Forced ads ruin a good update

I’ve been a glowing fan of this game since it came out. I’ve completed both worlds, gotten all upgrades, and maxed out all gear (golden). The level cap has increased with this update, and there is more challenging content available. HOWEVER, my opinion of this game has changed entirely with full screen, unskippable ads playing whenever you upgrade your character. I tried playing for 10 minutes, and over half of that time has been ads. This is *very* disrespectful game design. Do not engage with this product.

Biggest waste of time

Don’t play. You start from scratch everytime you beat the level. It’s an unfinished huge waste of time. I thought it was fun and played for 5 hours. It had a lot of potential but unfortunately, it’s one of those games that makes you restart the game and lose all your progress once you beat the level. The reasoning is for you to “beat your time”, which is ridiculous because it’s not that time of game. Also, it’s not really an idle game so it’s also misleading. Those 5 hours went down the drain and there’s no incentive to continue with specific rewards.

Downloaded bc of the ad

It was a fun, easy game, easy to understand, and of course it took time to level up, but it was enjoyable to play through and see how things worked…until a sudden update that changed everything, essentially nullified my progress, auto-sold all my equipment, and made it significantly more difficult to understand. It’s a phone game, it’s supposed to be a fun little thing to open and play for a bit. The sudden addition of so many changes that completely changed the game, and deleted my progress was an instant close and delete app. I deeply enjoyed the game for the two days it was playable, and instantly hated it, the second I dealt with the update. 5* to 1*, in a snap.

Pay attention to low reviews

I downloaded this game during its early inception. I spent money on some of the premium content, thinking it would help game play.
I’ve never played a game where, no matter how much time you put in, you can’t get past a certain level for a month. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the creators “upgraded” and made it even more impossible to pass to the next level…and in doing so, made me lose that months worth of progress I had already made.
When I tried reaching out, I received zero response back.
What is even the purpose of this game? Is it to gain access to our private information? I can only speculate, since I can’t seem to figure out what the whole point was to begin with.

You will:
-be frustrated
-waste your money and get pretty much nothing back in return
-receive ZERO response from BloodInvasion makers feedback/contact us option in game

I would recommend NOT downloading.

Fun but too many adds

I’ve been enjoying the game and like the mindlessness of it. I bought the starter pack and thought I’d be done with adds only to every time I want to use my fever mode or gain extra blood they were the same 3 add over and over. I don’t get how on some other similar games no add means just that. I get that it says forced add and that there are skip tickets to buy however that just takes me out of the playing mood. Maybe have a coin value to use fever or watch an add for double the time allowed? That way the player can choose which option they want

False advertising, update bad

First, advertised as ad free, but it pops ads constantly. So middle finger for that. The update adjusting the equipment is fine, but they scaled the enemies far too high to accommodate it, so now where I was I could make due in the area, but now my range is lowered, and the enemy health is astronomical. I can’t stay close to the enemy for 8 minutes to capture a non-aggressive enemy, so what do I do to a boss? Anyway, other than breaking the balance, and the forced ads *false advertising again* it’s a decent game. But those two things together will turn me to other games that are similar that don’t force ads, or dont break their game with bad scaling.

Slow

It’s a great game. One day I opened it and there were a few changes which were fine. But now that I’m on the second level in the village it’s slowed waaaaay down. Takes a lot of blood to upgrade anything and not enough power to collect the souls you need to continue on even with your equipment leveled up. Kind of getting bored running around collecting the same souls just to slightly build up my blood bank to do upgrades to move forward.

Would be 5 star but I can’t figure out how to restore in app purchases

So I played this game for a bit about few days ago and enjoyed it so much that I purchased the no adds starter pack. But after the purchase I didnt get the items, I still got ads, and the game didn’t say I made the purchase so out of frustration I deleted the game. Well, today suddenly my apple account and bank said the purchase went through and “thank you for your purchase” so I redownloaded the game only to see that I can’t seem to restore in app purchases or link the game to this apple account that made the purchase! Not sure what to do here at this point honestly.

a great version of a mirrored game

I have to say, after playing the alien invasion game, (which was fun) I was pleased to see that this game was mirrored after two different types/style games I’ve enjoyed but with a more feminine and gothic twist: For an adult mom, looking for something fun in her spare time during the kids nap times; this is absolutely great. I wish y’all would add competitive games or side missions for fun. but I honestly give it an 8/10; not bc it isn’t good, but bc there’s SO much potential here to add and make it even mot creative and fun.

