Jetpack Joyride Classic Reviews

You are given 30 minutes of “guest access” before you must purchase a sub plan to continue gaming. They also toss you a forced ad between each run where they show you all the games available on halfbricks plan. None of the games are worth a sub.

This is a bad port of Jetpack Joyride, the game runs fine but I can’t believe I’m saying this, the ad filled original is better than the ad free version. Unless you feel like playing for hours on end, practically all the content is blocked unless you level up. On top of that a lot of content is not in this version but is in the ad filled version, like what is going on here? Also.. WHERE IS ABRAHAM LINCOLN I’m beginning to sound like a broken record but I still really want Abraham. Pls add this character to Barry’s other games.

As the title suggests, Halfbrick has for some reason implemented a massive paywall to enjoy this prior free to play game. I understand the need to make a profit off of these games, but I’d argue charging a one time fee would be a far more logical and reasonable course of action. Paying $60 a year for an old mobile game is absurd, especially with the quality of the game itself.

The title is a bit misleading. If you’re looking for the older version of Jetpack joyride with the old leveling system, music, etc. this isn’t it. It’s essentially just the current version of Jetpack joyride that there is now without all the annoying events that happen every other week

It was great game when they brought back the classic version of the game it made me happy that I could play the OG version of it but after this most recent update i now have to pay a monthly subscription fee in order to play the game I call that a bunch of bull if they stated that you need a subscription at the launch of the game that's one thing but they didn't now people have a bunch of progress and they don't want to lose it and keep playing so they will pay for it personally i call that a scam and I won't fall for it.

It was really nice, and was like the classic version. However, the weird thing popped up, and is asking me to pay a high amount to “Never see an ad again!” The price is not affordable, so I won’t change my rating, until the orange pop-up thing goes away. Not close to the go version, due to the price it wants me to pay for being ad-free!!!!

It takes everything from the original, makes it add free and gives you every single DLC for free. It’s amazing and all you need to do is just sign up for Halfbrick plus it’s a great deal. 10/10

I remember playing this on my tablet when I was five and now I get to play it at 14 still a great game for my boredom thank you for giving me the greatest game

Back in 2014 ,I was still in elementary school, and everyday I would come home to my ipod and play games. My favorite was jet pack joyride! But I soon forgot about it. But when I heard the classic version was on the iPhone, I practically flew to my phone. I have been playing all week. So happy I rediscovered ancient memory.

Jetpack Joyride has always been one of the best games out there and I had to redownload it to enjoy the fun again.

The S.A.M. Vehicle, just to make the game more like the other regular jetpack joyride game, you should add the 10 other vehicle costumes that S.A.M has from the regular game if possible. Let me show you the vehicle costumes that are missing from S.A.M, -Uncle S.A.M. -Strong Arm Medic -Golden Arm Machine -Scary Arm Machine -Steam Powered S.A.M. -Pirate S.A.M. -Easter S.A.M. -St. Patrick’s S.A.M. -S.A.M.T.A. -Lunar New Year S.A.M. If you didn’t count, there are 10 missing S.A.M. vehicles so if the developer can make that, that would make me wanna give this 6 stars because more things to the game means more to unlock and have fun with. If the developer reads this review, Thank You!

It is extremely nice to play a game that I don't have to watch 8 different ads each time that I play. This port is great 👌. Also I love the idea of halbrick plus.

Bro when I was little I would grind this game and now I’m getting back into it, especially with the original no ad version

This game is awesome I would recommend this to anyone I grew in this game and all halfbrick games so to play it again for another time is really nostalgic

Bro this game is amazing and kinda better than the real Jetpack Joyride because you can actually equip events which is amazing! 😝

Better than original already

Your games are very good halfbrick but do we really need more versions of Jetpack joyride 1? Maybe swap it out with Jetpack joy ride 3 (joke btw)

You know the game. It’s the early 2010s and infinite endurance games are all the rage. This game stands tall as a venerable classic. This version is the current version but with what is in my opinion a super polished progression system with all the advertisements, micro-transactions, and crossover content stripped clean. And I love it. I would’ve happily paid a box price for this version of the game. My only complaint/wish is that they would have the intro tutorial music play on every from-the-main-menu run and have it flow into the classic theme that then loops. I have heard extended versions that merge these two and it is fantastic.
