Beware of HiyaAIPhoneCallAssistant . I stopped receiving any calls on my phone. Phone never rang, no recorded voicemails and no recent missed calls never showed up. The only way I knew if someone tried to call is if they sent me a text telling me they tried to call. I canceled trial subscription and deleted HiyaAIPhoneCallAssistant . Calls were still not showing up on my phone. You would think that after I canceled and deleted HiyaAIPhoneCallAssistant , and reset the phone that I would start receiving calls again. But nooo. Tried to call app developer. They don’t take calls from the number. Message says is unmanned phone line. I emailed them. The catch 22 is that if someone did try to call you back, you wouldn’t know it because you can’t receive phone calls or notification that they did call. I went through the online support questions myself and found a topic about “what if you’re never receiving calls”. Evidently with HiyaAIPhoneCallAssistant, there is a call forwarding number. Topic said to go into your phone and turn off call forwarding. Did this and now phone works. I don’t usually leave reviews but feel like this is a bug they need to fix. Also, if anyone else is having this problem, hopefully this will help them.
Set up involves forwarding your calls to their call center. I tried more than ten times and it didn’t work. You can see the destination number they are trying to forward to as part of this process, so I tried calling it and it said “This number is not working due to a configuration issue”. They have some bugs to work out. This was in the UK to a UK number on Vodafone.
I put in a trouble ticket help request two weeks ago. No reply. Call screening often connects calls without completing the screening. Which kind of defeats the purpose. No support for two numbers on the same device. Big downside.
I’ve been calling several dealers in my area to check inventory and price on a specific car model. Now I don’t have to take notes about each call— HiyaAIPhoneCallAssistant does it for me and it’s easy to go back and review call details. Thanks!
Spam blocking works well. For me, though, it’s the AI Call Summary that makes HiyaAIPhoneCallAssistant worth its weight in gold! It can take a two minute call, for example, and convert it into a two sentence summary that captures exactly the details I need. Who, what, where, when!
Helps me manage my phone conversations and blocks out spam calls. I love that the assistant screens our unwanted callers and makes feel important by telling me who is calling and why!
