Roam is great and works, auto connects.
just would like the Keyboard Shortcuts to fully work. the comand funnctions are beautiful. just would also like to use the arrows and select with the arrow keys and ruten on the keyboard. would make my TV part of my labtop and being able to fully control it is nice.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m turning over a new leaf because this product is awesome—and it’s free! I lost my remote control and searched everywhere for it. After downloading a few apps (some of which were bad or contained viruses), I found this gem. Not only is it safe and virus-free, but it’s even better than the remote! I always have my laptop nearby, so I can’t lose it. Roam allows me to switch between streaming services effortlessly, making it super convenient to find new shows and movies. Plus, no batteries required! I highly recommend it!

A previous app update broke a good feature (which has been fixed!) and I reported it. The developer messaged me back and told me they had heard it from others and were workign to fix it.

It’s fast and stable. I can use the headphone button on my desktop to listen quietly to the TV late at night, and I don’t drain my remote battery or need to have it handy. Great app.

This is sooo helpful because I recently broke my phone and I’m getting one for Christmas and I don’t have to worry about my phone being lost And my remote, developer for Roam I love you

I was going crazy for days and this is the only remote app that i downloaded out of desparation that worked. Super easy to use interface for actual normal people, not developers

The problem? Roku Remotes going missing under the bed never to be seen again. I downloaded this, had it up and running in no time and now it's just so convient and works perfectly!

Ive tried the official Roku remote app and it pales in comparison to this. It connects seamlessly even when your TV is off. You can even use your Mac keyboard to control your TV arrows, enter, and type to search. And I haven’t seen any ads yet!

Lovely app, not stuffed with ads or bloat and gets the job done! Note to Developer: I wouldn’t mind like a tiny ad at the bottom of Roam so that I can still use the control surfaces/areas. As long as it isn’t a hyperlink or pop up.

Totally effective and easy to use. As long as both devices are on the same network, there is no set up. Just install, find your name of the source device, and go! Can’t say enough!

I really enjoy Roam. Within a few seconds I can turn my tv on, get to any app, and use my laptop like a real tv remote. It's beautifully designed and the aesthetic reminds me of Roku itself if they themselves were to make an app.

Couldn't be happier with Roam, it allows me to be lazy and control my TV from my desktop without having to get up and grab the remote off my bed less than 5 feet away... How much better can it get? Lol. I messed around in the settings and lost connection to my TV, and the developer was super quick to respond and helped me resolve the issue in no time! Would give more than 5 stars if possible

Faster and easier to use than the Roku physical remote. It has all the apps in the menu and you can go directly to Roam without needing to return to the main menu for ALL your apps, not just the four on your physical remote.

we had lost our Roku remote (thanks to my 2 year old) and so I downloaded Roam on my iphone and it is easy to use. Honestly, it's better than having to constantly chase the remote around. highly recommend when your remote is MIA.

Many advantages over thje Roku hand-held remote: Keyboard can be used for search, all apps/channels are visible and directly accessible, doesn't need batteries. A minor problem is that using the handheld remote while this app is active inactivates keyboard input. Relaunching this app reactivates keyboard input. Support was great, continues to be actively developed.

I work at my desk most of the day with a Roku TV just to my left to binge watch stuff while I get things done. I'm always losing my remote, so Roam has been incredibly handy to just have on my desktop. I especially love that I can navigate menus using the arrow keys on my keyboard.

It does exactly what it says, and it does it well. Even lets you type in searchbars with your keyboard. And tapping keys on a Mac makes for a way better, snappier, faster experience than the mushy rubber buttons on a remote. I might not bother going fishing in my couch next time I lose it.

Finally a Roku remote that enables glitch-free private listening. I love being able to watch certain shows with headphones so i can hear all the sounds and music. The Roku app on my ipad/iphone has this capabilty but it cuts out and messes up every 5-10 minutes. I wish Roku would fix that on their official app as well but Im glad I found this.

I have one issue between my app and the tv's... the private listening won't play sound from the computer. But other than that, Roam response time between the buttons on Roam and the tv is exceptional. Better than anything I've ever tried before. And all the roku apps are instant access. It's the best app of its kind that I've ever tried.

Roam works perfectly! It was easy to setup and connect and it does everything I would expect it to do. Amazing!
