Everything is ineligible?!

It’s not- but the scanner says it is. I was scanning products I purchased previously at at Walmart, trying to figure out what would be covered under healthy groceries and what wouldn’t, because it’s often a guessing game. Everything was coming up ineligible. Frozen peas have always been covered… but according to BenefitsPro ? No peas for you! I wanted BenefitsPro to be more helpful than the nations app, but it just isn’t. I’ll go back to checking my balance on the web- no need for an app just for that.

Limited items for online selection

My insurance coverage provides a benefit for Ober-the-Counter items to be paid by a provided debit card. The catalog has many many more items I could purchase which I expected would be included and available on BenefitsPro . BenefitsPro was a disappointment as there were items in the catalog I wanted to purchase using my benefit and were not listed. BenefitsPro is very incomplete.

Not working

Today my card was declined even though I do have money, so I come on BenefitsPro to check and make sure the store (food lion) is an approved store and it doesn’t work. I tried over and over but it says no wallet selected but there’s no way to select it.

Scanning is Useless

I have tried Scanning at CVS three times with BenefitsPro since the upgrade, and it finds no products are eligible. Yet I have been able to use my OTC card to make purchases. When I got home, knowing I purchased items with my card, I tried scanning and also entering the bar code manually, and the products still showed ineligibility! The fail recognition works fine, but that just lets you access a terrible app.

I wanna switch back

This is my 1st time have atnea and I’ve had nothing but problems they sent my cards out November 18 the middle of December I haven’t yet received my cards I received them the last week of dec they said that they could not send another one to me okay I went to use my extra benefits and everything I scan (hamburger hydrogen peroxide) etc said it doesn’t cover it I called they was doing updates I got told they should be finished in a couple hours BenefitsPro I working but not the product scanner here we are 4 days later and the product scanner is still not working I live 30 minutes away from my nearest Walmart that told me to scan everything individually to see if it covers it then pay for it if it don’t set it aside and don’t get it like I have all day to spend at the store

A lot better now

Thanks for upgrading BenefitsPro ! The last one was horrible and not user friendly. This one is better to navigate and less of an headache to figure out what’s eligible and what’s not.

Products not available

Your website is a joke. Prices are high for non brand items. The items available for purchase are very limited. As for in store shopping, my usual items purchased are now not eligible.
For the record I filed a major complaint with Geisinger insurance. I am not a satisfied customer and I hope Geisinger can come up with a better solution for OTC shopping. You only got a one star rating and if I could cut that in half I would.

I couldn’t put an order thru except in the old app. But the pro was supposed to be used after Dec. 31st. Why oh why did we have to lose our Healthy Benefits card where the elderly could order online for truly healthy foods from Walmart without trying to go in the store which is painful and confusing for many elderly?

Can’t get past address page of checkout

I went to go checkout and got as far as the address page but it won’t accept my address, the same address I’ve used for the past 6 months. I can’t go any further. I’ve been trying for 24 hours. Help!

Each store that has covered items need a list that could be viewed by the people that need to buy the products.. you are sending us out to stores that we have no idea if they have the item… we might have to go to several stores .. sending us on WILD GOOSE CHASE!!!!!

Can’t use it if it won’t open

Tried 5 times to use BenefitsPro but every time I tried to set up the account it would just close. Hit “continue “ and it closed. Delete app and reinstall. Same thing. Turn phone off to reboot and same thing. Nice idea if you can make it work but garbage if you can’t use it.

Since I got BenefitsPro and put in my credentials it says to get the new app and it was just updated yesterday
Can’t find a retailer and I know Walmart is two miles away
The developer should know how to develop it and improve it but as always no one is doing their best and it shows

My 1st order & 1st time using card

Being a new customer & having to get a replacement card due to misplacing my envelope with emeritus card. Reordered card & received it with about 10 days left to shop. That doesn’t seem it would be a problem but being new I really didn’t have time to go to stores & find & locate items which goes w the program. Also extreme weather for

I give this benefit a five stars but I did notice however, when I was ordering the Tums brand-name, the bottle states there are 96 count but in the summary you say, it’s a 46 count that’s very confusing to me what’s displayed on the product bottled should be what you sendthis is the only that I would have thus far otherwise I think it’s a great benefit

Over priced with limited products

App very slow to open with spinning icon! You sure do make it difficult to use monthly benefits but I guess that's a feature so we don't use them before they expire! Can't add this benefit card to Walmart wallet to use as a payment on their app to shop CHEAPER products so more hoops to jump through to shop. Who decides what is "healthy food"? Grass fed organic ground beef or ground lamb is NOT covered BUT a multiple ingredients GMO product is? Scanner is slow and cumbersome to have to keep clicking to scan items. Takes multiple clicks to scan - why not have it function like Walmart app scanner? Able to scan MULTIPLE CONSECUTIVE items without fumbling through numerous phone clicks killing phone battery. NOT shopper friendly!

