First, check your car’s manufacturer for apps specific to your car. I installed this to check if there was anything CarPlayConnect offered that the Audi Connect app does not. The Audi Connect app offers far more info and control of my car than CarPlayConnect provides and I pay nothing for it.

Also, why ask me to rate your app as soon as I open it the first time? That’s ridiculous and makes it feel scammy. This is the primary reason for the numerous low ratings to which you reply for people to contact you making it appear to readers that you’re taking some type of action on an app that is mostly incompatible.

Next, why not provide a web page or info in CarPlayConnect indicating which cars are compatible instead of leading people to spend money trying to find out if their vehicle is supported? You could do better if you wanted to.

Paid the fee & ONLY after I did so THEN I was able to check my 2017 Ford Mustang and that IT WAS NOT a car I could use for CarPlayConnect. Let me be clear…..I could not check prior to paying for this application if my car was compatible. Spent 60-plus dollars only to find out my car is not eligible for this application. No money back & no use for my car. DNU or do not use this application unless you find someway to verify you car model and year is one that applies to CarPlayConnect program. CarPlayConnect is an easy way for CarPlayConnect owner to make money at the expense of a potential customer & then NOT refund your money and you cannot use CarPlayConnect . DO NOT BUY MOVE ALONG SEARCHING FOR ONE THAT IS COMPATIBLE FOR YOUR VEHICLE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT KNOW IT ON THIS SPECIFIC APP UNTIL YOU PAY THEM. And, YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN! Kinda think CarPlayConnect is tossing false advertising out there on the net and on I-phones app purchase program. DNU.

First it stated the vehicle was compatible. After paying for CarPlayConnect , it then said it was not compatible. I canceled this subscription within minutes of purchasing and literally they’ve been trying to take the payment for each new week even though I canceled the very first 15 minutes.

There’s no trial option to ensure that your vehicle works properly with CarPlayConnect and that the features are beneficial. You get to pay and pray whether things work or not.

Expense for a full year is almost $10 a month, which is as much if not more than what you pay with your vehicle .

I was definitely curious and tried to use CarPlayConnect, but didn’t seem worth it .

Paid the fee for CarPlayConnect , went through the process of linking it, and it DOES NOT WORK. Requested a refund, and it’s been denied twice. Should be flagged as a scam as you have to pay $60 to find out if it will work. Run from CarPlayConnect. Do t trust it. Would rate it 0* if possible.

I purchased this to use in my new vehicle as per the recommendations I was given. However, I paid for the service and it would never connect to my vehicle. I was unable to request a refund although I didn’t even use it the first time.

I have been kicked out of CarPlayConnect on several occasions for no reason. One would think that using app for a Mercedes would be seamless at all times. Very displeased wit this technology. This is my 4th Mercedes but this may keep me from buying another one. Even GM apps work more reliably than this…

For one I came to see the reviews since it has a 4.7 rating, but I’m trying to figure out how because most of the reviews are one star and you can’t even tell if your car is compatible before you make a purchase, will not buy and I recommend you don’t either!

It says it’s compatible with Kia but only for a very few vehicles. I went ahead signed up and when I got in there to connect my car, my car is not even on the list. They don’t give you a list before you buy CarPlayConnect . Then when you go to cancel, you don’t get your money back.

I paid the money first before they verified if my car would even qualify for these services. You would think a company would make sure that a customer could even use this service before taking their money. Well it was a waist of $20 bc I can’t even link my car to CarPlayConnect .

Dont get CarPlayConnect, you cant connect your vehicle, you have to pay extra to control ur car, which is a bad deal and idea, just use an official remote control like MercedesME or MyBMW, these kind if apps are garbage and should be removed off CarPlayConnect store. Like nobody is gonna purchase an extra fee to connect your car.

CarPlayConnect doesn’t tell you that you have to have 2019 or newer vehicle and only a few models. They take your money and then tell you..Then you have to figure out how to cancel the subscription. I’m so tired of dishonesty with these apps. I will not be caught again by any of them. Don’t give them your money. It’s nothing but another scam.

CarPlayConnect is worthless but only after you MUST purchase it do you find this out. I have to pay CarPlayConnect to operate but also pay for an On Star subscription for it to work!? But the OnStar app does the same things. I’ll be disputing the charge with the CC company. I’ve already emailed and after reading other reviews expect to never hear back.

After I purchased the subscription, I learned that it definitely was not applicable to my vehicle.

There is no way to check that previously, other than to take their word for it and clearly, as now I am looking at other reviews, this is an ongoing problem/scam. CarPlayConnect should be unlisted from CarPlayConnect Store as it clearly is fraudulent.

This product doesn’t work with my vehicle. I attempted to contact them. They have no phone number for customer service. I emailed the multiple time. They never answer me back. I couldn’t even cancel after one hour of paying CarPlayConnect quite frankly this is a scam I will never ever buy from this company again advise you’re not to work with them.

Would not even give them a star. U bill me but u can’t access my vehicle. What a scam. Reporting to US consumer affairs. This should not be. For a month u having been saying u would gain access yet nothing. People should not use CarPlayConnect. I would hope u would at least refund the money you stole from me as u have not full filled your part of the contract or I will lodge complaint with better business.

You claim you support my car (2018 Camry SE) but then after I subscribe you require I have Toyota Remote Connect and that app will not allow me to sign up because it does not recognize my car as supported for that service.

If you had a free trial period of even just a couple days, this frustration could have been avoided but because I wanted the features you claim to provide, I signed up for the 1 week subscription, intending to expand the subscription if I liked the service but I could not even use it, at all! Now I have to jump through hoops trying to get a refund.

Why on earth would anyone bother waisting their time downloading an app that promises to do something CarPlayConnect won’t. You initial app indicates that CarPlayConnect will lock unlock and remote start. And yet there is no indication CarPlayConnect will start any car. The key fob icon is very misleading there are many apps that will do what your app suggest it will do an free versions that monitor the car stats for for free. If I could I would rate a negative 10 on CarPlayConnect I am not about to pay a monthly subscription fee for something other apps will do for free with out a subscription you app won’t even allow in the free version exactly what CarPlayConnect will do unless subscribed There for your app is misleading and I don’t recommend any one to download apps that require subscription just to see if certain features become available once subscribed. I thought I was getting a company that was reputable. They do not have a phone service. They take around in circles on the car assistance. My car is not eligible for this service and you do not know it until you have paid for this service. No customer service phone number. DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE!!!!!!!!
