I got it on a scratchy site (check) when I opened it it faked a IPhone alert saying it detected malware and 10 viruses and when I press the button to delete the “viruses” it said to buy a subscription to it.

SynapseSecurity is a scam. I went on a website and it brought me to download this VPN and said that my malware had been infected and I had two minutes to download the VPN or else my iPad would’ve been compromised.

I was just trying to watch a movie and it said it was free it I downloaded SynapseSecurity and I did. And then it told be I had 10 viruses and a hole bunch of other stuff. And then I told me to PAY FOR IT! Absolutely horrendous would not recommend.

I visited a website that had an ad saying my phone was infected with a virus. The ad mimicked a native iPhone message. Clicking the fix button took me to SynapseSecurity Store to download this terrible looking app. They use dark UX practices to trick people into installing their app and then paying them. How could you possibly trust a company that does this?
