If you want a no brainer activity and enjoy watching a train go in circles as you hold your thumb to the screen, look no further. Be prepared to be caught in a wave of ads however as you get one once every 30 to 60 seconds. You can choose to pay to remove these ads however for just the “small price” of $9.99 if you like holding your thumb down that much.

You do have a little activity you have to do with making sure you stop at the station to unload, careful not to pass or you may get yet another ad before you get to the station. You also can choose to speed your train up, give it more capacity, add cars or merge the equal cars.

Reaching the second stage will take some time with ads but you can get there eventually, but it feels that if you want to see anything done with TrainMiner , you’ll need to pay up or take forever to get there.

This “game” is going to throw ads at you like they are going out of style. I cleared the first “island” and it took nearly 45 minutes, most of which was due to ads being automatically force played. To which they conveniently place a “No Ads” purchase for you on screen. So that you get fed up at the ads and purchase it.

But the most egregious part is that this game is advertised as an Idle game. Yet you have to sit there with a finger on the screen. Meaning if you are not actively pressing a finger on the screen. Your train does not move and does not make money. This is less of an idle game and more of a waste of resources.

Graphics are alright. Nothing special, but not bad.

Enjoying this game, but there is literally an ad every 2 minutes, so your options are pay 10 dollars or watch an annoying ad every couple of minutes it’s kinda annoying please fix the ad pop-ups or lower the price. I understand ads keep the game free but Jesus Christ.

As I get close to beating Magic Forest level my game force closes and it resets my progress. Other then that one issue I’m enjoying the game.

Thought there was gonna be more to the game but every level is basically the same, it’s impossible to lose a level and you can finish the game in about an hour if you pay for no ads

Repetitious, just holding your finger down over and over and then choosing some upgrades. Now that I finished the first area, I think I’ll pass on future areas. Bye!

Cut down on the ads every about 30 seconds of gameplay and maybe the stars will go up, keep up at this rate and it will be a 1 star game in about a weeks time

Way to many ads. It is also not an idle game. You have to operate the train or it just sits there and you do not earn money when you are offline.

This has to be one of the worst ad ridden apps in TrainMiner Store literally an ad every 30 seconds makes for a horrid game

This game is wonderful and I’d play for hours EXCEPT the fact that every 1 min a pop up ad comes, I’m uninstalling bcuz it messes with my anxiety

But I loathe ads with a passion, and yes you can pay to get rid of them but $10 is really hecking steep. $1.99? Would have bought that immediately. Other then the seemingly endless amount of ads the game it’s self it a fun time waster that really is quick to pick up. And really gives you a sense of achievement

Nice time sink if you don’t mind variously timed ads. One ad will pop up 30 seconds after another or you’ll get lucky and get one whole minute before another pops up. They make you want to pay for ad free but $10 is too much for this

i really love the concept of this idle game. it gives me just enough to do without making it too hard to upgrade or too easy. as many have mentioned, the purchase price for no ads is insanely high. also, i would love to continue to go around the track after i’ve finished. and, i would love a percent progress shown. and finally, i’d love some train customization/looks available! thanks for a great game though

The game might be good but I don’t know. TrainMiner is just an ad viewer that sometimes allows gameplay in between ads that literally show up every minutes. And if you want to remove ads? $10. Yup, it’s more expensive to remove ads on this than the cost of most fully developed AAA studio games on mobile. They’re insane if they think this game is worth $10.

Force closed every time I get close to completion of the bamboo forest

The ads can get annoying but I just turn off wifi then no ads. I just got this game tonight and I am already on the 3rd location. It’s very simple but very satisfying.

In 10 minutes of gameplay, I got 6 ads (I started counting since I was getting so many)… that’s ridiculous. Buying a no ad experience is $10. This could be a good game for turning of your brain if there weren’t constant ads bombarding you. I get they need to make money on a free app but it’s basically unplayable in this state.

1) not idle. Need to have a finger on the screen to play. Doesn’t run in background either
2) can’t idle with a finger anyways because as soon as u lift your finger off u get an ad
3) just a clickbait game to get money off of you, as the levels take longer which means more ads to play!

