Learn Spanish Reviews

Seems like a great app—IF it worked. I haven’t been able to successfully get through the introductory message without seeing the “Error Empty” pop ups. I deleted LearnSpanish & reinstalled twice. Even restarted my phone , same thing. I see two intro screens then a white screen and nothing else. Tried to go to the website for help—-nothing of use there to guide either. LearnSpanish & website are full of bugs that as soon as they are worked out I’d love to try the program out.

LearnSpanish was advertised on AppAdvice today for free. I'm trying to learn Spanish, so I thought I'd give it a try. (I am running IOS 17.5.1.) LearnSpanish opens and I get a red box/bar at the top that says "Empty" - and that's IT. I did attempt to delete and download it again, to no avail. I didn't even get to a point where I could activate LearnSpanish for the "free lifetime membership." There was literally nothing on the screen except the red "Empty" notice.

I had an error in the onboarding process and now LearnSpanish doesn't work at all. I've reinstalled it several times. Nothing. It sounded like this would be a great addition to Duolingo or even a replacement. Nope.

I'll reach out to the tech team, if I can. But it looks like there is a lot of basic work to be done still, with LearnSpanish.

Not recommended (because I can't get LearnSpanish to do what LearnSpanish does).

Download was problematic; app keeps on erroring out. UI is full of glitches. Current version (6/2/24) is buggy trash.
Update: developer reached out and explained temporary server issues. Appreciate the follow-up.

I’m updating my review to reflect that in light of my onboarding issues, the developer went above expectations to not only apologize for my inconvenience, but make it right.

If LearnSpanish is as good as the developers, I’ll be bumping up my review again

Hours later LearnSpanish began to work. Will update after using it for a few weeks.

It’s early days for LearnSpanish at the time of writing, but the potential is huge. The audio is great, and if you follow the lessons step-by-step, you will definitely improve.

If you’re serious about learning Spanish, then I highly recommend giving this course a try.

I have used several courses from this company in the PC world, all of which were excellent.
They are continuing their excellence in the Apple world.
Their approach is to start simple with the very basics of Spanish and will expand on the building blocks to teach Spanish in a very effective manner.

This is an amazing app that include comprehensive guidance and ways to learn Spanish even if you are a new learner or a moderate level.
You find lots of good strategies to learn Spanish quickly and provide webinar that you can learn more live from an instructor. Highly recommend it.

If you're serious about learning Spanish but want to keep it light and fun, LearnSpanish is totally worth it.

LearnSpanish is a fantastic resource for anyone serious about learning Spanish. I love how the way it’s set up makes the learning process engaging and enjoyable. The interactive, bite-sized lessons are perfect for fitting into a busy schedule, and the conversational approach really helps to improve fluency quickly. The progress tracking features are very motivating since you are able to set your goals and see your progress over time. The bonus content is great & so extensive too - definitely recommend!

The Learn Spanish Like A MF app is not perfect, but it approaches perfection. The lessons are compact, concise and cohesive—each lesson builds logically from the previous one. The student may choose to either read or listen to the material, or do both simultaneously. The lessons are informative and applicable to everyday conversations. Within a few lessons LSLAMF dispelled all my fears of transitioning from formal to informal speech situations. It genuinely has introduced a faster way for me to learn.

In emails with the developer, I’ve learned that new lessons are to be released on a regular basis—kind of like episodes of an ongoing television series. This approach, although suggesting an eternal bounty of instruction, appears to be something of a handicap for early subscribers. It seems ineffectual to promote speed if by “learning like a MF” the user is likely to outpace the available material. I was able to use the interval, however, for review and to study the wealth of bonus material.

I do find this program to be superior to the many others I’ve tried. It is the closest thing to one-on-one instruction I’ve encountered . . . at a fraction of the cost.

I have used other Spanish-learning apps and I believe this is hands-down the best one yet! Retiring in Spain is the ultimate goal and being able to communicate effectively can now become a reality!! Brilliant app!

I have been using the Learning Spanish Like Crazy audio to practice Spanish while driving or exercising for awhile. Best way to expose yourself to the language if you aren’t immersed. LearnSpanish takes it to a whole new level with the new versions, as well as showing the written language while it plays. Love it!

LearnSpanish really changed my experience learning Spanish, and gave me a positive outlook on language learning. I love that each lesson was unique and its own way, and did not feel repetitive. I appreciate that it does not just focus on reading but it focuses on listening as well. I highly recommend.

LearnSpanish seems really fun. I been learning French for years(and I struggle with that) but I’d really like to learn some Spanish too. I hope to be able to speak with clarity even if it’s just small talk and have a nice accent to make an impression. So it looks like I’m going to be in a fun language battle for quite awhile. To the developers I wish you all the best of success in “Learn Spanish Like a MF”!

I have used LearnSpanish for a short time now. I do believe that, with consistent use, your Spanish will improve without the need to have massive vocabulary lists and verb charts. It will come naturally. There is ample review and I really like that the speakers first repeat slowly and then faster as you are more likely to hear the words and phrases. Looking forward to additions and improvements.

The program has been excellent so far, though I have only practiced several lessons. The lessons do a good job quickly reviewing the last lesson before teaching the new details. I love that this is on the phone so it is easy to do a lesson while out walking or cutting grass or anything! Thanks for this new version and I am excited to continue my Spanish fluency!

It’s a unique approach that gets you into the language quickly. Teachers have great accents.
Beginners are going to love this but it’s also good for review. I’m advanced intermediate but picked up a couple of valuable tips in the first 5 lessons. Looking forward to more lessons.

This method of asking questions and listening is like being in a language lab. Testing yourself as you go makes you pay attention and the native speakers are excellent. They also explain a lot of basics without belaboring them, example: should you say “yo” as in yo soy or simply say soy. Both are correct, depending on your message. I like LearnSpanish better than the kind with photos where you are just building vocabulary and not involved in a conversation immediately.

This is a new take on learning Spanish like crazy where they have finally created and app and combined it with the book that is normally sold separately. This makes it easier to review words and phrases that wasn’t clear in the lesson.

The review process can be frustrating as they go repeatedly go over words and phrases that are very simple like “How do you say Hi in Spanish”

Overall I’ve been enjoying the lessons. They aren’t too long and learning spanish this way allows my ears to get accustomed to listening and understanding Spanish easier.

I'm grateful that LearnSpanish makes it convenient to learn Spanish whenever and wherever. I've always been intrigued by the language, and even though I have some basic understanding, I believe LearnSpanish will help me achieve fluency.

The lessons are clear and LearnSpanish is well laid out. The dashboard is helpful and provides a great overview of progress. The layout of the lessons is well done, providing a piece of conversation at a normal conversational pace and then breaking it down for the learner. Looking forward to using LearnSpanish much more!

I have been using Patrick Jackson’s teachings for a while now. Even though I’m inconsistent with studying, the lessons stick, and I see real improvement in my understanding and speaking with native Spanish speakers. I’m glad there is an app now, and the LSLC (learning Spanish like crazy) content is consolidated. I love it!
