day to consume books I want read. Pearls gives me the ability to grasp the main ideas of books I just don’t have time to read. A great tool when I travel.

As someone who doesn’t enjoy reading, I found book summaries to be a great way for me to gain insightful knowledge about any topic I might be interested in. I would highly recommend Milestone to anyone looking for a better way to gain knowledge.

I’ve recently added a little more to my daily schedule. Add being a husband & father of 2 means less me time. Being able to listen to books that I have a hard time finishing, while driving or doing work around the house. Has been great for me.

I got Pearls because I was tired of everyone at work talking about books I swear I don't have time to read. Now, I can knock out the highlights in 15-20 minutes and join the convo. Plus, it's been great for catching up on the "classics" I've always meant to read but probably never would've. Milestone 's design is super cute, all those pretty covers make me want to read (or listen) even when I'm half-asleep.

Bonus: I listened to How to Talk to Anyone on my way to a blind date, and it saved me some awkward small talk!

Would love to see more popular science books added!

The Pearls provided an excellent summary of the book. I have read the entire book and use this as a test. I’m not sure how to improve it except perhaps more examples. (every concept would help sometimes interesting experiments) even if it made the summary a couple minutes longer.. But all in all all the key points were covered, and if you want a lot of examples, you can pick up this very very thick book. Read the chapters that you. we’re interested in.

Great app - actually helped me set up a reading routine, so now I definitely read more than before and dig deeper in the topics, that I enjoy. It saves a lot of time as well since it gives you the gist of the book and most of the time it’s more than enough to get the idea.

I have had the tremendous privilege to teach Zen to some supremely gifted souls that disappeared by me seeing them and who listened to me be quiet for them. In exchange I dedicated all of my “all in-ness” all the time, all in, and in aware nest with my chilled self silent still painting landscapes and dialogue of inner self-talk, seems we heard Deja vu before now. Again, what was that? Zoom! It goes by so fast! Was that hard?

There are lots of ways to learn how to live a better life with full of happiness and joy, and Milestone just gave to me the ability to read and listening, it’s incredible how the internet technology is changing our daily routine to become better humans and move forward to a wealth future. I am glad to alive and understand that the best future is today. Tomorrow belongs only to GOD.

I got into the audio summaries during a particularly long road trip. It was great! I mean music can be fun too, but it gets tiring after a few hours, so you can mix it up with some learning (just connect your phone to the car and you're good to go!) I also liked the recommendations based on my interests, so it was a fun drive and a form of multitasking. I imagine being stuck in traffic will also make it bearable:)

Milestone saves me so much time and keeps me entertained when stuck in traffic lol The summaries are short yet informative, so i get all the details and save time to boot. Milestone is definitely worth a try if you want to save time🥰

My new favorite app for “reading” and driving. I travel a lot for work, and having access to book summaries on my phone is incredibly convenient. The summaries cover the key points perfectly. It's a great way to catch up on books I've been wanting to read but never had the time for. Now I can get through several books a week without feeling overwhelmed. Milestone is truly amazing for my reading habit!

This is my new reading app. I can listen to book summaries while driving, which makes my commute waaaay more fun. It's like having a mini-library in my car! Milestone is super easy to use, and the summaries are pretty short, beats reading the entire thing i think. Some books take forever to get to the point and a summary will do it better. Now I get all the information from any of the books I've 'read' lol Highly recommend it if you want to feel smarter without the effort!