Well decent for the 60 seconds you play before a 30 second ad pops up, and then another. Then sent to TrainMiner Store, and then maybe 30-60 seconds go and another ad pops up that you can’t skip. Really, all games are a micro transaction now, developers don’t care anymore.

It’s an OK game if you don’t have anything else to do. A little bit boring but not too bad I suppose. The bad thing is there are a ton of ads. If I’m just looking to waste some time while I’m sitting around, there are a lot better choices.

Seems like a fun game but the assault of ads is nonsense. I get the free games make money from the ads. But when I can’t play enough to enjoy the game before having to watch another ad, I delete the game. So, in the end the devs lose the ad views.

The game is fun and enjoyable, despite the ads that come up every 30-45 seconds and last for 15 seconds. They do offer no ads for $10!!! That’s a complete ripoff I would say like $3-$4 for no ads but $10!?

The game itself isn’t bad. However there are incredibly too many ads and every time you move up a level you lose all the coins you earned from the previous.

Hallo! I can’t get the other potions of TrainMiner like support to open so I hope one of the owners sees this.
The game is locked up to black screen on an ad and has been for nearly two days. I enjoy this game quite a bit as I live in Fostoria, Ohio, know as ‘train town USA.’ I wondered if you were aware of the issue and if it could be fixed. I think I’m on the third island at this point.

I’ve seen a lot of comments about the ads being a problem or people PAYING to get rid of the ads. Let me introduce you all to airplane mode. No ads and you can still play. You can do this with most games, but there are some that require internet to play.

Now onto the review, I originally downloaded this for my nephews to play whenever they want to see what kind of games I have, but I have found myself playing it on car rides or while my bf watches whatever on tv. It can be pretty boring, but I like that it’s simple. It’s not a bad game for kids!!

I was hesitant to download at first but not have made it to the coral beach level. I like that I can hold finger on screen and merge/buy with other hand. I summoned $9.99 for no ads and it has been a game changer. I get that it's expensive, but when you look at other games that want $40-60 just for extra coins or stuff like that, a one time whole game charge for $10 isn't bad.

It’s a nice game where not much is involved. I love being able to just hold down with one hand and use the other one to merge and add carts. Bought the no ads think hey maybe the $10 would go towards the multipliers but no that’s stuck behind an ad wall. No reason the “no ads” should be $10 if everything else has as and all you’re paying is for “no pop up ads”. Also why is there no sound?

this game is just another game that all they want is money. they don’t care about the people playing the game, as long as they get their money. I paid 10 bucks for no ads (they have ads because other games pay them to have the ads so more games paying them, or one game paying them a lot, = more ads.) and guess what. they scammed me. I would rather pay around 7 dollars a month for 300+ games with no ads on apple arcade. At least apple actually cares about who buys their offers, because unlike games like these, apple won’t scam you.

As you can tell, there are way too many ads in this game. Like every two minutes, you get an ad. It’s very annoying considering the fact that the game is fun to play and pretty addicting. If there wasn’t as many ads, the game would be so much better and many people would be very happy.

I love this game. It’s very addictive. I only have one issue… it crashes and resets levels. I keep having to play the same levels like 4 or 5 times. That is getting really old and I may stop playing soon if that doesn’t get fixed.

You can get a full game on the Nintendo store for your switch for $10 or less, and this game is asking for $10 just for the privilege of not bombarding you with ads every minute. This game is unplayable, which is sad because it actually is a pretty enjoyable game. I’m not paying $10 for a mobile game. Uninstalled. $10.

I like this game it’s relaxing, fun, and satisfying but it keeps kicking me out and when I go back in it doesn’t leave me off where I was and makes me go back a few level ups.

I really like this game. It’s great to just waste some time. However, every time a forced ad plays, I can’t close out of the ad or trying to get me to download the game so the only way for me to get back into the game is to force close it. The reason that is super frustrating is because when I watch ads for boosts, they work but a forced ad will come up part way through the time and when I force close, it also gets rid of my boost even when I had a minute or more going into the forced ad.

