They want way too much information from you before you’re allowed to figure out what the heck Hoppy does. Is it a dating app? A “show”? A new social network? I don’t want to complete a whole profile then sign up for casting without knowing what’s in it.

Woah what the heck happened to Hoppy? I come back from a dating app hiatus to find everything that was fun about Hoppy taken away.
Where are my shows? Where are my friend’s chats? What happened to all my comments? The thing that made Hoppy unique and fun was all the lurking. Now what is this? What’s the point in followers? Also why did the question and response audio get so much shorter? You can hardly say anything.
Hoppy used to be so fun but now it just feels like a regular degular dating app.
This is so upsetting.
Also, who was in charge of renaming this? Out of all the things it could be called… this app? Really. What a weird name.

Really intriguing idea. There should be an option to view and vote without having to create a profile. This is the interesting part but you’re not allowing most people to see it.

honestly i have to say that i am a huge fan of Hoppy!! i usually get bored with dating apps pretty quickly but rizz is truly such a fresh take on a dating app/flirting app.

the ability to speak into Hoppy vs having to type every message is such a game changer and makes it so much easier to WANT to check your messages and respond.

the concept of asking fun, risky, problematic questions is awesome! you get to actually know interesting things about people and there’s not really a filter, there’s also a level of anonymity that makes Hoppy very desirable to use.

i’m personally loving Hoppy and recommend that more people give it a chance!

I’ve been using Rizz for a little over a month now and it’s exceeded my expectations! The chats I’ve had range from fun to flirty and I’ve actually taken one connection off Hoppy to irl. I’ve been on other dating apps where i felt like it’s all just too hookup for me. Rizz really has connected me to new friends and a few irl dates I’ve been on as well. I travel for work a lot and bro g able to chat and meet ppl all over has been a huge highlight for me! Also seeing other ppl (esp cute girls) who they’re talking to / about has been so much fun!!

Once you get used to making voice memos instead of texting it becomes super fun! It’s also so entertaining to read other people’s convos- people can be so funny on here. I’ve also seen a few convos where the people actually ended up meeting up in person which is super cool!

Rizz has a unique approach: voice notes only and some conversations are public. Initially, this felt so wild, but I've come to love the concept and am having more fun than I’ve had on other apps. Hearing someone's voice reveals so much about them. The ability to participate in and learn from other people’s live conversations is also a plus!

Not gonna lie I’m only rating 5 stars for the phone authentication option I was able to use my text now phone number to verify my profile which was good all the other apps are annoying and won’t let you use a text now number

Rizz is unlike any other dating app I’ve used in that it’s voice notes only, and all convos are public. This was daunting at first, but I have grown to love the concept and am having way more fun than on any other dating app. Hearing someone’s voice tells you SO much about them it’s crazy. And the community is really kind and supporting, so having an audience is actually really encouraging :,)

It’s a super fun, modern take on dating apps now. Being able to voice-memo reply to questions makes things super personable. It’s also nice that profiles are hidden at first. It makes you give people a chance you might not have just based off of their pictures. Overall super fun and easy to use!

Ahhh Rizz. I have been on a journey with Hoppy. It started out a bit shaky, but through app updates the experience has become so much better. I like that you can lurk on other people’s conversations and I also like the thought starters provided to give a little inspiration. I have to say, Hoppy is a fresh idea. I like many others am no stranger to dating apps and the whole swipe to match mechanic is getting a little old. I am a huge fan of voice messages (I’ve been converting my inner circle for years to use them in texting) and Hoppy only allows you to communicate through voice messages. I think it’s refreshing to hear people’s voices and hear them laugh irl to your messages. The recent app UI refresh is really nice too.

I like the concept of like having to use your voice to talk with people and communicate. I think it’s also a great place to meet friends and it’s just a new kind of way of bringing social media to dating in a way that is more face-to-face or is face-to-face as you can get from, your phone. Like a lot of people just don’t talk on the phone anymore. It’s just texting and you can’t really tell what someone’s thinking based on text but by voice you really can and I think it’s super cool too cause you can also see other people and who they’re talking to and how they respond to different people differently I think it’s really cool to see that in a dating app like Hinge or bumble where it’s just all textbased and very easy to lie. So if you’re looking for more personal social kind of community when it comes to dating apps, this is definitely the place to be!

i was pretty skeptical of the concept at first but i ended up really enjoying this new take on a dating app. the voice message-only approach allows you to inject a lot more of your personality into chats (as opposed to text only) so you can actually see if you and the other person have chemistry and can hold a conversation before meeting up. it’s the only app i’ve actually met someone off of for that reason. if nothing else, it’s just a refreshing and different approach to dating that you won’t lose anything trying out

It is so fun to be able to see more than just a photo when using a dating app. this app is a great way to not only get to see peoples personalities and opinions but also gain the opinions of your friends in the process. this app is such a great app with so many benefits. I love the video feature because it helps you really get a better vibe of what a person is like in comparison to just pictures on other apps. The whole point of the videos is to ask questions which is a great way to interact with others and get a feel for their personality. the problem with a lot of dating apps is the lack of communication and Rizz changes that. I feel like with Hoppy you could actually get to know people and their intentions before going out with them. Rizz is kind of like a community which is something that hinge or tinder have failed to curate.
Definitely worth a try!

this app has recently been taking off at my university and it’s been so fun! I love making up fun questions and replying to other people’s interesting questions that get me thinking. Hoppy is so much fun!! I definitely recommend.
