I’ve been playing this game for a long time and up until recently I’ve gotten enjoyment from it. Not long ago a message came onscreen wanting me to update and unfortunately not giving me much choice. After update, all my levels played achieved previously are gone and I’m supposed to start over. No. I won’t do that. I’ll delete before I do that. I found the older version on my phone and started back where I was. Now the update message is back and although I’ve tried to get around it, it isn’t giving me much of a choice. Do I start a game I’ve worked at rising in levels for years or do I just delete. I think you probably know the answer to THAT. If I can’t remove that message and continue my game, it’s adios for me.

Lost progression back to level one, ads ads ads ads! No way around update players forced to do so. Not worth the time, it’s no longer a fun relaxing game.

App owners have once again to be greedy and uncaring. Stop playing these games when changes are for their pockets and not for the player. Let them crash n burn on their own dime not ours. Maybe just maybe they will start to listen and out out a product that is beneficial to both player and owner.

Because I’m forced to give at least one star instead of none I’m deleting game for good.

I was so happy playing this game before the last update! Moving the “go back” and the extra tubes was NOT a good idea! Now I hit them all the time moving the balls losing all I collected! No thanks, shame but it’s a delete for me. And after reading other reviews if I’m going to be taken back to the beginning at level 400 which I’m nearing now, I may as well not wait and delete now. Bye bye

Restore the original app!!!!
When I just played water sort, ColorBubble required an update. It updated, but started at level 1 with colored balls. Unfortunately after playing level 1, ColorBubble again updated!!!! And again and again! Geez!
What are these geniuses smoking? I won’t play ColorBubble until they fix it!

Got a pop-up saying an update was required. Installed the upgrade and suddenly I’m back to LEVEL 1! I’ve never had an app lose all progress just bcz of an update! Also, the game looks and acts differently—specifically every time you move a ball where the color matches, it automatically moves any adjacent balls too. That’s not how it used to work—nor how it SHOULD work, in my opinion. DELETE. (Now I’ll be looking for a new ball-sort game…)

As others have said, the update ruined the game. All previous levels lost. I am not starting over as if I don’t know how to play. I will delete. It’s a shame. I had enjoyed playing.

I don’t like that I have to start over — very annoying! And what happened to the consecutive sign-in rewards? Really poor job!

I was playing Color Sort….updated and I am starting from the beginning and lost everything! Not sure what to say???😞

I enjoyed this game and the update destroyed it. The update brought me back to the level I was several years ago. I really don’t think I have a choose but to delete and stop playing this game. Very uncool of the developers and i originally paid for it, it was to be ad free for life shame on you for double dipping. I was over 600 and I'm not starting at the beginning again. You turned a good game into garbage shame on you. Giving you 2 star is too much

This program gives us a new form of ad which cannot be removed from your phone without doing a complete reboot. Of course you’ll be pressing on the X in the upper left-hand corner, thinking that it does something but it doesn’t all of the ads of this style start out with a skip video option in the upper left-hand corner, followed by the X.

Even when it forced me to download this software in the hope that I would be able to remove it. it’s still froze up the application that was running before and I’m going to have to do a complete reboot in order to run that again

If I block up your car and don’t allow you to move it, you’re gonna have me arrested ColorBubble blocks up your cell phone and won’t let you use it again. The authorities need to be notified about this. They need to be arrested and Apple needs to remove them from this websiteis providing us software that does not matter where we are wrong

You start to get into challenging puzzles and it forces you to update …… causing game to start over at very beginner stage. I am over this ridiculous starting over. Fix your issues once and for all.

Wife liked to play this game to challenge her mind but hated all the ads. Decided to pay the 5 dollars to remove ads but the ads are still there. What’s up developer. How about fixing it or giving us a refund.

I paid for ColorBubble, yet I still get ads. Why? How do I get a refund? ColorBubble is fine, but I am getting too irritated by ads to play the game. Come on Apple, put some games in the store that don’t require watching ads. Ok, now I see how it works. I plaid the free game, then purchased to get rid of the ads. Then the game automatically updated to a nicer version, and the ads started again. Then I had to purchase the game again for a higher price. This just seems very sleazy! It’s a very sleazy way to do business. Sleazy. Do not fall for this. Very dishonest.
And, I am still getting ADS!! And more ADS!
Seriously! I want a refund!

I was happily playing this game at level 85x+ when I received a Monticello mid-game that I MUST IMMEDIATELY update the game…. I couldn’t even finish the game I was playing (HOW unnecessarily RUDE!). So, I updated the game, read the entire Terms of Service and Privacy Practice (*please* have a native English speaker edit this for you next time!) clicked on all the acceptance buttons —- and the game reset me to level THREE (3) !!!
You HAVE to be kidding me! There is no way I want to re-play my way back again. Can’t something be done??

I love this game but it is ridiculous that when you fail a level that you get sent back to level 1. That is NOT how to motivate your audience to come back to you. Your developers need to study Human Psychology! I loved this game but deleting ColorBubble now for good.

This was the only relaxing game I had. The noises and sounds are different and irritating. I do mean irritating. The ones before actually helped me relax. I don’t like the bright look either. There should be a choice of color palettes. The balls don’t move the same and I don’t need an irritating celebration each time I win. Definitely not the relaxing game of before. I lost all of my levels. Why? I played this game all the time. Not anymore. I want the old game back!

This was my go-to phone game. Forcing us to update removes years worth of achieving new levels and points. Which is greatly frustrating. This being the case, if I’m supposed to start over, I’ll do so with a completely new and different game by someone else.