I like the concept, it’s technically not an idle game since it doesn’t keep going on its own but that’s okay. The main issue is there’s way too many ads. It’s like every 45 seconds or so, so I feel like I’m spending more time watching ads then playing the game.

It’s exactly how it looks in the advertisements (in a good way), not too many ads breaking up gameplay, but weirdly enough lacks both sound and music which makes gameplay feel kinda awkward

You can play this game in airplane mode, but only up until a certain point because you will need to watch the ads to get the extra carts.

I've been playing this for a while and I've reached a point that it kicks me out and puts me back in where I might've been 10 or 20 minutes before and I just cannot get past that point anymore. It's the same spot every time and there is no way to save your progress. This is a great game if you have OCD, but I'm going to have to delete it because of these problems.

This is a fun game but the wave of Ads will drive you up the wall. But there is a solution. Stop the mandatory ads. And I believe your playability and revenue will go up. How? I play a game called Idle Banking Tycoon. And they have their gameplay set near perfect. For the most part I do not usually use the Ads but with IBT I use them all the time. Why? Because it feels I’m in control of How many ads I get to see. And now I feel compelled to use more ads because I’m playing them not being forced to see them. Also a level designer would be fun on this.

This is such a great game to kill time. Easy game play and great graphics. I did pay the $10 to remove the ads, and it opened up the game even more for me.
I made it to the bamboo forest level with little trouble. However, it is now crashing and kicking me out after about 5 minutes or so. When I get kicked out, I lose almost all the progress I made in the level.

This game really is fun, but I’ve been having some issues with the basic functions of the game. I love the game, but from some reason I keeps getting kicked out of the game and losing my progress! Not all of it, but it’s definitely upsetting! I don’t know if this is a me problem, but this game may be infuriating for some. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

This game is easy and fun too play however every so often after playing for a while the cut blocks vanish, while still being cut. The game then crashes and returns 30 minutes back. There is a timer that indicates how long it takes to complete the isle, the issue is it counts the time lost towards the actual time spent playing the island. So it’s kinda inaccurate in its own game.

I’ll start out by saying that I did pay to get rid of ads, and I do wish they had more variety of islands because they just keep cycling over and over again.
BUT! This is one of the most soothing and relaxing games that is still so satisfying to play. I’ve found that it really helps soothe my anxiety at night and can even help me fall asleep just watching the train go around the track constantly. Every time I play this after I’ve gotten comfy on the couch or settled into bed (or while taking a little break at work 😳), after about 5-10 minutes I find myself dozing off while my finger is still on the screen and the train just keeps going. You don’t need to watch ads to advance and enjoy the game, but I do think it is very worth it to pay to remove ads. You will still have to watch ads to get power ups, but it is not impossible to play without the power ups!
This might be too simple of a game for people, but if you find yourself needing something to do to just unwind or occupy part of your brain while listening to a podcast or something, this is a great game for that!
(I’m giving 4 stars just because I think there could be some more landscapes added, and maybe even a couple that are symmetrical all around for extra satisfaction)

I enjoy spending a few minutes here and there rolling the train around each island but one thing sticks out that is pointless.
By the time you get to the outside of each island you find the rows of coins not bricks or trees, but
what is the purpose of having the coins that far out if you have all but maxed on the train upgrade and can’t carry the coins to the next island.
What is the purpose of the coins??

I love the game don’t get me wrong. I just wish that they would update it. you keep playing the same levels over and over and it’s getting really boring and maybe if you could buy some of the boosts instead of having to watch ads, please update!!!!

Rated it a 3 star because it’s is a fun game but there are too many ads that pop up even when you’re not expecting them to pop up. I really hate watching the ads. I like that you can skip them, but there’s too many that pop up way too many.

I was enjoying the game, but once I got to the beach level and went to do something else. I could not play anymore. It glitched to the point where you are in the water and you can not move and there is no upgrades. I tried to close the game, but it shows the same thing over and over again. I do not want to uninstall it to restart the game play, because I know I will be back at the first level.