Confusing, No one has answers…..

I have just received my Nations Benefit card. Have tried to use it online without success. Loaded the Benefits Pro Portal app and it doesn’t seem to want to work. It says to update but if I just added it would the new version be the one I added? Called and who ever answered didn’t have a working knowledge of this and has left me on hold for 10 minutes. It is very confusing, I haven’t figured out how to order online and the stores an not very helpful about how to purchase items either. Needs easier access or a better fix…..wasting too much time trying to manage this.

So glad you changed the format to buy these products. Before it was hard to buy because you could only buy one at a time and if you checked on your order you had to start over . It was very frustrating.

I was in the store today shopping for my mom and could not log in to scan item. It keeps showing 502 Bad Gateway what does this even mean. I just used it on yesterday 1/5/24 and today it’s not working.

Problems with meat

Recently received my card, downloaded BenefitsPro to check my balance. Found I could scan products at the store to see if they were eligible. To my surprise no chicken, hamburger or pork was eligible.
I checked the frozen meats they seem to qualify. What’s up, I don’t always want to buy frozen meat. Some packaged salads also were not eligible. I shopped at Walmart and Krogers.

Problems checking out

When trying to enter name at checkout, the screen kept automatically changing to the credit card number. It caused me to switch back to the name section about 6-8 times.
It all worked out. Just an annoyance.

Glitches

Apparently, BenefitsPro is the only way to understand what products are covered in retail stores, and BenefitsPro is constantly experiencing issues and not working. when you call to get information about benefits, they direct you to BenefitsPro but then tell you BenefitsPro isn’t working, so it leaves individuals completely without the information they need

BenefitsPro keeps crashing. It literally will not open. Without BenefitsPro , you’re shopping blind. I purchased only fresh produce assuming I would be safe since I could not scan any items to determine their eligibility, but my apples were not covered. How are apples not eligible as a healthy grocery item? A working app is necessary for consumers. Especially those on a tight budget.

Doesn’t work half the time

First of all, the items seem to be very much overpriced. And then trying to get BenefitsPro to work. It makes you try and place your order several times. You have to get out of BenefitsPro back into BenefitsPro out of BenefitsPro back into BenefitsPro etc, and it’s iffy if it will take your order. Really disappointed that they’ve lowered the over-the-counter and food benefit for 2024 since Sentara took over optima . Definitely going to go with anthem the next go round.

Terrible app

Latest failure: Crashes upon attempting to open. On the phone with customer “support “ for 1/2 hour before being put on hold for 10 minutes then cut off in my latest call to them. In two months, 4 calls (over an hour and a half in phone calls to customer “service”) BenefitsPro has never worked correctly. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Doesn’t work

For my insurance Freedom, BenefitsPro is supposed to let me scan a product at the select retailer and it will tell me if it is an approved purchase. Was adopting a pet. The majority of items were said to be approved by BenefitsPro . If one wasn’t I looked for comparable ones that were. At the register it said $4 was covered. I needed the items, used a credit card and submitted a request for reimbursement. I got a letter saying the items were not covered despite showing BenefitsPro saying the items were approved. Thank goodness I went ahead and spent the money on other items because I only had a few days or I would lose it. I knew they would deduct it from my next benefit credit if I spent it and then they reimbursed me but was worried they wouldn’t.