Your update has removed all my progress. I’m not starting over again after months of playing. Either return our game progress or I will delete this game and not ever play it again. I will also leave another bad review.

This game has gone from fun to back to the beginning. Not fun!

Deleted the updates. It just kept saying install and I ended up with three APPs of Ball Sort. Lost all my progress from the previous version APP. So I deleted the two new versions. This isn't an update. Its an entirely different game.

Balls move as a group not just one at a time. I paid for no ads and now all I get is ads. Also I lost all my levels of completion. This update ruined this game for me. It was my go to game.
I want my $2.99 refunded.

I was right in the middle of a challenge and just like that all my points and standing - GONE - back to the beginning. Too bad. Get way to past time while doing planes, trains and automobiles. NOT THE WAY TO HARD LAUNCH AN UPDATE!

Loosing terrible changes

Got on screen message to update. No choice. Lost all progress and have to start at level 1 again. I paid for no ads. This update needs to be reversed.

Bad decision: lost all my progress in earlier version. Not impressed with shiny balls transferring together. This was a stupid and unnecessary update. Unless recovering progress possible, I will delete app.

This is crazy I. The middle of playing I get a message to update. It’s not an update it’s a whole new game at level 1. I want my old game back!

I was on level 400+ and the update took me all the way back to the beginning. Also. now all the same color balls move at once. Delete.

This stupid update took all my previous levels!!! I was on level 551! Now with the update I’m on 1 -TIME TO DELETE!!!

I lost ALL 3600+ previous levels. Extremely disappointed.

If an app is going to force me to update i just delete ColorBubble and add GURU to my list of apps to avoid.

Lost my coins snd now I have the annoying Ads!

It's fun but it is really hard to enjoy a game when every other level-literally. There is a 60+ second ad. I got to level 23 and now I'm deleting it.
Creators ruin these games for people by allowing all these stupid ads to run so often. So annoying.

The new version looks great but I would really like to remove it and restore my previous levels. Have played a long time and don’t like having to start over.
Any way to restore it?

I I enjoyed the former version before update so very much. System forces you to update whether you want to or not. I updated and it’s a whole different format. The color end balls are more vivid which I liked. But there’s at least three times more ads than their had previously. I had purchased a no add on a previous app. I refuse to do that again because I just got in and dated with cookies or whatever you wanna call them from other games trying to get me to join. This update is forcing me to check out. You’ve taken all the fun away when I get to play two minutes and have to watch five minutes worth of ads shame on you!

I’ve been playing this one a while, and it seems like the ads are getting WORSE. Longer and longer, multiple ads, every time you try to do something. I’m okay with 15-second ads, better if you can opt out after 5 sec, but really, 60-second ads that you can’t escape?? I’m O.U.T.

Don’t bother to spend money on stopping the ads. They still keep coming and coming and coming.

ColorBubble has way too many ads! I got frustrated quickly and after about 12 levels, I deleted ColorBubble .

Lost all my previous levels. Back at the beginning again. Multiple balls moving at once takes away any strategy. Also, had paid for no ads and the ads are back and more frequently. Bummer. Going to delete.

I was enjoying this game for a long time. Had gotten up to level 342. Played daily. Then I was told that I had to update. When I did this I was dropped back to level 1 ! This is infuriating! Don’t think I care to start all over again.

You may have fixed bugs but you started me back at level one.

ColorBubble forces the player to update about every 20 levels. The updates are NOT improvements. I’m done with ColorBubble . Stay away if you’re new.

How hard is it to make sure a user doesn’t go back to level 1 everytime you make an update? Also, paid for no ad, so either make that correction or credit!

Good game hence the 3 stars but the ads are so intrusive I stopped playing and deleted ColorBubble within minutes. Ads the beginning and end of each level/game would fine but here they are everywhere. I do realize that devs need to make money but to many for my taste.

This is a fun game. My issue is with Royal Match ads. I have to watch 3 to 4 in a row to get my tube to extend. Sometimes it never does. I paid for no ads now the problem is worse? Please fix! It plays the 30 second ad and then I get a message that says “No Ad Loaded”. I have already watch the ad. So I have to do the 3 or 4 more times. Fix these ads. Again it’s Royal Match ads. The fun game is becoming a pain to play. I truly love this ball sort game.

And after playing his hundreds of times —I now have to start from the beginning level.
I was wondering why I had deleted this before looks like I may have to do it again. The game is nice, but don’t make me start all over again.

It’s so enjoyable that I decided to go “ad free” and paid. So imagine my surprise when I clicked for an extra tube and was shown an ad! I want my money back and will quit using this game. Just gotta figure out how😣

With patience the levels up until level 300 are do-able, and enjoyable without needing to watch ads. After 300 there are too many ball colors to be able to solve the puzzles realistically without unlocking extra tube slots by watching ridiculous long ads. This turns the game from fun and challenging into frustrating and tedious/impossible. You would need to watch up to four ads for each level, each of which being multiple minutes long.

The game is easy to play. It is also very relaxing. The game doesn’t cost anything to download or to play.

You earn coins for playtime; however I have not seen anything that the player can do with these earned coins.

It would be great if the player would be able to cash these earned coins out into the blockchain to allow them to either cash out for cash to pay creditors or make purchases from vendors or invest within the blockchain itself.

I have not had any ads that popped up across my screen so that is a good thing. If there are ads, they aren’t of the players view allowing the player to keep playing and focus on their game.
