I got RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA because I liked the interface. Shortly after it wanted me to pay for the widget. I was going too until a major thunderstorm came up in my area. I went to look at the weather radar and this very nice message told me that weather radar would not work on some devices. Seriously!!!! And then too top it off the message said “we are sorry about this.” I am so glad I didn’t put any money into RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA. If you depend on an app like this to keep you safe and informed...look somewhere else.

There is no permanent setting to avoid the wind arrows on the Maps; they make me nauseous. And since the May 25 update, you cannot even get rid of them temporarily.
You are still forced to see “Windy” each time you open map. You can change the view for that session only; setting changes are not permanent. Worse, you select “Feet” instead of “Metric” but the info is still in mm. POOR DESIGN!

The temp displayed for my city on numerous times now has been so far off compared to every other report/weather app, has me deleting RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA. Just can’t trust it’s accuracy when it’s like 20 degrees off. I see other reviewers reporting the same thing.

This could be the best looking weather app but it fails to score with functionality. Gave it a try and now deleted in preference to the NOAA app with decent radar.

RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA has a cool UI, and a nice widget. I like that the widget includes the date and time with the weather. That seems like a no-brainer that many others get wrong. The problem is that the forecast is useless, and the temperature seems to be off by a consistent 12-20 degrees. Where do they get their weather information? If an app looks pretty, but can't fulfill its primary function, what use is it? None.

Texas at this same ludicrous temp for more than a week. The other cities seem to ok. But a couple weeks ago milwaukee was at over 100 F for several days. Actual temp was around 70.
I can’t use this because of the inaccuracies.

I really like how it elegantly displays a graphic representation of the forecast. However, the data source they use results in an inaccurate forecast making RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA worthless until this fix this. What is the purpose of checking the forecast when the results are inaccurate?

Yes, it's pretty. But that's about it. Fix the weather accuracy (the main purpose for having a weather app to begin with). I've had RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA for months and it's still so very, very off. Fix the bug and the stars will go up. (Not the ones in the sky.)

Downloaded and it didn’t get my location correct. Then entered my US city, population 1/2 million, and didn’t recognize it. Deleted before I ever got to use. Appears a bit “gimmicky” anyway.

Like another review I was disappointed when app tracker told me this was "free". It's free except what you have to pay to upgrade to full functionality like temp on badge and use in notification center. There are plenty of totally free weather apps out there that work just fine without having to pay $4.99. RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA is very nice visually and if the upgrade was only $1.99 I would do it but $5 is a little steep for what you get for your money. Two "basic" features.

Like so many paid apps that you get "free" through apppicker (this one is supposedly $4.99), RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA is free except for what you have to pay for. That makes it average and pretty. It doesn't corner the average-pretty market by any means, nor does it add to the features that my current and entirely functional weather app offers. Delete.

This is a good weather app that needs some polishing. The icons across the bottom are hard to decipher. I get connection errors and RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA does not tell me who owns it. I get the feeling that the programmers are not native English speakers.
The graphics are great.

It’s alright. Weather map always reverts to wind settings after a couple of hours even when other favorite weather parameters are set

I love the style and it's beautiful but the temperature is totally off by about 20 degrees higher than what my other two weather apps shows.

Wish there was a detailed write up of the days weather. The information is there, but not in write up form.

I have a few Weather apps and this one of my favorites.
The only thing I don’t like is I have to keep resetting my settings in RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA .

Love it and using it all the time. Recommend it to everyone.

So much better than Apple iPhone standard issue
This weather app is five stars
And I complain about everything but RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA is above and beyond the rest !

I love RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA itself because of it functionality, but the overall design, other than the amazing globe, could be improved to make RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA even more amazing. The bigger improvement can be done in RAINRADARskyweatherNOAA icon, seriously, being flat and more modern. Looks a poster from an 80’s alien movie :-)
