Blows donky parts, you have to pay to access it with a tiered subscription that only gives you access to Promptchan , then they want you to pay again for the top tier sub. To do any thing. Plus it’s nothing special. Confusing as well. Rip off

I’m unable to sign up for the subscription via Promptchan . When I click subscription it take me to my apple subscripton page in settings showing my current active subscriptions with other apps but no option to upgrade.

Whenever i try to generate something, it gives me an ad that i cannot escape. The X button never works and i have no choice but to close Promptchan , which wastes my gem. Please, i already bought the gem so just make the ads every other prompt or at least let me exit the ad, its not fair. I am using an iphone 15pro, maybe the dimensions arent lined up or something, either that or…….you guys are doing this on purpose and are trying to take our money

Currently keeping Promptchan at 1 star because I can not skip the ads on my newer iPhone. Any iPhone that has the newer control center design with the taller “not rectangle” screen layout will not be able to skip ads by clicking the “X”. Pretty much any iPhone 12 and up.

Promptchan is trash. Every time I try to create an image it says “Version Update Required. Please update to the latest version on Promptchan store to continue creating” even though I’m using the latest version. And when I do press “Go to App Store” button, it takes me to their other App “Edit App”. Hence, it’s literally unusable. I hope they fix this.

Not sure how this has any good reviews, first of all you can’t even use it. I was prompted to join from the browser version with the promise of getting extra gems to my account. I open Promptchan and log in, and not only are there zero gems at all, making it completely unusable, but all my history is gone too. Both in app and in the browser version now. Not just unviewable without the pro version, but gone entirely. It is unusable, and all my pics are just gone forever it seems.

Promptchan worked pretty well, but it stopped generating monthly Gems to the account despite the multiple push notifications claiming gems were added. I purchased gems, but they never loaded into my account. No response from this app Support. I eventually had to have the charge reversed via Apple support.

Even with premium, you still don’t get unlimited stuff😂 it’s my favorite interface, but you can’t convince me to pay 26 dollars for 800 tries, when only like 1/4 of them will be what I want. A gem should only be used when saving a photo, but Promptchan wants you to pay for every stroke. Nonsense.

I had a great first experience. Then a glitch with the upgrade payment. I deleted and reloaded it. Now. When I hit the “create” icon. An ad pops up. No matter how long I wait. The icon to close the ad doesn't work

I don't see the publish button anywhere on Promptchan only the save & share app. Also wish landscape mode was available too.

There was a week in February where this was smooth and stable. Then a while where it would constantly crash and time out. Then updated and worked great! Then upgraded again today and AI seems drastically less accurate.

Rating varies week by week depending on how the servers are holding up and what the updates bring. Hope you catch this in a good week.

Easy and simple to use. Pretty intuitive menu design as well.

If you want manually customizable uncensored imgen: use this app

If you want a highly intelligent uncensored ai AND general uncensored image generation: use something like Chat Uncensored

Promptchan has been great! all the way up until it’s stopped working. telling me i need to update Promptchan . deleted and redownloaded multiple times only for the same outcome 🫠 hoping for an update to fix that so we can get back to this amazing app!

Love the this app website! But tried using the IOS app just after downloading and it gives me a error message “Version Update Required - please update to the latest version on Promptchan Store to continue editing.” Then sends me to a different app in Promptchan Store.

Generally I’ve been quite happy Promptchan. Unfortunately lately it just stopped working. Promptchan doesn’t allow the use of gems instead it tells you to update your software. There’s no update so it push you to upgrade while not honoring the use of gems.

Solid app but the only ways to get gems is to share Promptchan (sorry but no thanks) or buy them (it’s better than most similar products & at a better price) but it could have another feature to benefit both parities
As a task you could watch ads to earn gems, that way those who quit Promptchan after the first free gems will keep producing revenue over time & those who already buy it don’t have to wait the longer time.
Also I was thinking about getting a subscription but I’m quite hesitant to because it says “advanced features” or “all features” but I’m not quite sure what that means. I saw that an ai bot was available but I’m not sure if gifs or videos are possible. If you could clarify that on Promptchan that would probably encourage a lot more people to actually get it.
Overall an amazing quality app but an ad system that gives gems in exchange for viewing advertisements & clarification on what the subscriptions provide would greatly benefit the experience & increase profit margins.

Solid app but have to use gems to use it, but the gems aren’t free but you are able to get more by doing tasks or watching ads

It doesn’t work it loads and loads but then gives an error at the end

I have used a few other image generators and this one is by far the best!
