I saw other reviews similar to my thoughts so I’ll keep it short.

Beautiful artwork. Great music. Kept me entertained for something less than an hour. Ok story. And most unfortunate, poor puzzles. Just click and watch your character walk around.

I loved this game, but then I had to delete it so then I wanted to download it again an hour later, so with permission I got it but then this time it asked for account and password, it was treacherous, I’m so enraged I hate it so much now. DEVELOPER, FIX THISSS!!!

This is a beautifully designed, challenging spatial puzzle game that often makes you feel as if you’re trapped within the most complex of M.C. Escher’s impossible geometric masterpieces.

I found myself grinning with delight as I stumbled upon the clever surprise solutions to various puzzles - especially the cube level (about lvl 6 or 7 I think.)

My one warning is that the storyline, mood, theme, and overall feel of the game is pretty depressing and noir. Otherwise I’d fully recommend it for children as a cognitive skills builder.

For example, dialogue includes (paraphrasing)

“Are you the thief little one?”
“All the souls are lost. There’s no one left.”
“She searches for forgiveness.”

And so forth.

Doesn’t bother me a whit, but was a little surprised by all the drama underlying the awesome puzzles, great visual, and soothing audio. Just use judgment.

This game is my favorite and I finished it the day I download it I am so exited for #2 and #3 to come out (hopefully contained in the same app but I get it if it’s not) also please release monument valley 2 before 3 so I can play them in order to

I like the overall feel of the game and it’s a pretty solid puzzle game :)

i used to play this game when i was little and when i saw it on netflix i got so excited i love the puzzles that dont have the other little characters and i was a little disappointed that the farther you get into it that most of the puzzles have those other little characters in it

This is the sweetest, cutest little game. It has this gentle serenity that I find so comforting, and requires thought and skill to advance. I recommend it to anyone of any age.

A wonderful gaming experience! This game is a curious journey of many lessons one has forgotten in life. The timing and place for me when I discovered this game was impeccable. The sounds and art style are unbelievably complimentary. This game could be a masterpiece of puzzle and meditation.

I’ve played this game since I was a little kid and I love it so much. I had it on my kindle fire and my sister and I played it together but I haven’t been able to find it for free since. I’m so excited to play this game again!

I’ve had an iPhone for the last 12 years and have not written a single review on MonumentValleyNETFLIX Store. That said, this is THEEEEE coolest game I have ever played. The art, the puzzle, the perspective, everything. Truly incredible. I was hooked and beat the story mode in an hour. Such satisfying brain teasing puzzles, I didn’t want it to end.

It’s brilliant, it’s beautiful. If M.C. Escher paintings and the book Piranesi had a baby.

I used to play this game all the time when I was younger, then when I saw there was a free version, since I didn’t have the paid version, I got the game and I’ve almost reached the end. Brings back memories, thank you UsTwo games and Netflix for making my childhood. I just hope that the 2nd one also gets added before the 3rd one.

Monument Valley can be relaxing, frustrating and rewarding. It’s one of my favorites as a streamer and gamer. However this is the type of game you should definitely enjoy by yourself. Play it when you have some time to concentrate on what you are doing. The music is relaxing and goes well with the world you immerse yourself in. Highly recommended.