I don’t remember what happened but, I do know that I left the game to go do something else and the next day that I went to open the game the train was glitched in the water down to one level one chainsaw and wouldn’t move. I tried to see if i could reselect a different level or select the same to restart the level there was no option to do so.

I have been playing this game for about one week and yes I agree there are lots of ads at first it seemed every minute but now it like every two trips around. I find it calming watching the train go around and around I even like it when the track shapes around objects I’m still awaiting to see if the track goes behind until it clears it all the way. Maybe even up and under who knows. Anyway it is very calming for me.

This game is fun, and I even paid for the $10 for no ads, but there’s one complaint I have. When I get to certain levels, TrainMiner crashes and part of the level starts over. Most of my progress I made gone. That is what keeps me of giving it a 5 star rating. I don’t know if it’s my phone that’s the problem or if it’s TrainMiner , but maybe TrainMiner needs another update.

I like the game the constants adds are a little annoying but I don’t personally mind. If you are able and wouldn’t mind adding an infinite island one that constantly grows the more you break just for the satisfaction of seeing the train zoom around the map, I feel like the infinite level would be pretty fun except the train station would get further and further away so maybe make the train just auto sell on the infinite map.

I love this game fun addictive just a couple of challenges though one $10 to cut ads is a little much then forcing ads at every action to the point of frustration to force people to pay is a little underhanded and having the game crash if you play offline is just a jerk thing do it’s really turning me away from playing

I love playing this game because it’s so relaxing. But I was very disappointed that the timer was taken off. Now there’s no challenge to it. I like a good challenging game. And how about more levels? And when I say more levels, I mean more levels with different scenery. It’s fun to play, but it gets kinda boring after seeing the same scenery over and over. It’s actually a five star game, but with the way it is now, that’s why I rated it only 3 stars. Other than that, the game is great! Thanks.

One of my favorite games for mobile and for pastime really fun I like it for what it is only thing I wish we had was a way to count our levels. I really don’t know how many levels I’ve already passed. I wish we could go back and see all the levels I have passed that’s my only issue other than that really great game

I have played this game so much I noticed they keep cycling the same levels and it gets very repetitive, i wish you’d add more that got progressively bigger and bigger maybe? I absolutely love this game and i really dont want to get bored with it.

I love your game. I really do but more than half of the reviews that are on this game say that the ads make the game almost unplayable, and I was considering buying no ads option. But then I looked at the price and I was like whoa.. why so much? I understand that you guys are game developers and you know you have to keep it relatively easy to make money, but this is really bad for games like you. I think that if you had the right marketing, maybe you could promote your game in a way that you wouldn’t need all of the ads, but I really do think that the ads are really repetitive and I just wish that you guys would acknowledge that. like have you ever sat down to try and play your game and then realize how many ads there are? I’m sorry but I just can’t with this. If I don’t get a response I’m probably going to just delete the game. I’m sorry, but I think that if you got rid of a lot more of your ads, your game would be way more popular. I’m just saying.

It’s not one of those games like a royal match that’s like oh my God this game is the best no ads it has ads but like it’s really good it’s a great game. It doesn’t have Internet. Also it’s just really sad to hear all of the noises and when you start, it’s actually really boring but like I wouldn’t play for like 15 minutes and it’s amazing, recommend this to your friends. I think you’ll love it if you like games that are like ASMR this is the one for you.

We all understand how “free” games work. Adds pay money or we pay money. I don’t write reviews often, but the amount of ads was egregious! Honestly, super satisfying game. It’s everything as advertised. I don’t even have a problem buying a no ads pack for most games. If it’s $2-$3 ill pay it, if it’s $5 then I better like the game, any more than that… If the ads make the game unplayable then I won’t play. There is potential for a five star with this game, but nobody wants an ad every thirty seconds (not exaggerating) or have to pay $10 to remove them.

