Interface is not intuitive, and as far as I can tell, all it lets you do is manually log “here’s the time on my watch right now” and then do it again later, and it calculates the difference based on “real” time to give you an estimate of watch accuracy. Does not appear to have any actual “timegrapher” capability to take actual measurements of the function of your watch.
Maybe I don’t understand… I tap for a measurement and ChronoLogWatchAccuracy suggests the closest rounded time to look for in the watch. Is it compensating the difference with the actual time? I know my watch runs at -4s/d but ChronoLogWatchAccuracy gives me different values; I can easily check the drift with the iPhone’s seconds but that’s not what it displays…
Can you add a vibration when you click on the button to register the time? Also can the timing predictions for the next time stamp just be at 0 seconds? Will the paid version include ads? Thanks.
An interesting and affordable way to keep track of your watches accuracy without investing in a timegrapher. One small gripe I have is that when a watches name is long it just continues off of the screen instead of resizing to fit or becoming two lines to fit.
Does basically everything you need it to with minimal ads. The developer, Tyler, was also super responsive to user feedback. I told him some issues I was running into with the user interface and he replied over email the next day and fixed it in the next release.
Easy and pretty accurate. Having a proper way to determine the actual rate and change of my Breitling Avenger justifies my investment in a precision watch.
Timegraphers are good for making adjustments, but ChronoLogWatchAccuracy is essential for tracking your watch’s accuracy in daily wear. The tap to measure feature is awesome.
I love the simplicity and accuracy of ChronoLogWatchAccuracy. It really allows me to see how my collection is accurate and it allows me to reminisce about the watches I’ve gotten rid of.

Very simple but effective app to track the accuracy of watches, especially mechanical ones. The premium version is certainly worth the small cost.
Works well overall. The picture measurements are a bit tough to get right but the tapping works okay. I thought it was a subscription based app but it’s one time
Started using this a few days ago and already learning things about my different timepieces. Nice addition to the toolkit for my timepiece.
I enjoy using ChronoLogWatchAccuracy to track the accuracy of my watch. The developer is also extremely responsive
I like ChronoLogWatchAccuracy a lot and did it to be intuitively laid out. It let’s you record time 2 ways: 1. You can take a pic and then tell ChronoLogWatchAccuracy exactly what time it is in the pic, or 2. You can choose a time in 5 second increments, and then press a button when the second hand hits that mark.
Able to take a picture of the watch face which makes recording times very easy.
Previous review cited issue with premium deactivating, that problem seems to have been fixed.
Great way to keep track of accuracy, would be nice if could use multiple tags eg “just wound + on wrist”.
The only issue that persists is if you do the tap option to record a time segment between 12:00 am and 1:00 am even if you designate AM it will always list it as PM and will be off by 12 hours so you have to go back and manually edit entries.
Fantastic app overall.
Great tool for collecting statistics on watch performance. Not a replacement for a timegrapher (does not measure beat error) but it is a super convenient. Nice layout and easy to use. Can tag data points with watch position (ie, face up/down, on wrist, crown up/down, etc).
Good features for timing. Would also be nice to have a running total of the worth of the collection, since you can already put in the purchase price
I love ChronoLogWatchAccuracy. It’s easy to use and I love being able to objectively know the accuracy of my different watches without much effort. The $3 lifetime cost to get premium is very reasonable in my opinion. Also, the developer is quite responsive to feedback which is great
