This is a good app but the charts are so poorly labeled that the information’s usefulness is diluted. Two examples from one chart: Annual Cumulative Precipitation
1. According to the chart, we have received 22.9” through July 2. That seems accurate - except that today is June 30.
2. The chart has four trend lines. One is bold; the other three are fine-lined. I assume the bold line is this year (2024) and the other three are the past three years. But none is labeled so you can’t tell which year is which.
The initial graphic on the “Recent” screen is confusing - probably accurate but it’s imprecise. Is there a 57% chance of rain tomorrow and an 82% chance the next day? If so, how much? The vertical axis has no labels.
Good app but (significantly) underdeveloped. I hope they complete it.
I am new to RainTally and not comfortable with it yet. I find it accurate and think in time it will be my favorite.
I love RainTally! Now I can keep track of my exact rainfall total, so I will know how much water I need to give my plants and lawn. Awesome app for gardening!🧑🌾
Its just what I needed. I try to be judicious when deciding to water my lawn and Rain Tally has proven reliable and accurate enough to where I wont need a rain gauge.

RainTally is just what I needed but never knew existed. As a gardener and an angler I use this information to plan my watering schedule as well as planning my weekend float trips.
This is a great app. One of the problems with having a backyard garden is knowing when and how much to water and RainTally helps with that. The interface is attractive and intuitive. Tiles are well organized and provide a lot of information that I can take in at a glance. RainTally is definitely a keeper!
As a gardener I need to be aware of how much water my plants are getting. I have several weather apps but none of them gives me reliable info on how much rain fell. RainTally allows me to set how much rain I need per week (I base it on how hot the weather will be) and then the actual measurements so I can determine how much watering I need to do. I love that it shows me daily amounts and totals for seven day periods. Plus it projects how much rain we’ll get over the next many days. This has become my “go to” app.

You can tell that the developer of RainTally cares about making something to solve a need. Perhaps they are a gardener themselves. They know the struggle of trying to figure out when to water when it hasn’t rained in a while.

Use RainTally to track my rainfall. It is a great app.
I am all about quantity of rainfall. It irritates me that all of the forecasting in other apps do not include the amount of rainfall it should predict. RainTally predicts a very accurate rainfall total for two days ahead and also allows you to enter your own rain gauge totals as you go. I do spend the $10 a year and I love working with RainTally.
This is a great help for managing my lawn irrigation. I have to pay for water. This is a good way to monitor rainfall in order to keep from paying for more than I need.

99% of the time they are spot on a few times has been off by a tenth of an inch but not often.