Without exaggeration, there is a forced ad every 30 seconds. It is so incredibly annoying and makes the game basically unplayable. I get that developers need ad revenue, but you cannot tell me that the most basic, simple games (like this) need to have an ad after every half a minute to support them. These mobile games & developers have gotten way out of hand with constant, long, forced ads that ruin games, and from now on when I come across it, I’m giving one star. We should review bomb every game that does this until they get the message and stop.

I love this game bc I like how as you cut down more trees the bigger the tracks get and you can make your train longer so you can cut more trees and also it is very satisfying and good for long car rides or on the plane and I suggest you should add a infinite level thank you.

This game is really fun and satisfying. What I love most about this game is that it’s just like the ad that it shows a lot of ads show a game that doesn’t actually look like the real game that your playing, I was really scared that it wouldn’t be the same but it was, again I think this game is really satisfying and I could see myself playing this on a road trip and liking it. The only thing I would say I didn’t really like is the corners of the tracks there are a lot of squiggles and a lot of twists and I’m not a big fan of that but other that that I think this game is amazing and I would recommend if you love satisfying games.💕🥳❤️‼️✨

I played the first levels up until Northland. The game’s repetitive loop was engaging and fun, with my train-enjoying brain drinking in the loop of upgrade, load, spend, upgrade. And seeing actual merge change was nice.

However, upon getting to Northland, it spawns me in the ocean and won’t let me interact with it at all. Restarting and closing the game solves nothing and keeps spawning me in the ocean. So basically, I can play the first three islands and then can’t play any more of the game.

I’ll change my review if this bug is fixed and I can actually experience more than 30 mins of this game.

I was hooked on the game but I had to delete it because it crashed on the third level. I thought it was a glitch so I deleted it and reinstalled it a first time. I had to play the first two levels again which I didn’t mind. But when I got to the third level, it glitched again and the train was in the water. It wasn’t moving when I pressed and held the screen. Closing TrainMiner and reopening it didn’t work either. I’ll definitely keep playing in the future though!

Downloaded and was immediately so excited upon seeing a game that was EXACTLY like the ad I saw! It’s super fun and addictive, but I got to the third map location and it has glitched. My train is in the water off track and it won’t let me do anything. I even deleted and re-downloaded the game and re-did the other two maps to see if it’d correct itself, and it didn’t. Disappointing because I could see myself playing this for hours otherwise. :(

I like how far you can get in one sitting, like I have been playing for a little over five minutes and I’m already in the second area. And too everyone complaining about the adds, turn on airplane mode. Usually works in free mobile games! So if you want to complain about the adds, first try airplane mode. If it doesn’t work, feel free to complain. Again, awesome game!

This game has fun stuff about it and the first review is about a dude falling asleep while playing it. He says it’s cause it’s simple but it’s more like he’s having to wait for ads to play and he is board. The game is super simple and doesn’t give the player anything. All the extras are behind an ad wall and the ads are forced on average every 3 mins. Come on let the player chose to watch an ad or not. Bring in a merchant that you buy upgrades from. Bombs should be findable in chest or something. Seriously this game needs a real player perspective. Plus, with so many forced ads you want to be able to enjoy the game but the NO ads is 9.99 this is crazy. This game is only good to remind you that you can play better games for free and give you the player choices. Developer this is the reason mobile games get a bad rap.

I used to love this game. Wrote a 5 star review a month ago asking to get rid of fireworks on outside edge and bring back coins, which unfortunately was not in the newest update. I’ve also noticed the levels take WAY longer to get through than they used to and it makes the game not as fun and it doesn’t keep my attention near as long. If the levels could be a little easier, or even being able to see the blocks being broken down so we could see the progress in the level would make it more fun. Wish it went back to how it was before the fireworks around the map!

Personally like that this game is kinda mindless. And that it’s still playable offline. The only thing is I would like more areas, since I’m already on my third cycle of the currently available areas. Other that that, it’s quite nice! Edit (August 9th) Despite multiple bug fixing builds, my game is still broken, with the train stuck out in the water. It’s all good as long as the team is working on it, but it’s still sad I can’t play until this bug is actually patched
