The old ego power plus app was better because you could Bluetooth connect the nexus power station but this new app is currently not capable of doing so. I will change my review to 5 stars if they bring back this feature. Otherwise, EGOConnect really doesn’t serve much meaningful purpose beyond the website.
With the old Power+ app I was able to monitor my PST3040 generator’s load while in use and charge status. The new app has dropped that support and the old app doesn’t allow logins anymore. Based on reading the reviews on their website the product boxes still advertise connectivity! Thanks a ton for taking away features.
All the Bluetooth control features of the old app with the PST3040 and the quick charger are gone

The main value of the original app was monitoring battery levels when using the power station. Major disappointment.
Just lost the ability to connect to my Nexus Power Station. This was one of the best features as you could tell battery percentage state of charge. Hopefully just a bug?
New app doesn’t connect to Nexus power station like the previous app did.
I got the Nexus power station to use as we lose power quite frequently and the manual clearly states the EGO Power + App is available on IOS and android but this is the only app available to connect my device. I want to be able to view my battery and device health as promised and advertised, and I have many of the batteries for all of my EGO products. Horrible customer experience and not good policy on their part.
Won’t accept QR code not manually entered serial number.
Much better app than their other one, which is an embarrassment. This one has the features that we are looking for with more to come hopefully. Please bring us back or connectivity with the CH7000 charger so that we can monitor battery status from afar. Keep up the good work on this one and don’t fall into the mistakes of the other app. Thanks!

Product registration is very easy with several helpful features like tool maintenance and available accessories. Very useful app.
