I used a certain app featuring a bird for a very long time to try to learn Italian. I was doing great until that app changed its entire structure a few years ago. Since then I have tried all sorts of apps to try to find something as effective as that app once was. These guys managed to create the first app that is just like that app used to be. I’m learning Italian again thanks to the great structure and organization of PolyChat. Tons of great features, no intrusive ads, and a really clean and simple (in a good way) layout. Props to the developers and I hope they stick to this current formula as it’s perfect!

Lots to like in PolyChat. Heaps of lessons and exercises for learning Italian, French and other languages. I’m learning fast because the lessons are quick and easy to follow and explain the context if you need it 👍👍

Cool concept! I feel like with some more lessons for total beginners it would be better but for someone who already speaks some of the language already useful.

I’m already bilingual, and PolyChat has made learning my third language easier than ever. It keeps the process fun, interactive, and personalized to my needs!

PolyChat is so much better and more interactive than Duolingo! Their pricing is also much better - if you’re on the edge just try it.

Loved the chat bot to practice learning Spanish. Would like the ability to open a lesson at any level so I can skip ahead to where I’m at

I never realized how easy it was to learn the basic of a language when it’s displayed as a game, makes it so much easier to interact with

this app is a great app for learning French and lots of other languages. It’s got a chat tutor, lessons, a translator and vocabulary games. You can even make custom games to learn words from whatever topic you want. Sick!

Super easy to gradually pick up a new language. Already learned a ton of basics from the Spanish modules. I’ve been following the folks who built PolyChat on Reddit. Excited for the upcoming features they’ll be releasing. In the meantime, the modules are great.

Really fun app to improve my language skills. Even in the short time i’ve had it, I feel that my speaking and comprehension has improved a lot. Definitely worth a download!

PolyChat has a lot of the tools you would expect in multiple apps. You’ve got your standard lessons and exercises but also a translator, for lots of languages. They for sure communicate on Reddit and take feedback into account so it’s a good way to participate in a new app getting off the ground. The scenario portion and role play is great for traveling. I know a good bit of Spanish so the lack of level adjustment makes things different but there are still other fun aspects of the program.

Downloaded this app and wasn’t sure what to expect. I was looking for an app that helped me practice my language skills in real scenarios and this delivered! The Chat functionality is awesome, and lessons are to the point. I highly recommend giving this app a try!

Been trying to learn Spanish for awhile so I can talk more with some family of mine. The this app chat interface is by far the easiest way I’ve found to actually get a feel for the language. It’s basically like you’re immersed in the culture. Great app!

This is my favorite language learning app. So much free stuff!! The lessons are cool and extra features like the free translator is also really handy and works well with the examples and alternatives. I learned over 100 phrases this week and seeing them in my words and phrases is very satisfying. Can’t wait to see what comes next

The AI chat is a fun and useful tool that most other language apps (at least that I’ve used) make you pay for. I also like that I can take as many lessons as I want for free, I haven’t run into any sort of limit. Unrelated to paywalls, I like that the translator includes a button for alternative phrase suggestions

I took 7 years of french throughout middle school and high school. I haven't had the time to continue studying it since, however, I don't want my solid foundation of the language to go to waste. Just over the last week with, conversing with this app's interactive and adaptive AI has been an incredibly effective way of refreshing my memory and picking up where I left off.

I live in Texas and I am a new business owner. I have some customers who speak Spanish as their native language and so I’m trying to ramp up some basic knowledge. PolyChat has all I need to practice conversations or translate phrases in real time. I can also practice conjugations to get to the next level of proficiency. I recommend PolyChat for anybody trying to improve their Spanish or any one of the numerous other languages it includes.

Finally, an app that doesn’t repeat at nauseam. I get frustrated and honestly loose interest in language apps where I have to repeat phrases until they feel that I’ve memorized a few generic phrases. I feel like I’m still scratching the surface on what I can learn. French is such a difficult language to hear, so I think this challenges me, while providing backup support in pronunciation and grammar. Looking forward to continuing the lessons!

Boning up on my French after a long hiatus. Trying a few apps and this app shines for a few reasons. It has a slew of lessons with a wide range of exercises that I haven't seen in other apps like timed vocab exercises. You can get explanations for each exercise without having to pay extra which is sweet. PolyChat includes a translator that automatically gives you alternative translations and meanings so you can see the nuance. Also sweet. Recommend PolyChat for travellers.

Solid app. The lessons feel smooth and I like the fact that there’s a translator built in. Also the free explanations and AI chat mode are dope but AI Chat is too hard.
