Dishonest business practices

Despite cancelling, Mindway continues to charge my Visa credit card and will not refund the charges. I contacted them within (literally) moments of the charge hitting my credit card (I receive text warnings when overseas charges occur). All, be warned that there is no way to manage your subscription in iCloud nor within the app. Attempts to cancel become your words against theirs! There is no cancellation email nor confirmation mail to produce!

I can’t speak to the content of the app, since I didn’t try it for more than 24 hours (though it continued to collect data from other parts of my iPhone).

Should the merchant decide to respond here, past experience would indicate that, despite a professional appearance, this is a dishonest business!

When I purchased this app I got the 1-month plan. There was no subscription noted on the Apple App Store, but I got charged twice the amount I paid for originally. I reached out as soon as i got the charge on my card, and they refused to give me a refund even though I did not purchase a monthly subscription. Overall, the app is not worth the poor customer service. They are just scamming people out of their money. There are a variety of other apps that can provide the same if not better assistance. I would consider other apps before this one.

Update: I have also reached out to their customer service via email. They replied to my email twice and have ignored my follow up emails since. Very unprofessional organization.

Generic solutions & poor customer service

The app does not help beyond giving surface level advice that you probably already knew. Furthermore, there is no way to tell when your subscription ends, so you have no way to track when to cancel it. Even if you go to the App Store to track what your current subscriptions are, it does not show up. Furthermore, when you try to cancel, there’s no easy way to do it on the app. If it’s easy to sign up for an account through the app, there should also be an easy way to discontinue your account. Overall, seems like a sham that’s just out there to get your money. The worst part is they’re preying on people who are struggling with mental health and are seeking an outlet to improve. Would not recommend!