Good job creators.
I’ve thoroughly been enjoying it. 👌🏼

Some things still haven’t been fixed

I’ve downloaded this game once before the game lagged a lot and froze as well so I uninstalled it left it be…
Now maybe months later I reinstalled it hoping the devs fixed the lagging and freezing up part sadly they didn’t… I really like the game the lagging I know it’s not my end I have good and stable internet connection…
So to the devs please fix these two problems and please add in a save and a bind option as well.. much appreciated thanks

Changed from 3 to 4 stars

The game doesn’t push ads, not pay to win. Took 5hr30mins to beat the knight. After players beat the game they should get a rebirth bonus, like extra attack power, otherwise there is no reason to start over. The bats are helpful, but after like 15 bats they crowd the screen and take away from the players view. I suggest making bats carry more and move faster so players don’t need 20 bats to farm. Finally, the music is so repetitive, the music should change as the players progress. It’s a good game so far.

Just starting out

I’m giving the game a 4 star rating, not because it’s a bad game, but because it’s just starting out. In full support of what’s being done here, but a few things:

I paid for the beginners investor pack to avoid ads and support the growth of the game, yet I’m still getting ads.

While the stages are unique to a story progression that has yet to be known, they are short. I still wander through the two available stages to rack up equipment for further advancement. While you do start off from scratch, one of the two ideas come to mind: tweak the enemy stats a bit to make it challenging if starting from scratch, or add extra layers or hidden parts of a map through puzzles to get to a more difficult boss that hold higher value items.

As of yet, there are no means of gaining gems other than paying for them.

I look forward to seeing advancements in the future.

Stuck under map!

I am enjoying the game but am literally spawning under the map in world 2. Please fix the spawn location to the beginning of the map each time you leave to your hideout or move to world 1.

I have gone to world 1 and used the portal to enter world 2 but since the spawn never resets, it just spawns me back to my last location which happens to be under the map.

please fix

Great Game - But

The first two chapters do not take long at all to complete.

I like the game, it’s not pay to win, and the ads are very manageable. Great work so far.

I like the progression of skills and companions, not overly grindy, but not easy either, good balance.

The problem, with limited chapters to okay, the bosses are on too long of cool-downs. I think they even just patched it to even longer cooldown death timers.

If we had more chapters to play the cooldown timers would not be an issues.

Suggestion: adjust the boss timers to correlate with running available content. Meaning you should be able to run the chapter from start to finish, do the same for the remaining content, and when you are done, the first chapter should be off cooldown.

Otherwise the Dev team is active, putting out patches, we just need the next chapter released.

Fun

I’m enjoying this much more than other games in this genre. Most notably the progression is steadily significant unlike other games where you’re stuck farming for hours to get to the next room.

The bonuses for optional ads are worth it and while there are forced ads, you aren’t inundated by them and are a reasonable length of time

Edit: Glitch - the scavenger bats in the village level do not accumulate blood when offline as described

Wow! Just Wow!

I love this game. It’s simple but rewarding. It instantly gets you invested with its powerful enemies and knowing that you can actually level up your character just makes you that much more eager to do so. It isn’t like these other unrewarding games you may play on mobile. This one truly makes the time you spend playing it worth it.

Fun Fun.

From the ad this game seems very simple. In a sense it is. It is a nice way to pass the time. You do, though by the way, have to unlock a lot of things and there are rewards and you have to work at getting stronger in order to be able to move on to other levels and harder parts of the game. it is definitely a strategy game if you like, semi simple games with strategy, I highly suggest it. Hope this helps!

Absolutely love playing

It's one of the most unique and underrated games I've ever come across. It's very satisfying and addictive to play.

Only critique is the ads popping up in inconvenient times. When an ad pops up without warning during battle, you're surrounded by enemies, by the time the add is done *boom* your character dies. I don't think that's fair. Enemies should not attack during an ad. Depending where you stand of course.

overall 9/10 dope game!

Super Satisfying Gameplay

Great time killer.

It’s all about grinding enemies, increasing stats, and leveling up equipment.

The aesthetic of the game is awesome.

The different abilities you can get with your equipment gives a surprising amount of variety to the gameplay.

Only two levels so far but the devs are clearly actively working on the game all the time. Seems like they update at least every other month.

Saw some people complain about the number of ads but honestly it’s not bad. Like maybe one 5-sec skippable every 4-5 minutes. Unless you choose to watch ads for bonuses. I’ve seen games with way more atrocious ad frequency.

Looking forward to whatever comes next!

So far so good…

Haven’t made it out of the Castle yet but leveling up is quick. Just have to know how to spend the currency, which is “blood”. I’m very happy that it’s a Heroine instead of a Hero… good play there for the demographic!! Look for any updates from my review, if there is anything bad I’ll tell you…