Happened to me before when I lost my card. I submitted my receipts & it was denied because even though I had to pay with a credit card while waiting for my new benefits card in order not to lose the benefits they refused because I had the groceries delivered but I wasn’t told that. Since I had to use my own form of payment I didn’t think it would matter if they were delivered for $7. We are old and/or disabled. It is difficult getting to and around the store. Why penalize a person who had to use their own form of payment because it was delivered 1 time because of a lost card and time running out

Easy Online BUT Difficult in person

I give BenefitsPro 4 stars because, it was very easy to shop and checkout. A small hiccup when placing my order with the 3 things I wanted left me owing $3.00 . It was my last $65 on the card. The $3 popped up in all red letters and when I pulled out my personal bank card …. I couldn’t find a place to enter my info. So, rather than calling customer service AGAIN ~ I just decided to take off two items and went with the larger purchase in my shopping cart. Furthermore, I have been having the awfullest experience at any store I go to use this card for cold & flu items!!!!! It would have helped me to know I shouldn’t have went to the self check line. Anyway thanks to the one cashier ( A Kroger Employee)who felt sorry for me and pushed my last purchase threw even though the cash register refused my whole order. Thanks for read. Typical Rocky Start But Great Developer Responce

I’ve posted a couple of reviews and have updated them as changes have been made to BenefitsPro . This is mostly due to the excellent response from the development team for BenefitsPro. Most new apps have some bugs and things to work out. This one was no different. However, what has been different has been the stellar resolutions from those monitoring these reviews and efficiently working out the issues. Very appreciative of the development team and all they do. Currently, BenefitsPro is functioning beautifully. At this point, I can say I highly recommend it.

Great Brands!

I have ordered various products on line through nation’s benefits and I'am happy to say that these products have proven to be of maximum quality to my health and well being. The prices are unbeatable, and the website is a breeze to navigate through! It also pleases me to be able to access my profile of history purchases, balances, costs, and readiness at my fingertips to quickly repurchase items that I use each month. For instance, the manner in which I order my vitamins/supplements is in keeping with my daily consumption and structured way of life!

Can’t figure out how much I can spend after tax is figured in

When I had an OTC with CVS pharmacy, I wasn’t charged shipping or tax. And everything added up as an even dollar amount. Now, when I think my order adds up close to the allowed benefit amount, I go to checkout and with the tax added, I have to delete an item to stay under the allotment. Then, it seems that I have enough for one more item (so that my benefit dollars don’t go to waste) but when a add another low cost item, the balance is once again thrown over the benefit allowance.
Sooooo frustrating and time consuming! I want my CVS back.

Easier to Navigate Now!

BenefitsPro has improved! It’s much easier to navigate now. More quality products have also been added 👍 However, our past orders info seems limited. If this could be extended for the entire year it would be good. Also, if hair and skin care products could be included it would be great. After all health care should include body care as well.

Zero stars

I’d give BenefitsPro zero stars. Have tried to register over six times. I go through every screen and each time it said registration successful and gave me a continue button. But when you press continue, it goes absolutely nowhere. I have unloaded and reloaded BenefitsPro thinking that is the problem to no avail. I have seen others talk about how buggy BenefitsPro is and I am fairly tech literate. But shame on you for asking older people who are barely tech literate to use an app that doesn’t even freaking work. Shame on you shame on you shame on you.

Nice grocery but expensive prices

I finally got to try the online grocery shopping it had a nice variety but not much in drinks i am liking the direction it is headed in.
I would also have expected some fresh fruit ie apples grapes oranges

Fingerprint sign in

YesterdayI added BenefitsPro to my phone. and set up fingerprint ID because I knew I was about to go to Walmart Pharmacy. When I tried to log in app would not offer fingerprint, only wanted password. Of course I don’t take such with me so I couldn’t use BenefitsPro to scan barcodes. There has been so much trouble with this company from the get go last year it gets my Irish up.

Order processing problem

I don’t know if it was BenefitsPro or not but I had 2 issues! ONE was entering the name on my credit card. BenefitsPro only wanted a single name, ie I entered my first name and BenefitsPro moved on the the account number, now TWO, the first time processing my order, it failed, stating there was a problem with Sales Tax. My product I was purchasing (Voltaren) had NO sales tax.

Can’t Login to Rate App

My carrier, Jefferson Health, decided to use BenefitsPro instead of the previous OTC app, which worked just fine.

I’m unable to login, because as soon as I do, BenefitsPro kicks me out to the home screen. There is no issue with signing in with the my Benefits app however, I’m asked to install the new Benefits Pro app. When I hit the button to do so, I get an error message saying that the page does not exist. So, I Downloaded the Benefits Pro app, and that where I get kicked out of BenefitsPro once I enter my membership ID number, last name, and birthdate.

I have spoken with my carrier as well as several calls to the helpdesk with no answer. I’m able to see my balance and personal information in the old app but it does not function fully. For example, I’m unable to scan products for eligibility through BenefitsPro . Additionally, although I see Walmart as one of the retailers, trying to scan a product does not produce any answers letting me know if the product is eligible to purchase with my benefits.

This is very exasperating and causes undue stress. I just want to be able to get the full usage of the new app and would appreciate a solution to this problem.

As a last note, several of the helpdesk personnel has attempted to log me in and has received the same outcome. thank you!

App refuses to acknowledge my user info plus:

BenefitsPro once worked fine but now refuses my user information to reopen BenefitsPro after closing it. It also no longer scans items in a pharmacy to see if they qualify on my “Extra Benefits Card”. The website on my home computer works fine but BenefitsPro on my phone no longer functions. I called customer support & they said the “I.T.” SUPPORT team is working on it but they had no idea when it would be working again.

App freezes

it might be the latest update that is the problem. It looks like the last update just went out yesterday at the time of this review. I downloaded BenefitsPro , it works fine at first. I login and look up what need but when I click on the product, BenefitsPro freezes. I have to close BenefitsPro and then when I reopen it, it’s the same thing over and over. So it's of no use at this moment.
I'm using iphone 12 and am on the latest OS update

Flakey Website

The website is unreliable, sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Had a bunch of canned foods in my cart but website wouldn’t let me order saying I had no food credit, yet I do. Unless something changed without my knowledge. Now I either can’t find Food in the menu or tells me “no items available. I have wasted so much time trying to figure this out. My husband was able to find my previous cart from several days ago on an app (which I thought I had already ordered but apparently it didn’t go through) but it wouldn’t let me change quantities, however after trying again, it SAID my order went through. Wow. I guess the Food benefits are gone, without notice? I spent hours on that order. Thanks a lot. Also seems like if I place an order at night time it doesn’t work! I wasn’t aware that websites had office hours. Sorry to complain, but really!

Still not working correctly

My scanner still won’t work. If I search for a product, then I click on it the Apple freeze, and then if I restart BenefitsPro , it will crash. There’s not enough of a selection on BenefitsPro making you have to go to the store, which doesn’t help if the scanner isn’t working I wish I could shop directly on the stores website like we used to be able to do with Walmart online. it was much more convenient for me since I am unable to drive and I need help in the store because I am legally blind. i’ve even tried reaching out to the developer with an email address that I saw that they developer replied with on one of these reviews, but I never got a response. at this point, I’m really irritated with BenefitsPro.

Not good

More expensive than stores! Nor can I buy these in the store why!!! I can buy them through this I should be able to buy them and more at the store! I have been turned down for fruit juices chicken fruits produce just what can I buy at a store!?! Every month I haven’t used all left on my card!!! In the beginning I could even buy toilet paper and I was told I could buy hygiene products! Far from true! Very emberrassed when at store especially when a cashier winds up paying for my groceries that is definitely not right! Don’t get me wrong I’m appreciative of how my cashier d helps with utilities I’m grateful but groceries just why am I forced to buy them through your book that has no meat bread produce fresh fruit fruit juices etc!

So far the whole experience is crappy

Can’t use it on CVS OR Walgreens website/apps because it doesn’t give information on what’s covered and what’s not. NOTHING at Walmart is covered. I’ve tried multiple times and it doesn’t cover anything. Not vitamins, personal hygiene items NOTHING!!
There’s not good choices on the website/app for Nations Benefits OTC. Most of the time what I do choose turns out to be poor quality and definitely way over priced.
BenefitsPro says it’s updated, but it’s constantly freezing so even the things I want to buy I can’t. Very annoying and frustrating. Giving Health Team Advantage a very bad opinion with them choosing this company.

Worst Benefit and App from Aetna

This is the worst benefit Aetna has offered. Absolutely nothing that will assist my mother, who has the insurance. Food choices are abysmal and way overpriced. Nothing to assist for her diabetes care. Also unable to use card to assist with payment towards her electric bill. Getting an error message saying card is not an approved payment option.

As for BenefitsPro —it constantly locks up or freezes and you can’t make any selection or even browse through it. Fix it or just get rid of it. I’d give it zero stars if it were an option.

Awful. It is a scam. Received the card a few days ago for 2024, the site says it will cease to exist on 123123. Apparently it closed 2 weeks before the card came out. I called customer service, the woman has no idea of this. I asked for a call back today or I am reporting to BBB. No call back. I will be filing a report. Lousy customer service, do not give any information to this company.
